The worst stay at a hotel in twenty years! Bonvoy should let all booking sights know if their hotel is under construction. What a mess!! Only one door was open and we had to walk all the way around to the back through the jungle to get to it. The lobby was full of storage items and the first floor was torn up. My room was supposed to have a tub/ shower combination. It did not. Only a shower stall, therefore I couldn’t get the bath I wanted. If I had known these things, I wouldn’t have booked this hotel. I spoke to two managers and asked for a big discount or a refund. Neither has reached out.

Room was clean. Bartender/food staff friendly and helpful. However….The hotel is under construction which I was unaware of. I got there at 9 pm and you could not use front entrance. Sign for entrance pointed at back but you couldn’t drive there as cars were parked in the spot where it said entrance here. It was very unclear what to do. I had to ask a guest how the heck do you get in the building. I went in and there was construction stuff all over, including an open toilet (new but still). I did not feel very safe when I had to then walk back to my car, then drive back to front of building to park. Only spaces left were away from usable door entrances. Had to walk all around building to the back entrance by myself with my luggage. I did not feel safe to return to my car to go to find a restaurant. The front desk person said I’m sorry when I mentioned some of this. I was surprised breakfast not included and especially given the inconvenience mentioned above. She said “I’ll see what I can do” but then never said anything again. For the $ the room cost, I was very disappointed by experience. First world problem for sure. Communication about how to actually get in needed to be clearer. A big sign, excuse our mess… breakfast on us. Or something.

The whole hotel is being renovated. Only the 3rd floor suites were open. They were brand New. Great balcony. Nice bathroom. Lots of room. Santiago in the bar was Awesome. Made a great black cherry old fashioned. Stop and see him.

This property was lovely and was being refurbished. I had a lovely refurbished room but unfortunately the noise from the ongoing works was awful. It's annoying that this wasn't highlighted as I would probably have changed the hotel I was staying in.

Under major construction on the building. Large equipment, no parking, not easy to navigate. Room not ready on time. Not the staff fault the management should have shut it down to remodel.
