Our family trip and stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean and pet friendly. The only issue that we had was the first night there was a bunch of kids staying in the hotel and we're making a lot of noise, slamming doors, and running around the halls.

The hotel was clean and nice. We realized when we looked at the doors from the inside that the back doors are locked in the winter. However, the sign on the outside says they close at 10 pm. Most of the parking is on the backside of the hotel. We got there at 9 pm and thought we'd be able to go in the back doors but they were locked. It would be nice if they opened with a key like the one on the side. It was 32 degrees and dark, and I consider it a safety hazard to have to park in the back and walk around to the front in the dark. Probably won't stay there again in the winter time. Also, the hotel said there would be a hold for $25 on my debit card, but there actually ended up being two, so it was $50 total. I assume I will get that back.

Comfortable bed. The only problem with the room was very minor: the shade was supposed to operate with a remote control that was not functioning, so a mechanic had to come to the room to bring the shade down. He was very helpful and apologetic; it was no big deal.

I usually love this hotel, and overall it’s great, but there were two things I want to mention. First, the floor of the walk-in shower is slippery as H*!! My foot slipped the second I set it down in there so I held on carefully for the rest of the shower. My Mother was staying in another room and she said the same thing. The second thing, also about the bathroom, is the shower head controller. It may have been installed with their “MENSA” guests in mind (aka: it was crazy to try and figure out, especially with the H/C settings being worn off. Anyway, all else was good.

The hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly. The 24/7 premium coffee was awesome. However our bed was terrible. The middle springs were broken. Unfortunately we found it out late at night and didn't bother with it, since we stayed for only one night. Also, the bodywash bottle was almost empty. Towels were quite hard on your skin. The hotel should check integrity of the beds more often. Housekeeping service appears in need of improvement.

. We were impressed with Holiday Inn overall. But I forgot my car keys in a top dresser drawer and did not receive a courtesy call. We were so busy moving our son into his new place, that we did not remember our car keys till Monday morning (4am). Immediately I called and spoke to gentleman and he confirmed that our keys were found. But he stated the keys were locked in a secure location and that we could pick up the keys after 9am. Our return home flight was 6:30 am Monday. Hence, we now must pay for our keys to be returned and we are waiting patiently for our keys. A courtesy call really would been appreciated.

Although the room was suppose to be a non-smoking room, it smelled of smoke and the room was musty. Because we were on the first floor, it was loud past 10pm due to people in the common/eating area. The side table and desk were not wiped down, you can see visible water rings left from beverages. The tile leading to the door, inside the room, was visibly dirty. The hotel is conveniently located near a Sheetz and parking availability fine.
