I understand that they may have their policies but when I booked at that place I read everything and it did not say anything about an additional charge for pets and cleaning. I had to pay $75 more for that for just one night. The purpose of choosing that hotel was precisely because of my pet, so believe me I read everything very well and that fee was not in the information. Also, the receptionist (a blonde and quite old lady) was a bit rude to me. Even explaining everything and telling her that my dog had a cage, she was not courteous to me and she was rude. I must also say that the bathtub in room 209 was horrible. My dog got 2 ticks in that place which he has never had and the place in general seems seedy. Everything dirty and neglected in its surroundings. I would never go back to that place even if it was for free.
