The location and price were great. The clerk at check in (we got there late due to delayed flight) was EXCELLENT. The room was updated and very nice. The shuttle did not show up. We had to buy an Uber (said there had been a death in the family so they would not get there until 200 am but we landed late already at 1230 am). We killed two roaches (one in the shower and one in the room). We put our stuff off the floor and kept the room ice cold (they apparently don't like that). We are sealing our bags at home for a week to kill them before we bring them in. But for the bugs, it is a great value

Bare bones facility. Listing stated microwave and refrigerator in room but staff had no idea if rooms had a fridge. No microwaves, only one in lobby window to use for everyone. Clammy room and tub had a hole in it, no idea if it leaked. Doors didn't close all the way either, room for and bathroom door. Maintenance is a complete afterthought. Only book if necessary for a cheap stay.

This Motel 6 is a short distance from Philadelphia International Airport and that is its greatest strength. Check-in was easy and fast. The rooms, the sheets, and the towels are clean. Sounds from other rooms are muffled, but still softly audible. The lighting is bright but harsh. There are no rugs, which is not necisarily a flaw, but ads to the starkness of the room. There is plenty of space, but only the bed to sit on. The early-morning shuttle was punctual and the driver was exceptionally friendly and upbeat, which is welcome after a gruelling day of postponed flights. This is a convenient and highly economical hotel.

It was an okay stay. The floors were pretty dirty (my feet were black after walking around a little). The reservation said there was a microwave and fridge in each room, so we brought food that needed to be refrigerated and heated. There was no fridge or microwave. When I brought this to the attention of the attendant, he just shrugged and said they knew it was mis-advertised. That was it. It was very frustrating.

Room smelled like urine and cigarettes, even though it was a Non-smoking room. Poorly cleaned by staff, you can see dirty-water streaks on the tv, countertops and mirrors. The sheets had paw prints on them and the pillows had human hair strands on them. Would not recommend, but also understand that price per service is also relative.

I checked in at 2am By 3am (1 hour later I had checked out and reported it to Orbitz on the chat. 1. Strong Marijuana smell in the room 2. Blood stains on sheets 3. Cockroaches in the room (this was the last straw) I took pictures and submitted them. Please consider issuing a refund. I tried working with the hotel staff. I was tired at 2am and didn’t want to go anywhere else. The staff gave me clean sheets. The staff also noted the strong marijuana smell. I didn’t want to get a smoking charge. (My wife and I do not smoke) but the cockroaches was the last straw. I will NOT sleep with cockroaches roaming the sheets and bed at night

I like that it is located in a semi isolated location with very little traffic. What I didn’t like was that the room that I was assigned is located across from the front desk. I had very little sleep due to the noise of car doors and trunks slamming, car alarms indicating the vehicle is locked or unlocked, and customers loudly conversing in front of the vending machine outside of the front desk. The floor of my room was dirty and needed a good mopping.

When I first arrived, the front desk staff told me that I didn't have a reservation, even though I showed them my confirmation number and had called earlier in the day to let them know I would be arriving late and they had no trouble finding my reservation. After about 15-20 minutes, my reservation was somehow "found". When I arrived to my room, it was obvious that someone had been in it. One of the beds was unmade, the towels were wet, and there was urine in the toilet. It was absolutely disgusting. I was told that there were no other rooms available. My flight left in only 6 hours and it was well after midnight, so I slept on top of the covers in the made bed. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Avoid Motel 6 Philly Airport at all cost! The grumpy front desk lady tried to say I didn't pre-pay, even though I paid through Orbitz. She forced us to pay $40 for parking, even though it is listed as free parking and free ROUNDTRIP airport shuttle. She wanted $96 at first... I reserved a non-smoking room with 2 beds. First room reeked of smoke, and had an ashtray, sheets and towels were dirty, cracks in ceiling, stained tub, sketchy parking. When I complained, the lady claimed that I reserved smoking, until I showed her the Orbitz reservation, then she claimed it was a non-smoking room. 2nd room she gave us still smelled like smoke, and only had 1 bed. Third room was so-so, but it was late and we were exhausted, but we didn't get any sleep, because people were in the parking lot talking, partying, yelling, knocking on doors, and honking horns all night. Orbitz customer service was not helpful at all either. Terrible experience, horrible service, disgusting rooms, bad location, all around terrible. The airport shuttle driver was friendly and prompt, so he was the ONLY positive. NO ONE should EVER book at room there again, and Orbitz NEEDS to remove this motel from their site. I also will never book through Orbitz again.

Upon checkin I was informed that my card had declined through expedia and was required to pay. When I checked my credit card later I could see that I was both charged through expedia and Motel 6. I then requested a receipt to help prove the double charge but was informed that "their system was down" and they would email me a receipt. The receipt never came and the duplicate charge remained. The room had stains on the wall reminiscent of either blood or other body fluids. The bathroom door also would not close as it had been painted over too many times.

Not a good experience, we definitely don’t recommend this hotel. Check in took 30 minutes, trying 5 different rooms and more than 20 keycards, before we finally got into a room. There were no blankets on the bed, only sheets, and we had to ask for them. There was only 1 large towel, not even bath size, and no shampoo. Paint was peeling from the walls and ceiling and the floors were so dirty our bare feet turned brown walking on them. The woman at the front counter was very nice and I felt sorry for her, and it was a convenient shuttle to the airport.

Pictures of this motel are deceitful because this looks nothing like the pictures. The rooms are filthy, i took a shower, walked across the room from the bathroom, my feet were black, so i had to wash my feet again. There are no amenities like fridge, microwave housekeeping is unheard of. Someone might go through your room use a spray, shut off your TV but that's the extent of housekeeping. There are items from a previous guest, the beds made me feel like they shook the sheets out and remade the beds. The front door you can see daylight through, the deadbolt barely reaches the latch. There appears to be feces on the bathroom door and just under the bathroom light switch. There's evidence of mice because i had mice tracks in my towels. I don't go out much after 2100 for safety reasons. I am able to drive my personal car to most food restaurants because they don't deliver to motels in the area. Would i stay here again probably not without first seeing if anything has changed or if im stuck for a place then maybe 1 night then move on.
