The room that my fiancé and I stayed in had no window, which made me feel claustrophobic. The carpet was really dirty, you could tell a difference from under the bed. The valet parking was $44 a day plus tax. Probably wouldn’t stay there again but it’s a somewhat decent hotel for visiting New Orleans for the first time.

This hotel is charming and the balcony for our room 233 was the bomb. I would have liked there to be coffee available other than in the mornings, but the coffee was very good. Staff was very helpful and kind. We were close to shops and walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The only negative thing I will say is that when our car was brought to us when we were ready to go home, it smelled very strongly of Marijuana. The smell was overwhelming and I was worried that if we would have been stopped for any reason, our car would been searched forr sure.

Great location for all things French Quarter. Having a balcony room was worth it for enjoying coffee or wine. Friendly staff. Only downside is the daily morning trains that run nearby.
