The parking lot was filled with construction equipment. It made finding a parking lot difficult if you were not there early. The carpets and a Postrio were not clean. My bare feet stuck to the carpet.

Good room. Great hot breakfast. Good pool. The hotel is fenced in at all sides except the entrance by the office (manned 24/7) and the buildings lock, which is crucial to keeping the homeless camp across the canal from encroaching. We had an excellent stay and felt both comfortable and safe.

It was a pretty great place to stay for a bit! I may come back here, if I decide to drive out to Fresno again. But overall, I enjoyed the pool, the bathtub, and the little cats that roamed around.

This hotel surprised me with the value and quality. Very clean, extremely nice staff, safe, quiet and big breakfast included. I was here on business and have stayed in multiple Fresno hotels in the same price range and this one exceeds them all. Not in the very best part of town but I was not worried at all on the hotel property.

Great place for the money. Mini fridge and microwave. Free breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausge, bisquits & gravy, waffles, etc. Very friendly staff. Parking can be a little tight for larger RV's, but very doable. Lots of restaurants and fast food nearby - but it's a little sketchy after sundown.

Employees were friendly and professional. Room had recently been renovated with new paint and floors. Bed was comfortable, I had no trouble sleeping. The room was clean except for a few dead roaches on the floor, but at least they were dead. There was a full breakfast, but I thought the scrambled eggs were a bit undercooked. Seating was limited, so i suggest getting there earlier rather than later. Overall, it got the job done, though I'm not sure I'd stay there again.

Would not recommend for families with small children. Hotel smells like cigarettes! All of it. Definitely not a smoke free hotel. Lots of homeless in the area. Rooms are outdated. Rooms are “clean” but feel and look dirty. Beds are old, ours had a dip in the middle. Last day we found a dirty sock behind the TV stand. Overall bad hotel!

The floors were dirty, looked like they did not vacuum well. The mattress was aweful, old and squeaky!! Homeless people outside the parking lot. they had security cameras and patrol, so that was good. The hotel is overpriced for the area.

Creepy crawlers. Moved from room 114 to 120 at 3:40am because of beg bugs. Caught one live crawling on a pillow in our video. My husband woke up due to intense itching. Will not stay nor recommend this place to our family and friends. Staff are nice though.

This was one of my worst stays at a hotel. The location was okay for a last minute stay, but the room was horrible. The restroom was not flushing properly. The noise from the people out in the pool didn't stop until abiut 1am, and throughout the night all you could hear were footsteps from the top floor.

The A/C could never cool the room. Room wasn’t hot just not as cool as we would like to sleep. Mattress clearly needed to be replaced. Was sagging in the middle and not comfortable. Towels were good but not replaced on our last day, which wasn’t noticed until the next morning when we showered. We shared one towel. The shower was stiff to operate. Had to pull on it pretty hard to turn on the water. Water pressure was good and shower head had good pattern. The hall always had the smell of pot smoke. Very sweet distinctive smell. In fact on the morning we left there was a joint left burning on the trash can outside. The breakfast was good. Area was clean and attendant stayed on top of everything. This was probably the best part of the stay. Can’t say I would recommend anyone staying here. Owners could do much better.

I was cautious after reading the reviews, but my room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and it had everything one would expect at this type of hotel. Some guests were noisy and inconsiderate in the hallways, but the hotel can hardly be blamed for that. Freeway access is great and the breakfast was acceptable with good variety. Good free parking, slightly slow wifi, digital TV with horrible selections - mostly ads. MW and fridge in room a plus.

Very bad. Dirty. They wouldn’t give us the room we booked because they insisted our service dog was a pet. Pretty sure that goes against ADA, so I’ll definitely be looking into that. Never in my life was I denied the room I booked for having a service dog. Loud as heck at night. 2/10, breakfast was the only decent thing.

I think her name is Cheryl...maybe Michelle. She is amazing and did an amazing job checking in large groups. There was a huge High School event and a biker event, and she did a great job separating the 2 and getting a full hotel checked in!

I didnt like the area. I didnt like the service at the hotel. We went swimming and asked for towels multiple times but never received any. Staff looked unhappy to be there.

Front desk were pleasant and professional. Sherrie and her trainee were wonderful. the lobby was decorated with holiday spirit. the breakfast was the best I have had in any hotel and i have stayed in over 30 this year. it was fresh, great variety and every thing was well stocked. the person making breakfast was wonderful, smiled made you feel at home and keep things tidy and clean

This hotel has a good location off Hwy 41 and close to restaurants and businesses. It is, however, an older, scarier part of town. I felt uncomfortable driving in at night and wouldn’t leave the hotel on foot. I felt the condition of the hotel was run-down, outdated, and dirty. Simple things like updating the caulking in the bathroom and baseboards would help. Where walls were repainted, it was thick and looked messy. I just felt the hotel was older and needs a remodel. Breakfast was average-yogurt machine broke while we were there. Positives—the receptionist at the front desk was very nice, and the lady working the breakfast was sweet as well. She went out of her way to open the door for us as we left with our luggage. They do have a security guard watching the parking lot, but it is needed with the number of homeless living right there. We were looking for a hotel in Fresno that was close to the national parks, and convenient to the freeway. While this hotel does those things, it is just too outdated and unclean. We won’t stay there again.

The property is in the middle of a remodel, for example, the breakfast room was blocked off and a few tables crammed into a very much overheated space. Room was OK but not as clean as I'd prefer if you looked carefully. Area is a bit sketchy, there were crazy people pacing and back and forth and yelling in front of the parking lot entrance both when I arrived and departed. Staff was courteous. It was just OK. I won't be staying again.

This Best Western was about what I expect from a basic Best Western vs a Best Western Plus. The room was clean, bathroom has some dirty corners and provided just basic shampoo and bar soap, thin towels. The breakfast was fine—had bagels, waffle maker, ok coffee, styrofoam plates and plastic cups. The hotel is in a location which didn’t feel that safe in that they told us they had roaming security all night and had signs in the parking lot warning about theft. this hotel is only 5 minutes from VA hospital in Fresno. The employees are kind, considerate, helpful and a great help to family from out of town. the rooms are clean and comfortable. Management was wonderful when my TV was not coming on. they fixed the problem right away. The breakfast was the best. great variety, hot , wonderful selection of fruit, cereal, biscuits and gravy, breakfast meats, yogurt and so much more. everything was hot and fully stock at all times , everything was clean and oh yes the waffles were excellent. the outdoor pool looked wonderful and the young kids were having a great time, was a little cold for me. Sherry was wonderful at the front desk. She gave directions for all the things i needed in the area and was caring and kind.
