Elegant hotel, large room, comfortable bed. Convenient location, lots of restaurants close by. Fridge in room, minibar well-stocked with overpriced goodies. No free coffee.

I love this hotel and have been going there for years. It is an oasis and just enough blocks away from Times Square and that scene. Their morning coffee service could be a little more inviting...but perhaps I just miss the high quality croissants they gave away years ago. It's feels a bit corporate nowadays. The gym or "fitness center' could use upgrading by adding such basics as such as a weight machine ...sit up bench ...dumbbells that are more than child-sized. There is a spave age resistance machine that an MBA who has never worked out must have purchased. With these small gripes I remain a big fan and will return.

One night was over $700 and the air conditioning struggled to stay cool. I was in a corner room that was surrounded on both sides by giant Times Square video billboards! I love the star hotels chain and my past visits to their property in Rome have been exceptional. This time in New York was a little rough.

This comment is meant to be helpful. I had a lovely stay but I fell in the shower. I'm okay but there should be a sticky mat or grab bar. I could have gotten hurt. Otherwise everything was great.
