Was horrible! First got there used the elevator to go to our room and the elevator made a move that felt like we were falling! So we had to use the stairs the whole time (mind u I’m handicap) when told they said oh it’s okay to use we just had it fixed last week. Never again will I stay there!!!

This hotel was super clean and nice. We were welcomed in and the hotel was upgrading the exterior which was nice. The hotel is basic, but good. The breakfast was typical reconstituted eggs, for which I didn't care, and things were basic, but if you're okay with that, this was a practical, clean, economical stay.

Rooms were nice but the staff was rude and unprofessional at check in and during stay The clerk Friday night tried to make a man leave the pool because he was sitting in a chair with a service animal. Then the same woman made us leave the pool during daylight hours because she said it was 830 and they didn’t have lights at pool. All the street light and parking lot lights were on and lights around the pool but she said they didn’t work. Remind you it was still daylight outside and no one was swimming we were all sitting around the pool deck.

The property was not like the pictures. The rooms were old and outdated. The couch was an old dirty fabric couch with the material all pilled up. Looked like something you’d find on the side of the road for free.

Stayed in Room 110. Floor is laminate not carpet. Although no visible dirt on the floor was seen, when my wife took off her shoes and walked 8 feet to the bathroom her soles were filthy when she got to the toilet! Obviously vacuuming did not get the soil off the floor! Mopping of the floor is lacking and we felt dirty the rest of our stay, even though the rest of the room appeared clean.

The breakfast choices were alright but the food was not great. The second night at the hotel the guest in the room below us was smoking and it was coming through our vents and our room smelled terrible. We had to shut our bathroom door and open the balcony door at 2:00am to air out the room. The front desk attendant told us that the guest had been warned about smoking before and had been fined. Unfortunately there was no other room to move us to. I get migraine headaches from smoke and we really don't like the smell of smoke so that was VERY unpleasant for us.

Bed bugs. Out of date food on the breakfast buffet. Got bit 3 days in a row and only the night shift staff wanted to help me. Everyone during the day shift acted like I was the problem. I have not been issued a refund and waited approx 2 weeks to post this review. I was refunded my 150$ depost so I know I didnt do any damages. But i would like my money back. i even left a day early on my stay. They tried to say the bedbugs came from us...yet we showed them coming out of there beds and we have not been bit since.

Our room was nice and the staff was wonderful. What we hated was during our 3 night stay, we did not receive housekeeping service. We had to ask for coffee and clean towels. Our trash was overflowing by the time we checked out.

The hotel was okay. We stayed in a King Suite. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. But I wouldnt even think about sitting on the couch. It was visibly dirty and old. The carpet was worn but didn't look that old. The hotel looks to have been remodeled in the last 5 years or so but there were multiple electrical boxes with plates over them on the walls and painted over. I've definitely stayed in worse hotels but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Room was a nice size, clean and the king bed was sooo comfortable. Had a walk in shower that was great. Only complaints would be the dim lighting and lack of a full length mirror. Front desk girl was very nice and helpful as well. Would stay again if in Asheville.

I was traveling alone with my daughter for a softball tournament. The proximity to the ball Park was great, but the location was not the most safe looking. Facility is worn and upkeep is fair. the refrigerator made a skreetching sound in the middle of the night and the bed hurt my back. For the price I paid on a weekend, it wasn’t not the best. BUT the front office staff was amazing! Very kind and friendly. she Found an item that belonged to my daughter and was so dilligent to make sure she got it back.

The property is conveniently located, the rooms are quaint, comfortable, and very clean. My neutral ratings are attributed to the attitude i was met with by the receptionist. My NC state driver's license still has my old address listed, which was my parents' home located in canton, NC. They are the reason i am back visiting. I understand that these resorts have had their issues with "locals" and must take precautions. However, it was the complete change in her demeanor and body language that i found offensive and unprofessional. She immediately became cold, unfriendly, short, and borderline disrespectful after she saw my license. I was totally amicable and receptive to their policies in regards to identification with local addresses, including thr $150 cash deposit. I did not hesitate to oblige and i was not combative. I felt that her attitude was uncalled for. Her poor bedside manner and overall severity even after i obliged with a smile really made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, judged, and profiled. I even asked her if i should go ahead and get a refund and go elsewhere... the question seemed to annoy her even more. These hotels and motels really should advertise their policies and protocols better for wuch circumstances

Convenient and nice staff. Decent breakfast, although the milk tasted sour. Found a leak in the bathroom ceiling, probably due to a plumbing issue in the room above, but we got an upgrade to a different room. Was a little disappointed the manager wouldn’t give me a reduced rate for a second night stay compared to what I found on Expedia, otherwise we would’ve stayed another night. Overall the room was updated and clean.

I made this reservation after booking a different hotel in Canton. The person on duty at that hotel was rude, and cancelled my reservation and I needed a new place to stay in a hurry. The person who checked me in was super nice and helpful and was such a relief after my previous bad hotel experience of the evening. The room was spacious and comfortable. And the person at checked was also super nice and helpful. Thanks so much!

just myself and my pet for over a week. From the manager to the front desk to housekeeping, they all truly made me feel comfortable and safe and they accommodated me with any requests. it’s not completely updated but for the price and location, the rooms were huge and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was comfy and i was able to work remotely and enjoy the views from my balcony. i couldn’t hear anything unless folks were in the hallway or outside. I thank everyone that i met working there for their hospitality and kindness.

We had an issue with someone smoking in the building on the floor we were on. The night manager (Missy) was wonderful, she attempted to find who it was but in the meantime moved us to a different floor. Excellent customer service! Our room was clean and comfortable.

My family was there for a combined family reunion and my sister’s celebration of life. I had a presentation a slideshow on my computer and forgot a cord to finish up before the day. The receptionist at check in provided the cord I needed to finish up. The staff was very polite and helpful for all of us. We had our rooms together which was kind and one large room so we could gather the first night.

Breakfast was not very good. The shower was terrific, very hot water & great pressure. On every available horizontal surface was either a sticker or business card requesting tips, which was kind of offensive. They seemed to be short-staffed, which unfortunately is too common these days.

We found the lodging experience just fine, but the breakfast fell short of past experiences in Comfort Inns. Scrambled eggs were just not good, very limited fruit and jelly selection, and syrup tasted like it may have been artificially sweetened. The coffee from the machine was quite good and the waffle batter was also fine. The area was well maintained by the staff person on duty at the time.

Clean, quiet, safe. Staff nice. Thats the important stuff to know , and the reason I'd stay again. Breakfast was standard fare, but below average. Everything seems heavily processed and sweet. The OJ was basically water with a hint of orange. Wish they had healthier and more natural options.
