Marina Square Suites

We had a exceptional view from our room but the complex seemd to need some attention to detail. We saw many people having a little trouble with their access to their rooms including ourselves. if you ventured away from the marina it didn’t appear to be the safest area. The bedding , both sheets and blankets were of very poor quality. I can’t pin point it but I wouldn’t stay there again especially if you were single.

Everything was great We have stayed here before and will be back again. My only item of concern is the cleanliness of the room floors. When I would get in the shower, there was noticeable dirt from my feet when I had been walking barefoot in the room. All else was fine except the fire alarm at 1AM on Sunday morning.

Parking not included, I was not informed till I tried to get into the garage. Had to pay extra. They don't have ice machines, they told me when I inquired, there are crappy trays to make your own. Fire alarm in the middle of the night, not their fault but no reassuring before letting people back in. Only great customer service is the cleaning lady with pink hair. Loved her! She was more help than the front desk

I will explain my rating. I had a great check in with Jasmin. She mentioned she needed her manager to check me in. I think they gave me an upgraded room. I believe they heard a fake police report was made about me at my Airbnb eariler that day and they wanted to accommodate me. I mentioned I wanted to extend for longer and so they put me into an extended stay room. They sent a link to check out late up to 3pm. I planned to book on a third party app but got stuck trying to complete the booking. Well, the next morning Jasmin tells me someone booked my room. I don't know how that could have happened when she put me in that room so I could extend. I was told I only had until 1pm to check out because they needed to clean the room for the next guest. I was told I should book another room and come back to the hotel 3pm or later. This caused so many issues in my day. Not only did I miss the bank during a holiday weekend, I missed the opportunity to get to the rental car company. I'm traveling from out of town for work and finding a place to relocate. I was living in vacation rentals all summer that at minimum offered me 30 days per rental. It was pointless to unpack the car. I took me an extra 35 mins to pack myself and my service animal into the car. I don't know how something like this could happen on accident. Good customer service should include prioritizing the first guest and new customers second. I wasnt a priority, so I left. I won't be back.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Parking in the garage by the water. A little confusing finding the office. Air-conditioning is a standalone. Our room was overheating when we got there. I sent an email and it was fixed the next day. Everything was beautiful.
