Enjoyed the stay other than no access to ice to be able to have ice water, no fridge or microwave in the room to be able to use our leftovers. Maybe the cost of staying there should’ve been a bit less since we had to pay extra for everything and then waste it since we couldn’t keep it. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Not quite sure how this hotel can claim to be a 4 star hotel but its far from having that status. Thw only thing this hotel has going for it is location. Elevators were some of the smallest ive ever been in, the room wasnt much bigger than the elevator. Our family of 4 were beyond cramped in this little room with 2 beds. The beds frames were so cheap it looked like they came from Wish.com. There was not even an ice machine on any floor or in the hotel for that matter. Ac sucked, hot water sucked, the toilet seat was so loose it was abt to come off. Dont let the lobby fool you, this place is a dump thats in a good location next to Times Square and what they charge per night and parking is a damn joke and is just ridiculous!

Fantastic location near subways and literally steps from Times Square. Staff was incredible--very helpful and any special requests were handled within minutes. The only (VERY) small drawbacks are the tiny elevators(3 people with luggage max) and, like most NYC hotels, there's no mini fridge. However, the OYO doesn't have any ice machines/buckets, so keeping any drinks or leftovers cool is difficult. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel near everything in Times Square. The room was very small which was perfect for our one night stay. The elevators were very busy and needed a few minutes of patience. Serendipity 3 is attached to the hotel which was a great treat. The hotel held our bags after check out so we could walk around until we were ready to leave NYC.

This hotel is in a great location for Times Square. Has a very cute and lovely restaurant attached to it. The doors lock at a certain time and you can use your card to get in to it feels very safe. The room I had was very small, no view, looking out your window you will see the building itself and other guest windows. Elevator is small, there was no refrigerator or coffee pot in the room. The a/c worked wonderful. The staff were all very professional and friendly!

It was a horrible stay. Bugs in shower. Reported it to the front desk night of check in. Was harassed by a guy in the hallway with a uniform they claim it was from the restaurant. Hotel is old and outdated and not in clean condition. The metal bed frame was literally breaking. Stay was horrible. Was promised a return for the stay for my money back not gotten yet. Elevator is super small like 4 people maximum no luggage.

The staff were friendly and helpful, no issues there. The lobby was a bit dingy; there were soiled upholstered chairs that my wife and I did not want to sit in while waiting. The room we checked into was dirty; there were dirty and dusty baseboards, the closet was not painted nicely and had holes in the wall, the walls of the room were smudged, dirty, needed painting, and cracked. The room felt cold and like a storage area. The bathroom was fairly clean but very small. The linens on the bed seemed fairly clean but old and with some stains on them. The towels were thin and not very good quality. We decided to cancel the rest of our stay there and we will not ever come back nor recommend it to anyone.

Just a place to sleep. Room and beds are tiny. Vents were clvered in dust. Window was facing a dirty dark wall. Shower would not drain. Had to turn off after mere seconds of it running to make sure it did not overfliw out. Also the shower basin had black mildew in every corner. All the fun lobby fruniture from the photos were stained and overly worn in. The property overall reflected noticable wear and tear. Sadness.

Room was tired looking, AC was super noisy in excess of 90dcb. Tattered blinds and in general I was disappointed with the room. Not enough to contact reception as it was just a squeaky bed for the 5 nights. I had stayed across the road in July but too the OYO to save some cash. Wish I hadn’t. A noisy fan on the outside of the building as well. Good location.

The hotel is fine, much better than the reviews suggested beforehand, but nothing to go crazy for. The staff were lovely throughout our stay! I thought the $100 per night deposit was quite high, but it was released immediately upon checkout which was great. The room was very small. It didnt even have a wardrobe. The bed was quite uncomfortable and extremely squeeky. We had to ask reception to tighten the bed every day but it didnt really help. So it wasnt necessarily a relaxing stay but was fine as a place to sleep and shower. You really cant fault the location of the hotel for tourism and sightseeing. Its conveniently located nearby all subway lines so its a great base. It doesnt have the perks of higher star hotels, it looks a bit worn down and its a shame because with a bit more investment into the upkeep and quality of the furniture, it could be a great hotel! Overall, the hotel is fine. If you're looking for high quality you will be disappointed but if youre looking for a place to sleep in a really convenient location, OYO is a good option.

I didn't like that the rooms were smaller than the website shows even the bathroom was small it was like being in a airplane bathroom the elevator was extra small and the beds weren't queen size they are actually full size. There was no walk room around the bed. It was a crazy experience i won't stay there again it was just to small everything but the staff was great

Great location and that’s where it stops. Bed was probably one of the worst I have slept in. The AC sounded like a 737 plane was in the room with you. The room was one of the smallest I have ever stayed in. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere fur accommodation.

Nice looking, well situated. However, the lobby was very hot and humid. Between 3-4pm peak check-in there was only one clerk. A lineup had formed and it took a very long time to check in. Also a very loud AC unit in room.

We really loved Maria and Effrin ( bell man) at the desk. She was super helpful. The hotel itself could use a little bit of work. Definitely no frills blinds broken room smelled a little like dirty rags. But the location was great.

We booked a room with double beds for our family of three, but unfortunately, the check-in experience at OYO Times Square left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we had to wait in a long line for approximately 30–45 minutes, as only one check-in counter was open. The staff member assisting us was polite but came across as somewhat cold and indifferent. Although the check-in itself was done quickly, it was clear that our reservation details were not properly reviewed—despite booking (and paying for) a room with double beds, we were assigned a room with only one full-size bed. We immediately returned to the lobby to get this corrected, but were told to wait in line again, resulting in another 20-minute delay. When we finally spoke with the same staff member, she did not offer an apology. Instead, she pointed out that our reservation showed we had "registered" for double beds, but not necessarily "booked" them—this felt like a frustrating and unnecessary technicality, especially since we paid a higher rate for the double beds. Altogether, it took us about an hour from arrival to finally getting into the correct room. While the location is convenient, the check-in process and the lack of accountability from the staff were disappointing. I hope OYO takes this feedback seriously and improves both their booking accuracy and customer service.

You really need earplugs to sleep at night. Not their fault though since it’s right next to times square, but maybe they could upgrade the windows to be more soundproof or provide guests with earplugs. Fortunately, I had mine with me so I slept well, but I can’t imagine being able to sleep with the sound of a horn every 5s. Still, I can’t give a 5 stars review because being able to sleep is a major factor for a hotel.

Location, location, location. The hotel is just off Times Square and near Rockefeller Center. It is convenient but noisy (in fact, they stock earplugs in your room). The rooms are small but efficient.

The place was excellent, because near Times Square and Broadway!　　 But as Japanese, I wanted to get not shower, but Bath tab. Even if it is very small space, there needed Bath tab, so I was very happy. But totally I was very much enjoyed this place. 1 minutes from Times Square, and 3 minutes from Broadway. Not quiate, noisy enough, but it was interesting, it was a real center of Manhattan, New York.!

Building is under major renovations so no restaurant/breakfast. Lobby is nice. Quick check in. $100 security hold plus $50 facility fee by credit card. Room had a king bed, walk in shower (citrus shampoo, conditioner, body wash provided), small closet with a safe! Lights have usb ports to charge devices. 2 blocks from hotel to Radio City Music Hall. About 15min walk from hotel to Penn Station. Taxi was ridic prices! Ate at Irish pub across street..must try their Chicken Wings!!!! Hotel is so close to Times Square. Good location!!

Being so close to Times Square was amazing! Just a short walk and BOOM! action. It was also nice to have the TKTS booth close too. We were able to see multiple shows and walk there with ease. Not to mention the food. Serendipidy 3 was a great place for ice cream drinks (iced hot chocolate). Long Acre Tavern and Grill was across the street and had great food too.
