This resort is well taken care of, but it is older than it looks in the on-line images. Well maintained and clean, and it has been updated, and I would stay there again. Just know that it is not luxurious like it looks online.

The hotel was very nice, but we were in the annex which was a little rundown and needed serious updates. When we checked in the woman behind the desk was unpleasant and very snippy when we asked her a question. A little disappointed when we went to our room in the annex. Our room needed new toilet, rug, bath tub didn't drain. The slider was very hard to open plus the air conditioner from the upper floor was dripping down on the patio where green mold was collecting. Only spent one night. I would not come back to this hotel unless you are in the main hotel. When making your reservation make sure you ask to stay in the main hotel not the annex. Very disappointed.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza Asheville! The property is beautiful, check-in was easy, and the staff was super friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, and having a restaurant and bar right on the property was a nice bonus. They also have a shuttle for only $8 round trip, which made getting around Asheville really easy. Overall, a great place to stay and we’d definitely come back!

We were put in a room way in the back that needed a renovation--frayed carpet and dark hallway. Note this hotel has rooms with outdoor access and patios.

The lobby was beautiful and misleading. The rest of the hotel was run down, smelly and old. It needs major remodeling. I expected more from the Crown name - now I know better.
