I would never stay here again at 234 Gallivant. The check in staff told me they would put a $100 a night hold on my card and they would decrease my $300 hold if I broke anything in the room also I would be charged $500 if I smoked or vaped. So I asked if I would be charged anything else she said no. When I was checking out another staff was behaving very shady about releasing my hold then she said I would be charged $46 a night X3. I'm like for what I didn't break anything then she made up the whole story about how it was in my reservations. I purchased the room with hotels.com so unless it was in the fine print I never saw anything of the sort otherwise I would never have book there. She was completely shady & piggish in the way she was relating to me. In addition to that I didn't even ask the maid to clean my room all I wanted was fresh towels and for them to take the trash out and they had attitude. Then in addition to that there was a faulty safe in the room, it had no mini fridge and the bathroom shower was not draining properly, the AC was very old and not cooling properly, they claimed they had ice machines and venting machines on four floors after checking 3 listed floors with broken ice machine I finally found a working one on floor 4 but no listed floor had any venting machines. It was not a good experience at all. I will never stay there ever again and I would never encourage anyone I know to stay there. The only convenience was that its located in times square.

I love staying here because of it’s location. It is central, close to everything. And it has some amenities that the usual travelers never get to use. The bad thing is they charge you for the use of the amenities even though you have no use for them. Other than that I feel safe here. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. Thank you.🙏

The Hotel was good for what it was. The priority was not to spend a lot of time in the room. The room was very small and in desperate need of renovation. That being said, it was clean and served its purpose.

The location was great! We were very close to Time Square. The hotel could use an update but it was clean. The internet was spotty and TV reception sporty as well. A few of the staff members were very helpful but a few seemed tired or bothered.

Pictures from Hotels.com were AI, not even close. Light broken off the head board, drawers missing knobs, everything chipped and worn completely out. Shower was OK. Hallways, stained carpet and spilled bleach stains. Absolutely horrible rooms... and I was upgraded to another room, that still was in bad shape. Oh, the location was great... that's about it and that's more than enough....
