Stayed 2 nights

From reservation to check out we had an absolutely flawless stay at The Muse!! The front staff had answers to all of our questions, planned pick ups and drop offs to the airport, had our room ready 2 hours early, brought extra towels, helped with directions and ALWAYS had a welcoming smile on their faces. Our first trip to NYC was amazing thanks to The Muse. We will be back soon!

My fourth time staying at The Muse and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else in Manhattan. Rooms are well kept, shower great, bed super comfy and location? There isn’t a better one I’d argue. On W46th between 6th and 7th Avenue so effectively the madness of Times Square on one side and the shopping heaven of 5th Avenue just a short walk away. Amazing network links for the subway anywhere in the city.

Stayed 5 nights

I'm giving 5 stars because overall it was a great stay! I do, however, have a couple of caveats... Pros: -The room was clean and there was housekeeping service daily! (not so usual anymore) -The elevators always came quickly (not our experience in some other NYC hotels) -The few times we called down to report a minor issue, we immediately got a response and issue was taken care of -Easy access to theaters, subways and walkable to many other areas if you are a walker (downside for me was having to walk through Times Square constantly, but my husband loves it:) -The lobby is small, but quiet and pleasant with enough seating Cons: -Some street traffic noise from our room location, but it didn't bother us at all -The $40 plus tax daily "resort fee" covers WiFi and fitness center (neither of which we used).. Seems a lot for very little in exchange... -There was no coffee maker in the room and no coffee in the lobby (which might have made the $40 a bit more worth it). When I asked at the desk initially about no coffee, I was told to go to the restaurant...which would have been fine... But not until after I paid for the coffee did I notice that they'd added a 20% tip and then asked if I wanted to leave a tip (which I did since I hadn't noticed!) BUT, upon checkout, when I mentioned the coffee issue, I was told that I could have requested a coffee maker in the room! That's great, but wish someone had told me while we were there! Overall, I do recommend The Muse though!!

Stayed 5 nights

Overall I very much enjoyed our stay. The lobby is beautiful, great little bar/restaurant. The rooms (for NYC specifically) were roomy and very well appointed for the space. The fridge was critical for us for medication and appreciated. I will say, a microwave would have been helpful (really helpful). Overall the staff was great but we did have one issue that was disappointing for the way it was handled but it did not ruin our stay. It’s super conveniently located to time square, broadway, and tons of food options and just off the main crazy of being directly in Time Square. Recommend for pretty much anyone but boutique feeling is great for a girls trip, older kids, or couples.
