Spark by Hilton Bensalem Philadelphia Hotel

What guests think

At Spark by Hilton Bensalem Philadelphia, reviewers repeatedly praise very clean, recently updated rooms and friendly, efficient staff, with a convenient location for Parx Casino, Sesame Place and nearby shops making it a practical base for short stays.

Guests like the pool, hot tub, and ample parking, though the pool and gym have at times been closed or under renovation, and temperature control in the water drew complaints. Rooms feel modern but somewhat minimal, with reports of limited storage and missing in-room items like microwaves or safes, and occasional noise from thin walls. Breakfast is mostly a cold bagel-bar style spread that many find fine for a quick start, but those wanting hot options wished for more. Expect a clean, straightforward stay focused on essentials.

Our stay was for 3 nights and we had a great time with using the pool and the games offered outside. Would recommend to add a fee other games like corn hole or the new tetris big game they offer at costco. Overall it was amazing and its pet friendly what our family mostly loved.

We really enjoyed the indoor pool and the outdoor seating area. However, the free morning breakfast doesnt come with eggs, bacon or sausage, or pancakes. Because everything else was super superb, we didnt think of that anymore during our four night stay. We love being here!

Family of 4 stayed for 2 nights for July 4th weekend. The pool was a nice touch and definitely made the stay great for my 4 year old. We picked this hotel due to its proximity to Sesame Place & Shady Brook Farms both being about 11 and 15 min distance, respectively. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Overall, we would stay here again.

We had booked 2 rooms for a 3 night stay. On the second night, there was a power outage due to a storm. There were no emergency generators at the facility. The hotel was dark, very dark. No emergency lights. There was no ventilation in the room as our windows did not open. It was scary and we felt unsafe. There was no communication by the staff. Guests were uncomfortable. After we toughed out that difficult first night of the power outage, in the light of day we were able to get down stairs to talk with staff. They could not put us up anywhere else, there would not be a generator available at all. We were told to check out, which we gladly did, even though we had no where to stay and were traveling with children. I expected more from the Hilton name for sure. I realize that Spark by Hilton is just that. A spark, no go.
