Motel 6-North Richland Hills, TX

Got to room and sheets and comforters were stained and had hair on them. They did give another room but the comforters had stains on them also. No water pressure and drains were really slow. The vending machines were completely empty the whole stay.

Just OK, needed a room in a hurry. I was told over phone they could provide Iron and Board. When at property I was told they do not offer this. When I entered room first thing I noticed was three cigarette burns in the bedspread. The positive: hot water

The lady at check in was not really friendly or talkative. The hotel looked run down and the room we stayed in had a small holes in the wall, stained blankets, lumpy pillows, and rusty microwave. There was sketchy people outside and some random guy knocked on the door while we were there. Also disappointed the pool was dirty and we were not able to swim. Also should have more handicap spaces.

Trash in the parking lot. A trash bag in the grass by the stairs Parking lot holds water. Door to the room was hard to open up to get in.

Overall it's a very affordable price and good customer service no complains from us the only think wish they had their pool working

So I stayed here for two nights. When I booked I didn’t realize it was in an area where many people seem to gather overnight. The area was sketchy and If your alone it can be a bit scary. The room overall was ok. The sink didn’t drain and it was a bit gross. There was no iron so I had to go buy one because I didn’t realize they had no irons so our clothes was wrinkly. Towels had stains and so did sheets which it made it feel unsanitary. But I mean for what we paid I guess it was to expect.

Not clean. Toilet didn’t work. Flies. Smelled bad. Only positive is the shower water pressure is great

It was disgusting there was stains all over the bed on the sheets it was mole all on the wall behind the toilet gross the TV didn't work nasty I asked for a refund and went somewhere else

Cockroaches!!!!! Walls are filthy! Very run down!

The door was sticky and we had to throw our bodies into it to open or close it. It’s a bare bones hotel. Nothing fancy. But definitely needed to be cleaned.

We got bitten up in the night and found bed bugs in the beds the next morning. We went to the front desk to talk to a manager and was blown off and told the manager is in India and can't be reached. There were 2 other guest in there complaining about how dirty their rooms were at the same time we were. I will be disputing the Expedia charges with our credit card company. DEFINITELY AVOID THIS DIRTY MOTEL. I can't believe Expedia would allow places like this to be on their site. Worst stay ever.

The room was nasty. There was Mold on the bathroom walls and around the sink faucet. I saw a few roaches, one I thought I smashed but it got right back up trying to get away. The tub doesn’t drain properly when taking a shower. There was hair that wasn’t mine throughout the room. The floor kept shaking from the noise beneath my room. The vibrations shook the bed. It was so uncomfortable I couldn’t stay the whole night and left at 5am. Terrible stay. And all they had to offer was 7am coffee, with the condition of the hotel I assumed would be just as gross. There was also people loitering outside the rooms which also made the stay uncomfortable. Nice area though, with good food options nearby. Check in was quick and easy.

Great location is the only great thing you will find. Spend an extra 20 dollars to be anywhere else. 6 reasons not too stay -Loud Music -Musty Rooms -Room had doors with broken wall jams -Showers would not Drain -Small Pillows -Lack of cleanliness, bring your own cleaning supplies

Very basic room. The bed takes up much of the space. One of the bath towels seemed dirty so I did not use it. Had to dry off with a smaller towel. Good for a one night stay on a budget.

I paid for a non smoking room and still my room smelled to smoke. If you are very tired and are looking for a place to rest, this isn’t the place, it’s next to a freeway and the noises of the car on the freeway it’s terribly loud. The shower wast good and the bathtub was clogged.

Unbeatable value. Very cozy room with some minor issues, but all quickly resolved with staff. Door locks are super finicky, but in the way that they stay locked so that’s a good thing lol

I guess it was clean it just didn’t feel clean. Shades didn’t do anything, was so light in the room all night. Bed was mediocre and the walls are paper thin. Wish I spent the extra $10-$20 for a different place to stay

We used this facility as a place to sleep and take a shower in the morning for our stay over the Christmas holiday. We expected it to be spartan. The room was overall clean but the shower did not drain well and you ended up standing in bath water at the end of the shower. The door to the room did not seal well and looked like the frame had been damaged and the fit wasn't good. There was a microwave but no coffee maker or fridge. Small inconveniences and not a complaint per se given that the cost was low. If you decide to stay here just be aware that this is a short term stay place to rest your head. You have a major highway right outside your door so traffic noise will be present. Would I stay there again? Probably not but I would pay more for a little bit better facility.

Things were fine for the most part. The reason for the low rating is because the AC unit’s fan was loose on the rotor which caused terrible loud intermittent metal on metal scraping noises when used. I had to turn off the AC in order to sleep, which made it warm and uncomfortable.

Front office staff is friendly and helpful when problems or concerns arise they do there best to solve it for both parties involved. Meaning you and them.

They front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. The house keepers are excellent at they job!! I would stay here again!!

Great staff!

I was alone with my two kids, when two men who work there was banging on the door trying to come in! When I asked who they were, they only yelled OPEN THE DOOR! Only for them to come inside the room just to check the smoke detector and adjust the air conditioner to freezing cold. It was very scary, invasive and inappropriate. I wouldn't return for free!

The room was clean, the people in the office were nice and helpful with our stay.

Property manager is very very rude.

I loved this motel 6. Mini and Nick at the front desk are amazing. They started my stay with a smile and kept the vibe going all the way through. The set the tone for a happy and fun stay and it definitely was.

Ken the manager is very rude. I found a bed bug. Showed him the picture of the bed big as well as dirty towels that house keeping dropped off. He then told me in his own words if I don’t like it go somewhere else. He then tried to blame the reason for bedbugs on the rain saying that they come in with the rain but they spray medicine every month. There are also people who live here long-term apparently there’s a family of 10 who stay downstairs the stairway to smell like pee because they just hang out there. He also told me that the linen in towels aren’t always clean because if somebody stays here and dirties them up they just wash them and put them back out for a new guest, until they are so dirty they throw them away. Then asked to speak to somebody higher up or for a phone number and was told that he will not give it out. The icing on the cake was when I was leaving at the door he then again told me if I don’t like it stay somewhere else this is motel six he said.

Not the best or the worst. Lots of activity at night, Really only for a quick affordable night stay.

The property is conveniently located for our purpose. It was basically clean and comfortable. Good enough for a quick overnighter. The issues were the bright lights outside our room and the curtain didn't block much. While we did not experience any unsafe incidents, the proximity of homeless and suspicious individuals in the parking lot overnight took away our sense of safety and peace of mind.

First night wasnt bad,then i realized it wasnt a so good area.staff was good,but people knocking at my door all hours of the night looking for someone who used to live there.found a needle on the ground over by the highway.not very clean at all.and did not feel safe.

This property was easy to get to in to and reasonably priced. It was a quiet place.

Walking distance to several different restaurants and bars. Convenient and comfortable

I got what i needed for the money. A bed, a shower, and a TV. A lot of upgrades are needed. New linens are needed. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was great as well.

You get what you pay for. This is not a Holiday Inn. If you want Holiday Inn quality and service, go pay twice the price for a holiday inn. First things first, I'm a borderline germaphobe, and 7 months pregnant. My husband, my 2 (4&7) kids and I all stayed here from Saturday thru Tuesday and only paid $230 total. The room did NOT stink, which is extremely important because stench=filth. I brought my own towels & pillows as well as a sheet to cover the bed with blankets for us because it grosses me out to use communal laundry and I'm still partially traumatized from a recent visit to a disgusting extended stay a few miles away in fossil creek. Bathroom was clean enough that I let my kids take baths in the tub Shower pressure was flipping awesome, did not have an issue with running out of hot water either. Place was very small, but we made it work. There was some kind of issue with my reservation but they still got us into a room. There was road work right outside the room but between the AC unit and my earplugs, it wasn't a bother. I could hear the people upstairs occasionally but it wasn't bad. Location was great, lots of food and shopping nearby. No breakfast, but I think you can get coffee. No smoking, but pet friendly. Btw, friendliness begets friendliness. The front desk attendants were nice and accommodating within their limits. I'm happy enough to stay there again in the future. Call the day before to confirm your reservation. Awesome parks nearby for the kids as well.
