The amenities listed in the websites on pool hours and restaurant on site for dinner and bar is not correct, It never said that Saturday is observed as as a Sabbath day so hours for pools is limited and the restaurant does not serve breakfast. The daily breakfast is not included there is a fee of $31.97 per person for buffet and it’s not a lot of choices.

Pros: clean and spacious room. Across the street from a bus stop. Cons: I did not know that if you don't reserve a room directly from their site (for double the price) you don't get any breakfast. You have to buy from their restaurant. No free food whatsoever. Also, I found the whole hotel too brown. Everything in the room and hotel is brown and could use upgrades. I also was told there are walking paths ... There isn't. The pool was not heated and sauna not working.

The staff were very responsive, friendly, and accessible. Plan to have a car at all times while visiting or make use of ride share - the hotel is located away from nearby restaurants and services. Call ahead to inquire about access to the bar and restaurants on site. We were planning to take advantage of those hotel services but there was a private event happening so we had no access to use hotel restaurants/bars, etc.

This is our go to hotel when visiting NYC. Clean, comfy and friendly staff. POOL IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. Disappointed this time around as the pool was closed and it was not advertised anywhere. The pool is a big hit with the little ones.

Hotel was clean, front desk friendly, room spacious. Room housekeeping so-so, missed a day, did not replenish coffee pods, cups. Shower was good. Decor was dated but that’s okay as long as it’s clean. Biggest disappointment was the restaurant was not open, Friday and Saturday and not until 5pm on Sunday. Had to leave hotel to get breakfast, etc.

Loved the way the entire property smelled and the lobby was beautiful but the rooms were a bit outdated, you had to rent the microwave for the rooms, food specially breakfast was a bit pricey especially for not having meat on the menu and the times pool was open were horrible

Found a bed bug on the pillow as I was packing to leave. Had checked the bed etc at beginning of stay but must have missed something. Let the front desk know. Appears like they were going to look into it. Room was older and definitely needed to be updated.

The two staff members I interacted with were very pleasant and genuinely seemed to care. The beds were very comfortable. That ends the good things. The worse was there was there was no hot water to take showers in the AM. We even waited up to an hour for it to get hot but we needed to get on the road. Since my husband was going to drive, he took a cold shower. They left 3 regular coffee packets and one decaf and only 2 creamers. So I had the decaf because that is what I have to drink and my husband had one regular. Coffee was pretty good, just not the proper ratio. The room was OK but dated. The rug really need to be cleaned and there was another persons hair in the bathroom sink. The wall in the shower showed signs of mold that I am allergic to There was a big wedding going on and parking was at a premium. The check-in person put us in a room where we could park close by, so another plus. This all might not have been the norm, but it's what I had to rate with. I was offered to go to the restaurant for coffee but waiting behind a bunch of other rude guest who barged in front of you, we just needed to get on the road. If they get these issues taken care of, we might stay there again as it is close to family and was a reason we had selected it. If not, then we will find someplace else. They need to close down different sections and do deep cleaning.

The room is so dirty, the bathroom is filled with mold, the toilet was not cleaned properly ( the back was filled with urine) and tables are dirty and everything is dusty. I had to clean the room last night and ask someone to come clean the bathroom which they did in minutes. It’s disgusting

The appearance of the rooms and hotel was good but when we entered the room there was a bad odor. Turning on the air conditioning there was a bad mold smell which lasted the entire night. It was most unpleasant. The layout of the hotel is very confusing

The bathrooms are a disaster, the faucet kept running and the handles were broken. The tub was disgusting, dirty drains with no stoppers, caulk peeling from the walls and bathroom vents hanging out of the ceiling. We switched rooms and that room had similar issues. Beds were made but it looked like the sheets were old and not washed. Sadly we left and didn't stay the night. Never before have we been so uncomfortable that we couldn't stay in the room or the hotel for that matter. On top of all that, the hotel had a big event with noisy people running back and forth down the hallways. Just a really bad situation and we had to eat the cost.

Very disappointing stay at this property! From old, soiled and worn furniture in the lobby to piles upon piles of used sheets/towels aligning the hallway to my room. The room had a lumpy comforter on the bed, handles missing in the bathroom and residual urine stains on the toilet bowl seat! The refrigerator and several lights were not plugged in.

The second night was fine, but the first night was terrible. There was a wedding happening in the hotel. The wedding had music so loud it could be heard all throughout the hotel. I first tried to call the front desk, but my phone did not work, so I had to go to the front desk. The person at the desk told me the music is supposed to stop at 10pm, but it was already after 10pm. So I decide to patiently wait a while and see if the music would stop. At 11pm, it was still going. I went back to the desk and spoke to the manager, who had the attitude at first of "I can't tell them to stop. It's a wedding. What do want me to do." I told him I can't imagine others in the hotel are enjoying trying to sleep in a dance club. He then offered to move me to supposedly a quieter room. It's 11pm and he wants me to move my stuff to another room. Luckily, the music stopped, so I did not move rooms.

The hotel is showing its age. The furniture is a bit shabby. Old style bathroom facilities with the sink in the room with the toilet. The TV had a hotel wide issue selecting channels for a few hours (not weather related). There would be a charge to get a microwave in the room. Desk personal were not friendly or helpful. We requested a late checkout (1.5 hour) due to a doctor changing the time of an appointment. When I called the day of the reservation, I was told that the desk could determine if we could get the late checkout when we checked in and they could not answer the question over the phone. When we checked in we were informed there would be a charge.

The toilet was running on & off all night. The room was cold & temperature on the thermostat didnt adjust. I went to shower before I left this morning and there was no hot water. Other than that bed & pillows were very comfortable. Staff was great. The young man at the counter was new and looked very overwhelmed. How do you have just 1 person at the front desk on a holiday? Especially someone new. And I'm disabled, I had to walk and carry my bags to the 4th floor. Elevator not in Service? No one told me i could park on the side which was closer to my room. What happens if you have a guest with a wheelchair? They young man at the desk also told me twice my card was declined when it actually went through. So we tried again and he was still saying it was declined and I used another card. So i know the holds come off. But i was charged 3 x on 2 different cards.

I was surprised by how many things went wrong with our room. The toilet wouldn't flush, we couldn't get the TV to work. Half the time our rooms keys wouldn't work. The face of our entertainment stand was covered in God only knows what. Our room was either 66 or 74 degrees, no rhyme or reason. Lastly, the windows were kind of just open. But the hotel itself is very pretty. The breakfast buffet was well worth the 20$ and the hotel is right in the thick of everything. I would stay again, even though I felt over charged for the room.

We have stayed here previously and had a wonderful stay, but after this stay we will not be back again. This stay was awful. The room, while very clean, had broken windows and screens. The toilet barely flushed and the shower was only providing boiling hot water - and the faucet mechanism felt like it was going to pull out of the wall. There was a constant drip in the tub no matter what we did. The other guest’s children were screaming and running up and down the hallways until well after 1am each night. There was garbage and messes left everywhere in the hallways and in the restaurants. Food was never cleaned up and put away after an evening dinner service. We mentioned this to the staff and they never even responded to my follow up email regarding all of these issues. We were extremely disappointed.

Place has seen better days. Nothing was terrible but nothing was good either. Center courtyard was nice and well maintained. The hotel itself is very dated. Room was adequate. No coffee in the lobby, just a Keurig charging $3 a cup. Found one ice machine which required a five minute walk. Overall this is more in the class of an interstate roadside hotel, like a Sleep Inn then a place for a nice stay. Functional and nothing more

The facility is clean and elegant. The staff was friendly and kind. Greeted with water and wine. Gregory at the front desk was sweet and we were checked in so smoothly. The only complaint was the dining services were closed. With the area busy this time of year, it would’ve been a huge convenience to have the dining option.

The Front Desk Staff was very friendly and professional and did the best they could to deal with a trying situation - due to understaffing we had to check in 1 hour late. When we got to our room we found that the themostat was not working, we only had 1 glass, there was no decaf coffee and no tongs for the ice bucket. And no welcome book at all telling about the hotel, the area, etc. We did get these things fixed during the night but it was NOT what we expected for what we paid for this room. On the excellent side, the indoor pool was clean and not crowded. On the Not Excellent side, the sauna did not work. Overall, I think this place is understaffed and it shows. However the staff they do have are wonderful, professional and friendly people who are trying very hard to make the visits pleasant.

There was a wedding there that must have reserved the majority of the hotel and there didn’t appear to be enough staff working. Check in took almost half an hour. Overall an average hotel. Nothing fancy but it was clean. Just a bit run down. Broken tiles in bathroom, tv didnt work, etc.

Is a bit overpriced considering it really is just like any other hotel. Breakfast is continental and they charge you for it. But the room was comfortable, bathroom was great and the staff were very friendly. Was also a bit confusing to navigate at first because the property is so big. Great location though, only a few minutes drive from all the tourist sights.

I need to replace most of the carpet in the hotel because of the mildew smell. I appreciate the need for a place that supports Jewish guests with a kosher restaurant. But it would have been good to know ahead of time.

I had dinner at the restaurant and the foods were excellent! However, just a bit pricey $65 for the ribeye steak, well over priced. However, my partner and I came for peace and quiet and the fire alarms went off 3 times in the building which gave us massive headaches, however this was for safety if there were a fire. However, No one came to us or called us to make sure we were ok and while we were outside no one made any announcements of what was happening or to give us directions on where to go and when it was safe to go back in our rooms. Later on we Found out at the front desk that it was a boiler issue, however the hotel should make better arrangements for emergency issues for the future. Other than that the hotel is very nice and rooms were comfortable.

Booked months ago for a reunion with friends. Planned to go to dinner then hang out at bar all night. When we arrived there was a huge Bar Mitzvah & we were told everything would be unavailable to us. Bar completely closed & no access to restaurant for breakfast. Had to spend a bunch of $$$ for Ubers all weekend. Staff was very nice but I don’t think I will go back. Such a shame as this was our 3rd time here.

Odd and irritating perfume smell throughout including the rooms - very unpleasant and no way to open windows. Very expensive prices in the restaurant and a long, long wait for food at dinnertime.
