I stayed here with my daughter to go visit University of Scranton. It was 3 minutes away and it offered breakfast fro a minimal fee which was great to have. Hotel is older but very well kept and clean pool on 1st floor as well as Gym. Parking was tricky for an additional 15.00 a night not on site but next door. I parked on the street for free. I highly recommend it you stay here if you need a clean comfortable safe place to stay.

Easy check in and front desk staff was very helpful with parking and dining options nearby. Great lobby bar - live jazz in the evening was terrific. The best part was how quiet the room was. We didn't have breakfast but it looked good.

It was pretty old and could use some updating. There was mold on our shower curtain and our toilet was clogged when we checked in. Fine for a night but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer.

The hotel staff were wonderful, and the buffet breakfast was great! However, the room I was given had nasty, stained, dirty, rucked up carpet, and there was mold in the shower. For what I paid, and the reputation of the Hilton, I expected better.

The property main areas are well kept but the rooms and hallway to the rooms, at least on floor 3, was very rundown. Tiles were missing in the bathroom. Hallway to the room and the room carpeting was stained and dirty! The bathroom mirror was streaked and not clean. There was a puddle of water around the toilet tank, yuck. Worst of all, I asked that the bathroom floor be cleaned, mirror be cleaned and even the refrigerator emptied out as it had open soft drink cups in it. When I returned to my room that evening the floor was dry but stained so not sure it was cleaned. The mirror was not cleaned and the refrigerator still had the last guest’s drinks in it. GROSS When I spoke to the staff the next morning I was told there was nothing they could do because I booed with a third party and was not interested in seeing the images I took. Unfortunately, this property is not holding up the Hilton brand standards or that what I think your company expects. I would like some sort of compensation and although I will be traveling to this area multiple times a year I will not we staying at this property.

The front desk was friendly, however the price I paid for the room I was extremely disappointed the room smelled like a locker room the shower didn’t drain properly the carpet was stained and looked very dirty the ac didn’t work properly I will not use this hotel again if I come back to Scranton and I would not recommend it.

The hotel itself is nice with an amazing history that I read from a picture on the wall with a picture of the original owner and a description of how this hotel came into being. The room was nice and the pillows and bed I felt were comfortable. I wish they had a combo trash/recycle can in the room and I wished they had a coffee/tea station in the lobby would have been nice (I don't drink hot tea from a coffee maker in the room, taste like coffee!) I was pleased to find a refrigerator for leftovers and drinks. The room was dated with the curtains, decor, and the headboard was showing some signs of wear from pillows pressed up against it, as a person sitting up in bed watching TV. The TV was easy to use with a lot of channels. The room and bathroom were nice and clean.

Staff are very friendly here. Room with 2 queen beds was ok. Carpet was a little dirty at baseboards but otherwise good. There was a wedding and it was very noisy on the second floor but room on second floor was fairly sound proof. Next time I would ask for a higher floor. There was water in the room but breakfast is extra.

We stayed one night to do The Office walking tour. The front desk staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. The hotel is right downtown and is walking distance to many things. The hotel itself is dated and old. The beds are doubles and not queens. It would be great if they did a Reno on the rooms. The washrooms are old and the carpets are stained.

Very nice room, spaciousness. Some street noise, but that's to be expected. Comfortable bed, nice size bathroom. Easy parking. Like most hotels, not enough light in the bathroom. I wish they would consult women when designing hotel rooms. Many times we are there for special occasions that require enough lighting to do makeup and hair. In all my travels I can count on one hand hotel bathrooms that have not only good lighting, but barely adequate lighting. Having said that, we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was neat and clean. Bar food and service was excellent. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise with very good food at a reasonable price. Our only minor complaint was the bathroom shower....not enough water pressure. Otherwise the bathroom was excellent. All of the staff that we encountered were very pleasant and quite helpful. I would stay here again without any reservations or qualms.

Very convenient hotel to University of Scranton. Parking is easy in garage across the street. Rooms are a very good size and in ok condition (some wear and tear was in bathroom - eg missing paint and towel rack broken). The woman at front desk was very rude which is surprising as have stayed here many times and service is usually very friendly.

Not responsive. We hit bad weather and wanted to change our stay to another Hilton property in Albany. Expedia tried to facilitate but could not get an answer from the Hilton in Scranton. I have tried to call the hotel directly as well as the Hilton corporate number and could not receive any assistance. Very disappointing.

Angela once again provided service above and beyond expectations. This woman could teach a masterclass in what it takes to delight and amaze travellers. Hilton take note of this young woman’s skillset. I believe you have an in house trainer. You would be wise to leverage Angela’s empathetic approach to welcoming and assisting guests.

I stayed for just one night, it was nice to have a free shuttle from the airport. The room was clean and tidy and spacious. I rated 3 stars because I booked the shuttle from the hotel to the airport at 0430am, I was at the lobby by 0425am and there was no one, no shuttle, no driver, no receptionist at the front desk, I called out a few times and then booked an Uber. The lady had filled out a complete form for the shuttle, with my flight details, the night before.

We are local to this hotel. We stayed 1 night as we lost power. People in tire area are not known for being too friendly. Honesty, if i didn't know better, I wouldn't have thought I was still in Scranton. The young man at the desk (I believe his name was Tyler) was fantastic. Very friendly, willing to do anything to help us. The cook at the breakfast place also so nice to my young daughter. Everyone was really great. Bartender at the restaurant ( long haired gentleman) also very accommodating. Not to mention makes the best espresso martini! We will definitely be back again.

Comfortable, quiet stay in a historic downtown area. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The airport shuttle service was why we booked at this hotel and was very appreciated. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Restaurants and shopping without n walking distance.

We had a very nice stay at the Hilton during La Festa Italiana. The location is perfect for attending the event. The staff was all very friendly, helpful, and professional. We really enjoyed our room. The parking garage, although not attached, was very easy to navigate and access to the Hilton from the garage was a breeze.

Had a meal in the restaurant . I got bigger charge on my visa then actual bill on my visa. Don’t expect this from a chain like Hilton hotel. Not happy. Charged my visa 59 dollars bill was lot less.

My food was wrong when I ordered at the bar I had no lights that worked in my room the bed was really comfortable and the front desk was really helpful I just think the people working at the bar need a little more training I told them twice I didn’t order the brisket sandwich and still got was given it
