We stayed there because it was close to the theater where we saw a play. It has a parking garage in the basement, which is a huge plus. They offer a continental breakfast, while we prefer a hot meal. There is a big problem with elevator capacity: we were on the 6th floor, and on the morning we left, only two elevators were running, and those two went to the top of the building before coming down, so they were full when they got to the 6th floor, and we couldn't get on. So we rode the up elevator to the 22nd floor, and then rode down to the lobby level, and again the elevator was totally full.

Renovations were going on, I paid $900 for 2 nights and this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in NY. I have never paid over $600. This place didn’t have a mini fridge, the air conditioner didn’t work right on a hot weekend, no restaurant, no bar. I am far from happy with my moneys worth of a stay. I won’t stay again.

It was not clear what the remodeling meant beforehand so when we got there we found no restaurant (had to have a grab and go breakfast standing up), no seating at the lobby, and the room was so hot we had to crack open the window on our 18th floor room and have a fan brought up.

Horrible experience!! The air conditioning was not working properly. The bathroom had literal paint peeling on the ceiling. The wallpaper was peeling and discolored. The faucets leaked. 2 of the 4 elevators didn’t work so there were queues to get on them EVERY single time we left and came back. Just awful. Definitely not worth the money.

We stayed there over Labor Day weekend. The room was a dump. The ceiling paint was peeling, there was mold in the shower, you could feel all the springs in the mattress, and to top it off, we saw a rat scurry under a door. The hotel did comp the room for the night we saw the rat, but the hotel was booked, so we were stuck in an overpriced room for two more nights. Hotel management said the hotel was under renovation, so hopefully things are better for future guests. The only positive was that the location was fantastic.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The carpet smelled awful, and I found food under the bed. The bathroom was disgusting, and the air conditioning didn’t work. The bed was broken , and the cleaners even asked for tips to do a better job. I strongly recommend staying away from this place!

The room was very dirty and old . When asked they said since you have booked it on the second party app they cannot give new room . The room standard was not even for 1 star . They had better rooms but didnt give . Now this is making me think should i start booking directly and not through second party app like this . I tried to reach out hotel.co. but only the virtual customer care was available. It turned to be the worst trip. May be its cos i booked with the reward night . The lobby was fine. The girl who checked us in was nice… Other than that it was terrible. Room was dirty. The shower floor was stained yellow. The wire was spliced with exposed wire nuts for the light next to the bed. The bed was awful. We only had 1/3 roll of toilet paper in the entire room and resorted to Kleenex. TV guide did not correspond with the channels. I believe they also charged an extra no refundable fee at the desk when we checked in that we were not made aware of in advance. We have not had a room that bad in a long time.

If I could give less than one star, I certainly would. My stay at this hotel was a nightmare. The carpet had a terrible odor, and I discovered food remnants under the bed. The bathroom was in a filthy condition, and the air conditioning was completely non-functional. The bed was uncomfortable, and the cleaners even asked for tips to improve their service. When I asked to switch rooms, I was told that all the rooms are identical. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

The heater in the room didn’t work initially and overall environment was not peaceful. It was noise all night long whether it’s from guest as well as staff talking in the late night hours such as one 2 AM, hearing the footsteps up and down the hall because of the flooring, hearing peoples conversations and rooms across the hall down the hall and next-door, the bell on the elevator and every door opening and closing. Not peaceful.

The room was incredibly outdated and did not meet expectations for the price--$350 for a room with cracked outlets, half painted chunks of objects and walls, and a hard bed. If the room was $100, I'd say it was a good deal. At the current price, I'd say it was exorbitantly overpriced. You're paying for location here, not quality.

1. The main doors of the room are not in good shape. 2. It says continental breakfast but only provides cupcakes, crossiant, fruits and coffee with a limitation and restriction. 3. The wifi in the room is poor and hardly open up any browser page.

The photos they have advertised are not even close to the actual room we stayed in. Bed was super soft and gave us back issues. Elevators were impossibly slow and shared with housekeeping and bellhop staff. Our AC wouldn’t work and thankfully the maintenance man was able to fix it for us and getting running. In room safe doesn’t work. No hotel bar, but in add shows cocktails. Wouldn’t stay here again but the staff was very kind, fast, and helpful.

There was no ac and u couldnt open the windows. Finding the auto shades to block out the constantly flashing rhings of the ny skyline took forever. And the blackout auto shades didnt work at all.* also nobody wants auto shades. Curtains would have worked fine. We were on the 18th floor( which was an "updated" room). There is no fan in the bathroom so user beware. The people were really nice. Great location for broadway and late night shows. No lobby for people watching. The bed was really comfortable and big. We got the king.

Arrived 3 am, was tired and wanted to check in quickly but was told I had to wait 30 minutes because of regular system audit. Eventually checked in. Few hours later at 7 am some other guest opened the door and tried to enter my room because they were assigned to my room by mistake. Terrible experience.

Always stay here when we visit New York. Would like to give a big shout out to Racquel and Manager Liya. Absolutely oustanding service. Both made mine and my husbands stay special especially as it was his 40th Birthday. Went above and beyond and cannot thank them enough.

Location is great, front desk is slow, breakfast is terrible. They have set breakfast menu and one can choose one fruit, Coffee or bottled juice and a break (pastry etc.), and eat one the go or in your room. My suggestion : if you like it for its location, book without breakfast and spend that breakfast moneys into a near by restaurant (plenty of options around).

Great service. Raquel at the front desk was amazing. She bonded with my daughter over show tunes and Broadway shows. When Carmine’s (which was packed on a Saturday night) didn’t include the plates and flatware I specifically ordered twice with takeout, my daughter said, “Our girl Racquel at the front desk will take care of us. I know this, she and I are friends.” Sure enough, Racquel, who was in the back office section to the right, must have heard us talking to the other associate at the front desk, and appeared like a fairy godmother to equip us with everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Racquel was a perfect “10” to my kids, their friends, and myself on my birthday weekend and her kindness made our stay infinitely more enjoyable!

The hotel is centrally located, we were very pleased with the area, walking distance to Times Square, Broadway and Central Park we took a taxi to the 9/11 Memorial Museum but most of the time we walked. Front desk as well as all employees were very hospitable and friendly, the hotel is under renovation so taking that in consideration overall is was great especially since the room is a very good size only complaint hubby had was the mattress which I'm sure they will change with the remodeling.

Had room on 22nd floor with great view of city. Not far from time square, Central Park, and conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

Expected the breakfast to be better for the price I had to pay. The sink in the bathroom dripped continuously. One of the lights did not work. I suspect this the bulb was burnt out. Did not like the way the shampoo was left in the bathtub. Anyone could’ve opened this container and added anything to it. It was very unsanitary. The room was quiet and clean. The view was good. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Would I stay again ? Yes . Where there issues , yes . Coffee maker in room didn’t work , breakfast is a joke , just skip it and walk to Dunkin’ Donuts around the corner . Seems they are under renovation…. As I found out by hammering and construction noise in my room one morning . Very basic , but the room I had was recently updated and the location is great , so that’s the main reason to stay here on your trip to nyc.

Incredibly overpriced, breakfast was a brown bag with a muffin and coffee, and no place to sit except on your spring bed back in your grab bedroom. The halls had peeling paint in the elevators were very slow with apparently only one working. We were able to check our bags for late departure. Location was good but overall a very bad expensive experience.
