What guests think

Across recent reviews of Miccosukee Casino & Resort, guests frequently praise clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff, and enjoy the lively on-site casino, while others report mixed experiences that depend on expectations and which amenities matter most.

A recurring theme is the pool and gym being closed for renovations, with Wi-Fi reliability issues and the absence of in-room fridges or microwaves also noted. The location suits Everglades and Shark Valley visits but is far from central Miami and the airport, so rideshares can be costly. Dining feedback is inconsistent, with limited outlets, variable breakfast quality, and some venues closing early. Expect a casino-focused stay with limited amenities and a remote setting.

Went to go to the fitness room and the pool there isn’t one of either. ask the front desk .. stated that both are under renovation.. I said it doesn’t say that on either website .. front desk stated it doesn’t state that the resort have it either .. ok!!!! … so heads up resort but not a resort !!!!

It’s a perfect place , after an entire day at the Indian Village. Room was excellent. The old casino area needs a new rug . Bad smell. Entertainment was great . The slots don’t give enough money 😂😂. Buffet breakfast was very good , with nice outdoor seating. The staff everywhere was awesome. The pool and gym was under re- construction. We didn’t need , but if you do, contact them to see when available

When I made the reservation, it stays parking was included, but the hotel guest parking gets packed at night because the people that come to the casino take over. You end up parking extremely far away from the hotel and it is not safe. Suggestion: The designated area for guest parking should be a check-in point and cars should be identified for a better service.

Staff was helpful and nice, room was nice clean. Did not like that there was no gym 😡. Did not like that you did not advertise the Boxing fight upstairs. Did not like your complimentary breakfast do not eat meat could only eat potatoes. Went to the Miccosukee air boat and they didn’t know of the discount offered with players card had to wait till they called manager to get it. Did not have live Black Jack? All in all we had a good stay and I would do it again.

My husband and I live about 30 minutes south in Homestead. I’m not a gambler but my husband likes to spend his portion of the entertainment budget playing the slot machines! We’ve never stayed at the Miccosukee and last night we randomly decided to stay. We were both pleasantly surprised and wondered why it has taken us several years and at least 100 trips to the casino to enjoy their hotel rooms. I stay at hotels almost weekly for business and what struck me most was the cleanliness. The entire (very large) room was SPOTLESS!

I cannot say I was impressed with this hotel. It looked run down, the room smelled of mildew and lingering water, and it was not particularly comfortable. The restaurant screwed up our order 2x. The casino itself was not high end. Unless you are looking for a place that gives you easy access to the Everglades, I would not stay here twice.

First time visitor here. I got the jacuzzi suite. Tub is tiny compared to how it looks in the pictures. Everything was excellent for the most part. I will say they need to update their rates of maintenance. My shower handle came off and I ended up cutting my hand/getting a shard of metal lodged in it. Thankfully ii brought tweezers this trip. Joking but also kinda serious about the possibility… I hope I don’t have tetanus. With a proper update, I’d come back. I do appreciate the bandaid but I do feel something more should’ve been done. Hopefully it we’ll be fully corrected going forward

This wouldn't be bad as an economy choice, but at almost $300 a night.... sorry for your choices. It's an old build with a bunch of low end gamblers roaming around. I hear people from down the hall talking and closing the door. The water handle on the tub wasnt attached, and no refrigerator in the room. Staff was friendly on check in, so that didn't suck

Check In went very smooth, the staff were very attentive everywhere we went. We requested some linens in night and they happily and quickly brought it up. The rooms were very clean and adequate furnishings for what you'd expect of for the price and photos listed. To be picky, the bathroom vanity area was outdated. We were a bit disappointed we didn't end up with any rooms with a frig but it wasn't advertised we would have one. Our only real complaint was that the hotel key cards kept getting deactivated multiple times a day, which was frustrating. Breakfast included was a plus, it was simple but it was surprisingly good/fresh.

Traveling from Central Illinois to the hotel was a long trip, & to not know about the room key, was very upsetting. We’ve never stayed in a hotel that we had to use our room key to use the elevator,& we weren’t the only guests he did this to!!

The overall experience was very good despite an issues with the room. Unfortunately they eliminated one of the best breakfast buffets in the state. Now the food service has dropped to something equivalent to a fast food chain restaurant or less. This seems to be a trend among the few casinos I frequent. The airport like chain restaurants are small with little or no seating.

Room was great , very clean. Enjoyed the casino for a bit. BREAKFAST WAS FANTASTIC with bacon cooked perfectly crisp and fresh with scrambled eggs, sausage links too. Also the pastries were yummy. We had plenty of parking in a side parking area for our RV and truck, after checking in we went to the required desk for parking permit to display in truck and looked around a bit. I did not see a pool or any advertisement for it. We did walk around back and side pond area seeing iguanas. Front desk staff at check in was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable. Different front desk staff in the morning was also friendly. We would stay again if nearby.

My overall stay was good. Room was clean bed was comfortable shower was hot and staff was friendly. I have only one complaint the first day the breakfast buffet was great and the orange juice was amazing. It was served at the La Brisa restaurant. I went back the second day it was not so good and they put water in the orange juice. It tasted like water with orange color and when I told them about it they offered me a coke from the fountain which was very flat. The other people at the buffet opted for coffee instead but all of us agreed the orange juice was horrible. Please don’t try to skimp out or cut corners we pay a lot of money to stay there that was very low class to water down the orange juice to the point it had no taste. Also later that night La Brisa served me some hard buffalo wings and a couple of them was not even edible due to feathers and bones sticking out. They were like scrap ends of the chicken. The wings came out really fast after I ordered them and I could tell they probably had been sitting for a while and they just put them back in the grease and served them to me. I paid $16 for 6 wings and only 4 was edible. I was not satisfied with the food from La Brisa.
