Stayed 1 night

Stayed 4 days in a corner room at the Hyatt Grand Central- this hotel has seen some days. THE ROOM The room was not bad- standard larger hotel room in NYC- which was nice- sitting area and a king bed. However our expreience started when we opened the refrigerator to find previous guests left overs... the coffee stand was missing coffee and cups- then in the bathroom- when we pulled a hand towel out- a pregnancy test had been stashed inbetween the towl and so it flew out onto the floor.. :-0 The bathroom was very very small.. the toilet was smashed between the shower and the sink- with maybe a half an inch on either side- the side of the cabinet was cut out from some previous use- overall it looked like Hyatt bought the cabinet on facebook marketplace and put it in there. Asked for more coffee and towels- the coffee came but the towels did not.. asked again- said it was a different group that brings those. Heating /air inconsistant- set at 67 throughout the stay- but would go from cold to hot randomly over night. Its like i was experiencing hot flashes! but i wasnt- just the air. Asked twice to have someone take a look... nobody came. It all made sense when I heard that this property was going to be torn down and a high rise built in the near future. I have stayed here in the 90s and loved it.. not much changed in terms of decor... and now has an old warn out feel to it. I wanted to love this place- location is great.. just couldnt.
