Room was clean, slept fine. Dont go for continental breakfast-it was toast and awful coffee.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at our stay at Days Inn, Parsippany. As soon as we entered our room, the floor was visibly filthy, as if it had not been swept or mopped for days. We were traveling with our young daughter, so cleanliness was especially important. The next morning, we specifically asked housekeeping to clean the floor and then left for sightseeing. When we returned, nothing had been done.We called the front desk and were told, “That’s not my department.” We then asked the housekeeper directly, but she refused to clean it and told us it would only be done on checkout day.Because we needed a clean floor for our daughter, I ended up taking the broom and mop and cleaning the hotel room myself. I have never experienced anything like this after paying to stay at a hotel. I complained again at the front desk. The receptionist said she would call the manager. I waited, but the manager never came to speak with me. Instead, the receptionist was apparently being yelled at for calling the manager.Another housekeeper also refused to help, saying our room wasn’t her department. This hotel showed zero hospitality, accountability, or interest in resolving a legitimate guest complaint. Everyone seemed more interested in explaining why it wasn’t their responsibility than actually helping.There was a manager’s name displayed at the front desk Shrey Gajjar but despite waiting, management never addressed the situation.
