My stay was extremely disappointing. The room's air conditioning was not working. I had to call the front desk multiple times; it seemed like a breaker kept tripping. They would turn it back on, it would work briefly, and then shut off again. There was an improvised portable AC unit in the room, but it did not cool the room at all—completely unacceptable during the hot New York summer. After complaining, we were moved to another room that didn't even have the portable unit. I quickly discovered the central AC issue persisted there as well, proving it was a widespread problem in the building. I did not enjoy my experience. The room rate was incredibly high, likely inflated due to the upcoming World Cup, making it absolutely unacceptable to be placed in rooms where basic amenities like AC don't work. I would not recommend this hotel

Stayed 2 nights

It was a terrible experience from the start. We knew check-in was said to be 4 pm so we stashed our luggage and went about our day. However at 5:30, our room was still not ready. We had plans that evening and finally got into the room 2 hours later than expected or promised. Then, the air conditioner didn’t seem to be working but we thought it just needed some time to cool off and we went to our commitment late because of the tardiness of check-in. When we returned, the room was hot and uncomfortable. At this time, it was midnight and they said there was no where to move us. They send the maintenance man in and he said he couldn’t do anything but brought a fan. It was a miserable night and we all didn’t sleep a wink. The entire next day, I begged to be moved since the AC could not be fixed. I was even fine with being downgraded to a lesser view. We were not moved and asked if we would like waters since it was so hot - she actually said - they are $10 a piece and I just laughed. Do not stay here! It’s tempting because of the location but I’m telling you - DON’T DO IT! I was charged full price I regret staying there!

Stayed 3 nights

This hotel needs to put some lights and real closets in the rooms. 3 of us stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. There is literally NO closet space. There is no light. The A/C was working non stop and our clothes were all wet. The outlets and toilet paper in the bathroom were falling off. There is no coffee or tea in the room or a mini bar, just a mediocre small fridge. The wait staff at the restaurant were rude and they are adding a 18% "service fee" which he said we can call it a "tip" if we want. Overall, the only good thing was the location. First and last time there. We paid $700 a night!!! Unbelievable
