At Comfort Suites Outlet Center, guests frequently highlight clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location beside the outlet mall and a short drive to Biltmore and the Arboretum, with a generally satisfying, standard hot breakfast and pet friendly policies.

Rooms are usually comfortable and sometimes spacious, but bathrooms run small, soundproofing is weak near halls and elevators, and bed comfort varies. Loved the bed. Room was great too. One elevator is a problem. I was on the 5th floor and waiting during the morning was a pain. A couple of times I walked the stairs.

The elevator was out. At 76 with a bad hip, it was extremely unpleasant to be told there was nothing available on the first floor. In trying to assure I would have a first floor room on my return trip, in March, I was told by the desk clerk she couldn't do anything. This was my third stay at this facility, and it is the only one that has been unpleasant. Not a fan of the clerk who checked me in.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The elevator was out of order and we were not notified. Our family had to carry our luggage to the third floor. Each time we left we had to come and go by the steps. We were there Wednesday through Saturday. Upon departing we heard the manager calling people to notify them that they could go across the street to their sister hotel. We were not offered this option. Its sad because I could give them five stars easily. The elevator being down was a major inconvenience

The fitness center was so dirty, no towels or wipes. The floor was foul. The stairwells were also very dirty, yes I know it is a stairwell but dead bugs and either a pill or candy. The woman who I had to ask to open th fitness center offered me her keys to do it. Will not come back

I was in Asheville for a long weekend and needed some last minute accomodations. I was attending an event downtown and this hotel was conveniently located to Uber to a from. The location is nice because you can explore a lot of different areas of Asheville with just a short drive. The rooms have been updated and the beds are comfortable. The updates in the room were nice but felt a little rushed. The fridge in my room would not stay closed, so I had to prop my cooler against it to hold it shut. Also the elevator wasn't working the entire time I was there. This was by far the worst part about my stay. I was on the 3rd floor, and I'm not a light packer. I had to make 5 trips to get myself, my luggage, and dog upstairs. If I had some warning I would have packed a bit differently (more bags, but smaller) so I wouldn't have to drag a 60 pound suitcase upstairs. From what I heard the elevator regularly doesn't work at this property. The complimentary breakfast was delightful, they had biscuits and gravy, sausage/eggs for breakfast sandwiches, waffles, and a variety of cereal, fruit, and pastries. I will say the first day the gravy was super watery. All in all I had a pleasant stay in a clean, quiet hotel, they could just improve on a couple things. I would check on the elevator status before booking again though.

We were told upon checking in our towels would be refreshed every other day and a full cleaning would happen on the 3rd day (we were there 4 nights). Not once did the cleaning staff enter our room during our stay. Had to ask the front desk for new towels and toilet paper. Staff was very nice and the room was clean. The walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in the hall and adjacent rooms. Breakfast is the same daily but was decent and never ran out of food even on the busy weekend. Is a distance from downtown (20-30 minutes) if that’s what you are looking for.

The hotel room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The only issue with the room is that there are no black out curtains, or solid/non see through curtains. There are only sheer curtains. There are decorative solid curtains on either side, but they do not close over the window. You can also hear everything that happens in the hallway.

The soundproofing is terrible! You can hear Word for Word the conversations in the hallway. When you’re in the hallway, you can hear every detail of a conversation in someone’s room. It makes it hard to sleep when you can hear everything going on in the hallway. Room was clean hotel was easy to get to and staff friendly. However, due to the soundproofing, we will never stay in this hotel again

Our stay at this hotel was decent, but several discomforts kept it from being truly enjoyable. The biggest issue was the complete lack of sound insulation—noise from the hallway was easily heard inside our room, and vice versa. This was particularly frustrating as our room was right next to the elevator, making disturbances even more frequent. Unfortunately, the bed was one of the hardest we’ve ever encountered, making it difficult to get a comfortable night’s sleep. To add to the odd design choices, the bed was positioned directly next to the AC unit, despite ample space elsewhere. This placement made temperature control less effective and added to the overall discomfort. While the hotel had its merits, these issues significantly impacted our experience. Some thoughtful adjustments could make stays far more comfortable for future guests.

This is a convenient place to stay to go to Biltmore. However, the elevator was out of service the whole time. Our beds on first floor were so bad they decommissioned our room after we told them, and they looked, then we had no choice but to leave because of one in our party is paralyzed veteran. Front desk said we would be charged for the whole day by leaving at 6am because they could put us upstairs. I reminded them husband is paralyzed. Did not offer to swap beds or repair bed. So we had to drive home all night in the rain that was unplanned. I looked at charges and I have 5 charges on credit card for same amount and stay. No call from hotel. No courtesy. We travel a lot. We will never stay there again.

The entire staff was amazing. What possessed anybody to put us in Room 123, next to the ballrooms, is beyond me. On the Friday night, a family reunion. Alls good because we had no plans the next day so the music and loudness was ok. However, on Saturday night, a 6 piece band started at 5pm and we had a 6:00 am flight on Sunday morning. We called front desk and asked them to close their door, which was right across ours, and they didn’t. My husband went to the front desk and had us moved at 8:30 when we couldn’t sleep or handle the noise right outside our door!
