ALO Hotel by Ayres, Orange

Right by the outlets. The only thing I didn’t like is the parking is not free and has to be paid through an app.

Our room had two queens. It was a good size for us, two adults and two children. Everything was clean and well maintained. Pool and spa were clean and enjoyable. I didn’t get their names, but Sunday (10/19/2025) morning front desk staff (2 women) were very friendly and greeted everyone with smiles. Housekeeping staff and maintenance staff were all friendly and greeted us as we passed them in the hallway or on the property grounds. Right across from Outlets at Orange, so many options for lunch, dinner and shopping.

Rooms are nice, quiet and clean, hot breakfast was good and the fitness center was perfect!

Always a nice place to stay. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Nice simple breakfast. Close to freeway and lots of dining options near by. Don't like that they charge $15 each day for parking, it used to be free. But oh well I guess nothing is free anymore. Other than that this is a nice place to stay.

Pictures of breakfast are not accurate, Fitness room small and very limited equipment, but you can get in a workout. A bench would be a nice simple addition

Great stay at the ALO. Smaller hotel, but they did not cut any corners on making their cleanliness, friendliness and amenities. Breakfast selection was quite large, with hot and cold options. Pool and Hot Tub were perfect temps all the times I went to it. (There was no towels out there tho which I found inconvenient) Rooms were some of the cleanest I have seen! Usually you can look at the corners and base boards and see dirt, and there was none! Location was great. Close enough to be able to do things but far enough away to not have the crazy hustle and bustle going on. Overall, would gladly stay here again!

Excellent location. Love the pet friendly rooms, as I had my small dog with me. It’s nice there is a dog relief area in the back as well. Friendly staff (front desk and housekeeping). A little bummed there is a fee to park per night now.

Excellent price. Free Breakfast and parking (at the time) included. Breakfast was very basic. Looks newly renovated and very clean. Charges early check in fee which I did not pay. Lots of parking. Onsite restaurant is very good. Only negative were that the elevators are rather scary. Very bouncy, clunky and noisy. As a matter of fact we could hear the noice from our room down the hall. Also located close to a hospital so could hear lots of sirens.

TL;DR Low value for the price. Two hotels, same owner, split property. Stayed at ALO side. $125 deposit. Unnecessary. TV was the size of a large computer monitor. The cable was super glitchy and unwatchable, poor channel selection too. Luckily I had a laptop and HDMI with me so I could stream a movie. Pillows were not fluffy or full at all. Uncomfortable even folded. Woke up with a sore neck. Thin walls, loud. Doors slam. Recently changed policy to pay for parking. The sign said it was to 'enhance the guest experience.' I didn't see security or any other featured benefit, in fact, there were a ton of people using the parking area as a shortcut to get to the adjacent businesses. Needed an app to pay for parking. $10 / night. The b.s. is transparent. Breakfast was the typical cheap school cafeteria quality hotel buffet breakfast. The area to eat was extremely cold at 8 a.m., and another sign said we had to eat our food there, couldn't take it to our room. One elevator was broken, the other sounded like it was about to break. Long wait times and only comfortably fit 4 people with no luggage. Ice machine only on second floor. Had to go to each floor to find that out b/c when I called the front desk, it rang for over a minute. Hung up. Broken receptacles, plugs falling out. Power issues. Certain receptacles charged my phone at different speeds. The bathroom GFCI wasn't tripped but didn't charge my beard trimmer at all. Fridge was only cool on high setting.

There is one dead & alive spider in the bathroom & one flying insects on the clean lining. Even though after clean up the room, the bathroom still has lots of different type of hair or body hair. All new bed sheets have hair before we use. Pool water was extremely dirty with leaves, dirt, death bee & spider web too. You asked for extra towels & give you extra pillow. EV charger was broken too when we arrived.

Stayed at this hotel many times. Always feel safe inside the hotel. The free breakfast is great. Have to pay $15 for parking now but there is plenty of parking spots available. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Honestly it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had! When we just arrived and wanted to take a shower, we couldn’t use the towels as they were dirty and hairy - it was disgusting! Also, there was no water in the room, we wanted to drink around 1 and when we ordered to have them delivered, they did not deliver anything but told us we have to go down to the second floor for a vending machine (which was also terrible we had to buy each item one by one), and also there wasn’t any toothbrush in the room so we had to order some and they also told us they don’t deliver that to our room so we had to go at the reception and get them. They handed us 2 bags we assumed everything was fine, but when we arrived to the room and opened the bags, there was only toothbrushes without any toothpaste. When we called them to send us some (it was in the morning) they told us that they do not send toothpaste via room service, we had to go down again and get them, which is unreasonable honestly like seriously what does the room service actually deliver? Not water, not toothbrush nor toothpaste, what then? Awful experience, what a waste of money really! I have 2 stars overall just for the staff because they were polite and helpful.

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Room was a good size. AC was nice and cold. Good value. Pretty quiet too. Only thing that was not the best. The bed was okay but not to cozy.

The pillows were terrible. Almost non existent.

Amazing stay - amazing staff - clean rooms - comfy beds - hot showers - feee breakfasts - 12:00 check outs - plenty of parking - a really really great stay - and I will recommend - BUT - my only complaint was - the damn TV !!!! It's too small and it's from 1998 - update the TVs to at least a 42-46 inch with an easy menu - the menu sucked as well- very hard to navigate - update the TVs and it's a 5 Star all day long

This property was clean, the beds were also clean and comfortable. The room Itself is a little on the older side but the staff keep everything in good condition. The only thing we didn’t like was the tv, there were only five channels to watch. We had our iPads so we just used the free WiFi and watched Netflix. The property is 8 minutes from Disney so that was a plus! Will stay again.

The rooms can definitely benefit from some upgrades. Beds are not comfy and the breakfast was mediocre at best.

We stayed in an ADA room and it was very accommodating except it had carpeting which is very hard to walk on with a walker. The bathroom was great and the bed was a good height. Just the carpet was a problem.

Rooms clean and updated, conveniently located 5-10 minutes from Disneyland.

The only thing I have to complain about was the floor by the bathroom had something sharp sticking up. Like a nail or something. Other than that the hotel is dated but the rooms are comfy. For the price it was good.

The hotel is clean and comfortable with a convenient location, but rooms facing the main road can be noisy. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were very good, and the front desk staff were friendly. However, the housekeeping knocked on my door three times within two hours in the morning, which was a bit disturbing. Unfortunately, there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign available in the room — it would be great if the hotel could provide one.

Jackie at the front desk was very sweet, I’ve never stayed there before and she was just very informative. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and that restaurant has delicious food and drinks.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful at check-in all through check-out. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. I also appreciate micro and fridge in room. I felt secure and comfortable in hallways and in building. Nice decor. The TV's in the rooms could be updated. The method to pay for parking was a bit cumbersome (I had to pay through a different app on my phone).

My stay at ALO Hotel by Ayres, Orange was great! The service was great, I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, and the staff were very helpful and kind. They kept the room clean and kept the attached restaurant and breakfast dining area spotless each day we were there. I appreciate this hotel and its staff and will be returning should I have more business in the area.

Mauritza at the front desk was fantastic. She was helpful, professional, kind with a great smile. A great representative of your company.

On our second evening the toilet was clogged. I went to the front desk to tell LETTY the receptionist about it. She took a plastic bag from her drawer, went to a side closet, put a wet plunger in the bag and try to handed it to me SO I CAN GO TO FIX THE TOILET MYSELF… I told her “NO, there is no way that I’m going to plunge the toilet myself”, “how dare you trying to get the PAYING customer to go fix the toilet in the middle of the night” I was furious, I told LETTY no way I’m doing that, she mumble “I’m not doing it” so I told her, since you are not doing it, why do you think it ok for you to ask me the paying customer to do it, that’s just ridiculous, at this moment a coworker or manager stepped in and apologized for the situation that it was not their intentions to offend me. But the stupid smirk of LETTY during the whole interaction told me different. She (LETTY) even try to blame ME about the toilet being clogged when she told her coworker o manager in SPANISH “it’s because they put so much toilet paper in the toilet”… you have not seen the toilet, you were not there, you don’t know anything about me… how dare you… I’m sure she didn’t know that I’m fluent Spanish speaker because when I told her in Spanish no to be blaming me for things she doesn’t know is when her coworker or manager stepped in and started to apologize I find it INCREÍBLE DISRESPECTFUL to ask the customer to go plunge the toilet in the middle of the nigh. We will never be back to this hotel

Night staff not to helpful or friendly Bed sheets were not clean ask front desk staff to switch sheets and they gave us clean sheets for us to do it.

This is our second stay within a week. This time it was for two nights. Nothing else except compliments to the staff.

Clean and modern hotel and at a bargain rate. Short drive to Disneyland.

Great location. We were able to walk to Angels Stadium with ease. Located near some great spots for dining.

This was a gamble since I have never been to Disney land and Alo did not disappoint! We stayed for three nights with our 11yr old granddaughter. There were great food options for the whole family and a mall with great activities within walking distance. The Uber to Disneyland was awesome and only a few minutes away. Staff was awesome, hot breakfast was great and the pool/jacuzzi was clean and refreshing. Highly recommend.

This was so convenient to UC Irvine Hospital.

Charging $15.50 a day for parking is steep. Very noisy all night due to trauma center across the street.

This hotel is conveniently near a shopping center as well as the Honda center rooms are clean. Staff is nice and breakfast was great.

The breakfast food was below average. The breakfast reataurant was very cold wvery morning. One of the elevators stopped working. Staff was great and so was the room. Towels are nice and we had housekeeping everyday, which is rare.

Comfortable place, good location, attentive staff, attached Mexican Restaurant was very good with many unusual entrees.

Good stay

Family friendly hotel! The staff was very nice and the area was clean around the hotel and we felt safe.The room was also nice and clean and spacious for my family. I love that they had the option of a crib so we didn’t have to bring ours. The breakfast was amazing! It was so fresh and a good amount of options for it being a free breakfast. The staff was so kind in the dinning area as well. I would definitely stay here again! :) and it was close to Disneyland which was a perk!

The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Room was clean & Quiet. Breakfast was to end at 9:30 am on Sunday, and the 3 Meal room & lobby coffee pots were empty, but staff were quick to replenish one. Variety of breakfast foods was excellent.
