I was happy with everything except for two things 1) The room smell wasnt too good. Luckily i had room spray. 2) During my stay I was delivered a letter that said they would be painting outside my room the next morning and that I would need to keep my blinds drawn and the AC off. I didnt really like that. I think as a paying guest they shouldn't be working outside my room while I was staying there. It was also a warm weekend and the AC was needed. Luckily, we were planning on checking out early that day. Everything else was great though.

It is a good hotel, it’s comfortable, the staff was friendly and everything was clean. They offer free breakfast but it finishes at 9:00 am, which I thought was a bit early. I arrived late around 8:00 pm and had no problems to check in. The hotel bar had very limited food options and had to leave the hotel to look for dinner. Overall good condition for the price

The beds were comfortable, the hotel was OK , I just wasn't impressed, I thought when I booked this room it said the hotel had a restaurant and pool , the pool was closed for 2 years according to an employee and other then the bar and the breakfast which was not really great , there was no restaurant, I'll own it as I may just have confused it with another hotel, the lighting in the room was horrible, it was like nightlights, and the cable kept going out . For the price I paid I would have chosen a hotel with more amenities and better light

The room was clean enough, but the carpet had holes all through it and we were able to hear perfectly anything that the people in the room next to us were saying/doing. The bar and pool were closed and the area shuttle was not running. The hotel location was inconvenient. It is not near anything. It was okay for a night but would not recommend for multiple nights.

The hotel was very nice but we chose this hotel because it showed on their website they had a very nice indoor pool. My grandsons were very excited to swim only to find out when we called the front desk to find out where the pool was located, the gentleman at the desk said you do not have a pool. Please do not advertise something you do not have.

The property is right off the road - very convenient It is very clean, staff are incredibly friendly, there is water and coffee out in the lobby, good coffee and breakfast and the rooms are perfect. So clean and comfortable.

The first room we were put in smelled so bad of cigarette smoke despite the non-smoking sign on the door. We had to request a new room. There were stains in the sofa, the tub wouldn’t drain and when I tried pulling up the drain stopper and it was completely clogged with hair. The dresser in the room was broken My kid got sick all over the bed and I removed the bedding so housekeeping didn’t have to touch it. The waterproof cover wasn’t waterproof and my son’s vomit went right into the mattress through the holes in the backing of the waterproof sheet. Luckily I bright Clorox wipes to clean it. It the mattress was stained from other guest. Main issue at this hotel was its cleanliness

The housekeeping Manager should be ashamed of themselves and their staff. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Also the room furniture is very dusty. Housekeeping is what why this hotel get a bad reputation

While the hotel itself was fine, our room could have used some TLC. For the price, the wallpaper in the bathroom was lifting at the seams, the showerhead had either paint or caulk blocking some of the holes, and the tub downspout moved when you pulled on the bar to move the water to the shower. ALSO- there was nothing on the reservation site that indicated we'd be next to the elevator control room. We listened to the elevator ALL DAY/ALL NIGHT! Like living next to a train station,

Our room was to be ready at 3pm. We arrived at 5pm and it was still not ready. We waited 45 minutes and were eventually switched from the 2 queen bed room we booked to a king and pull out sofa. The wifi was down duing our entire stay. We were told breakfast would be surved until 10:00am. We went down for breakfast at 9:30 and were told it was closed and they were cleaning up an putting it away. Dispite have the AC set to 68 degrees the room was very humid and the carpet felt damp.

Assigned room on 2nd floor in room that overlooked the parking garage. Woke up many times during the night to loud muffler, honking, etc from parking garage. Room had a musty smell to it and pillows smelled like smoke. Stains on carpet, phone, nightstand. Won’t be staying again or recommending to others staying in or near Tarrytown.

The hotel was very clean, the staff very helpful however the room was so dark with subtle but not helpful lighting we couldn't see well at night. The light in the vacinity of the bathroom sink not in the ceiling over the sink so that it was impossible to use to put on makeup or or brush your teeth. The light over the desk area was the only good lighting but wasn't too useful if you wanted to read in bed or see yourself over a sink. The TV was situated on a curved wall with not enough room to put seating in front of it so it had to be rotated slightly, but not enough to get a full screen, if you wanted watch in bed. The breakfast was ok and just as you would expect. All & all not a bad stay as was very clean and very helpful staff, but would request a different room if coming again.

The gentleman who checked us in was incredibly nice and friendly. We were able to get in a bit early and drop off our luggage before going around town. The woman who was the bartender that evening was incredibly unfriendly. Never smiled. Did not talk, or even ask what we wanted. She just sat on a stool watching a movie.

I sent an email to the property manager and have not heard from him. While we were staying at this hotel, there was maintenance either on the outside or windows by our hotel room. We returned one day to see a worker perched on scaffolding outside our window and removing paper that apparently covered it while working outside. We would have liked to have known about this so that we could either close curtains/drapes or request another room. We would have welcomed a notice or conversation about the work being done outside our hotel room window. When we checked out the representative at the front desk offered the managers card and explained that there should have been a note under our door. (We did not get one)

I had a terrible experience with springhill suites tarrytown. I arrived at the hotel at 2am and that's when I found out that my room was unavailable due to a water issue, and that I had to go to another hotel for only one night when I reserved two nights. They lack communication and hospitality.

Their website says check in time is 3:00 but then sadly when you get here they say 3:00 is not guaranteed. One man at the front desk was rude about it and spoke to me very condescending but another man helped us finally get checked in. We had an event to get to so check in at 3 was important to us! Stay here often and all is good so was disappointed with the front desk this time!

Staff very pleasant and helpful With the exception of one Assistant Manager who Needs retraining in Customer Relations and front Desk guest interactions. Informed manager of this assistant managers, and emailed manager who reportedly bumped it up to the GM. Got no response. Had to ask several times for the room to be cleaned. Use my own cleaning supplies to bring it up to a comfortable level I could rest. No financial allowance for these issues Don’t think I’ll be staying there again.

Just stayed here for a night to take the train into NYC the next morning. Great restaurant right across the street, safe and walkable. 5 minutes to the Tarrytown train station. Great free breakfast and staff was very helpful. Pull out couch was comfortable and room was clean. Would definitely stay again.

Big room however terribly dark, needs way more light. Hairs stuck on shower walls before we used it so not ours. But probably the worst part is they were dishing out ham egg croissants and the egg was still fridge cold in places. I tried to make one of the staff aware the egg wasn’t heated properly on my husband and mine therefore a whole batch most likely. His reply was, they were frozen and we’re closing soon so that’s all we have. It was 8:40 and the place was packed and still plenty of time for lots of people to grab something. I informed him it’s a health risk, he reiterated it’s all they have….clearly they don’t understand food safety or care about it.

Our room smelled like lysol but there were some mystery hairs in the shower. Room was very spacious. Check in staff was kind. The lobby bar was closed, no sign or reason why. Someone from the front desk was behind the bar and a man asked for a drink and she responded by saying “we aren’t getting into that tonight” and walked away. I though it was rude. There were 3-4 people on the front desk at 7pm didn’t understand why they couldn’t open a beer for this man when the had bud light in the hotel “store”
