We stayed here a few times before. It was clean but a litttle dated. and for the most part quiet. They are short staffed and the bar was not always open , so you never know when it will be open.We enjoyed the fire pit last time we were there and this time they said it was broke so we had to sit in the bar area to hang out . Hopefully they fix it for next time. It is convenient to Montage and works well for a large party. It is close to resturants and shopping center. Will most likely stay again next year and hope fire pit is working and more staff to help out.

Plenty of free parking, Breakfast is not included. No bathroom amenitties kept in room. Room is not renovated - it is older property; excellent view of the woods - loved the quiet peace.

Bed liked like someone sleep in Furniture ripped bugs in lamps. Dirty. Second room. They tried to give me Mattterss had stains and table desk nasty dirty. Couch dipped too.

When we checked in the receptionist wasn't the nicest or most welcoming. You could definitely tell that she did not want to be there. The really stated was decent. They were details that were left unnoticed my housekeeping. The bathtub had some other people's hair in it, the countertops had some stains and crumbs. It was noticeable that the carpet had not been vacuumed. There was also a mildew smell throughout the building. We stayed here one night, as we were passing through. The pool area was okay. The pool definitely needed some TLC. The bottom of the pool was discolored making the water seem discolored as well. There were no towels so I had to go to the front desk and ask the woman for towels. She also gave me a bit of an attitude. However, there were a few highlights to this property. They had an outdoor patio with a fire and a restaurant.

Long black straight hairs was on the pillows and the bed sheet, in the sink, on the shower wall, and on the new bed sheet that I requested upon arrival also had hair on it. Upon arrival the bed sheet was dirty and had a big yellow stain!

Good location but this is a very old tired building. Marriott has fixed up the rooms nicely but the layout of the rooms, especially bathrooms, is small and not up to modern standards; virtually no room for wife to put on make-up, one small sink located outside the bathroom, step in tub shower.There are better hotels nearby. This one is cheaper for a reason.

This hotel was clean and fine for our overnight stay. Our TV could not get Netflix or any of the streaming services. Amanda came to our room and tried to fix it but could not get it to work. They offered to move us to a different room and also gave me pints in my Marriott account to make up for the trouble. The hotel has a nice fire pit that we enjoyed in the evening. The best part of the stay was Amanda who literally runs around the hotel at top speed providing excellent service.

The hotel lobby was nice and clean. The desk clerk was friendly. Check in and check out process was fast and easy. The room was spacious, stylish, and clean (looked like the photos). The only complaint is the bathroom needs updating. It doesn’t match the rest of the room. It was clean overall but the shower/rub had a few rusted water spots and the caulk was coming apart in some areas. Not a huge complaint but it was noticeable. Overall, I would stay again.

Everyone was so amazingly nice at the property. The lobby area was welcoming and modern. My wife and I totally took advantage of the lounge chairs set up in front of the TV. Its a great place to relax or socialize. The rooms were a little old. But we had a balcony and great water pressure. We tend to prefer older hotels because they have thicker walls (aka they're quieter) and openable windows (aka access to fresh air).

We arrived two hours later than our check in time and they could not find my reservation. It seemed like they canceled it due to us not showing up at 4 to check in. Therefore we were not able to get a king bed and ended up with two queen beds. We tried calling the hotel directly to give them a heads regarding our arrival time but they never picked up.

Front desk clerk was not very nice to customers. There was a problem with the room (only 2 beds) and we selected a room for 5 adults. She basically said. Not my problem, and blamed Expedia. Once I was able to talk to the manager, she found a room for us but when we went to the room it was not for 5 people. Had to go back down as the phone wasn’t working. She finally found us an appropriate room. The mgr was very apologetic but he receptionist did have a bad attitude. Had to call down for more towels, sheets and pillows for the pullout couch and they were too busy to bring them up. Had to go down in my nightgown to pick items up twice. There was definitely not enough staff for the amount of people staying at the hotel. I have had better service at a Red Roof Inn and paid much less.

Road way entrance needs additional entrance sign posted 200 feet prior to standard entrance located on a curve with insufficient sight distance traveling north and a sign posted on roadway south 300 feet indicating left turn required. The double lane roadway is heavily travelled at times due to shopping malls nearby. It’s necessary to prevent sudden stops due to over shooting entrance even at 30 mph or clientele overreaction as they pass or cannot see entrance while negotiating a curve. Hazardous entrance can only be a liability. Never in my traveling years have I experienced such an egress. Left turn exits has egregious sight distance north and south for the road way traffic volume and speed. Liability is immense.

First and foremost the access to the property is extremely dangerous especially when trying to leave. Terrible visibility we were almost struck by a car. Second, the room smelled like an armpit so badly i had to spray perfume all over the bed just to be able to sleep . The direction to the elevators is not marked . When we asked for directions the staff was rude .

Great setup and beautiful amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. I was very happy with the room and the location. Besides a difficult entrance to find, with a very sharp turn into the only entrance/exit, everything else was perfect! It’s tucked into a sharp, tight and blind corner, that is a little bit hard to find and get in or out of. Takes more than one try… Not a big deal… otherwise highly recommended!

The driveway for the property is blind both coming and going, especially bad during higher traffic hours. First time arrival, you will see the driveway before you're ready to turn. Leaving the property you will need to either, blindly turn right and climb the hill to a traffic light and make a u-turn or blindly take you life in your hands and make a left across two lanes of unseen traffic into two lanes of traffic coming down a fairly steep hill. I won't be staying again. It's too dangerous!

Great location for visiting family across the street at the Glenmaura Senior Living Facility as well as for skiing Montage Mountain. Area restaurants are excellent. Hotel is okay - could use an update:. Exercise equipment was broken, the refrigerator in our room was full of ice, hairdryer sounded like a diesel engine that was about to catch on fire, and the stairwell had a water leak - everything else was great.

Staff was friendly and frantic at the same time. Not enough staff! the restaurant was Closed for dinner one night and breakfast the next morning and the Elevator was broken. Other than that it was very nice clean Good location if you are a skier Nice shopping center with good restaurants a little further up.

Everyone here is great. Really. However, No one at the bistro knew what to do. Soup was cold, BLT had no B, salad had no dressing, etc. they were very nice but I think they might have been filling in for the regular staff.

I would have given all excellent ratings except for their Bistro. There were no price posting for wine of there menu food. A glass of wine was double what I would normally pay.They only excepted credit cards and there credit card machine did not show any charges with no receipts. Questionable practices I believe.

the property was quiet and felt safe, but for the price per night the breakfast in the morning was very poor. very few choices and what food was there was cold, eggs were prepackaged and no taste. no danish or choices of cereal, coffee was bitter. would not stay there even tbkugh it waseasy off and kn I-81.

The room are Ok. The breakfast was disappointing, no buffet and limit order menu. Staff was not at the coubter when we arrived and we had a delay of 15 minutes just for coffee. We wanted to get on the road. We paid ahead for breakfast not knowing, we had to order and wait for serve. An allergy to eggs left little options gad we stated to order. We tried several times to book at the Fairmont marriot next door on the expedia site and kept being redirected to this property. Thinking we were bookjng the other. We tried again the next day and we were not redirected. Confusing. We would not book marriot option again but the bed where comfortable.
