At Best Western Knoxville Airport / Alcoa, TN, guests repeatedly highlight the convenient airport location with a handy shuttle, welcoming staff who often go above and beyond, and mostly comfortable rooms and beds, making it practical for overnight stops and early flights.

Many also appreciate the included breakfast and overall value. Recurring downsides include musty or mildew odors, occasional pests such as mice or bugs, and maintenance issues like patchy Wi‑Fi, dated or unreliable TVs, and pool areas that can be cold, dark, or unclean. Door‑slamming and other guest noise are noted at times. Expect a convenient, budget‑minded airport stay with warm service but uneven upkeep.

Our stay was great. When we checked in we asked about the shuttle to the airport and what time we would need to be there. The front desk person told us if we left at 4:30AM we would be good. So we got down stairs to take the shuttle and the front desk person asked if we needed breakfast, we said if it was available we would love it. So she opened the breakfast area at 4:15 so we could eat prior to leaving for the airport. She was awesome. Also this is a perfect place to stay as the airport was less than a 5 min drive from motel! Great place to stay and the staff went above and beyond what was expected!

I had to be moved to a different room because of a mouse issue in my room. And then the next night, my sister and her husband had to be moved from their room because of mice. I did not see any nor did they in the new room, but the thought was there every night. The ice machines were broken on all floors so that was just an inconvenience.

Every interaction I had with the front desk employees were great! They were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable except for what we found in the microwave... The downside is that the room was not clean. A previous occupant left two sausages in the microwave and the cleaning person missed it along with other small pieces of garbage found in all of the corners of the room.

The WiFi was not working in the room. When we asked the staff, they said it's like that on the 3rd floor and nothing can be done about it. When I turned the heater on for a minute, there was a strong smell which set off the fire alarms. Also, breakfast was not good for vegetarians.

I chose this property for its proximity to the airport. That accounts for the very commercial setting: gas stations, fast food restaurants, businesses that support airport operations. The rooms were clean and comfortable however for this stay my room was located near some kind of very big equipment that roared to life every other hour through the night. It was LOUD and vibrated the space so I did not get good rest.

The people that were staying were very loud on the first floor the two nights we stayed and nobody did anything about it. I think they were there for an extended period of time. They played their music loud and were drinking out in the parking lot the night before and the next morning, they just left the pile of cans in the landscaping in the back. The breakfast was not good. The hot water was not hot, the coffee container was empty, the hot breakfast was empty, and the pancake maker wasn't working. Our room had a distinct smell that never went away.
