Adam at reception was extremely helpful when we checked in and found that someone else was in our room. It seems another staffer "gave away" our room. He did find another room for us BUT the rug was wet with water next to the wall and the bed. You couldn't walk there. The flooded rug and uncertainty at check in colored our experience. I think it would have been a different experience had those two things not happened. Breakfast was lovely and parking is ample.

This is a good place to stay in an area of limited hotel rooms, Chestnut Hill. The hotel staff is friendly enough, there was some miscommunication because we were told by one staff person an accessibility room would be available to us but at 4pm of check in day, we received a call saying the room was booked. We were given a 2 Queen room that we originally booked and a bath mat for the tub/shower, to prevent slipping. Unfortunately this room, I think 212 was right next door to a room that must have housed air conditioning because it was very loud. I don’t even think the hotel was that busy, so I was disappointed by the assigned room. Some of the hotel wood trim and walls could be cleaner, like in the second floor bathroom and in the stairwell going to the second floor. Our Queen bed had a twin comforter, so one of us was quite comfortable at night.

Beautiful, clean, quiet & rustic hotel located in heart of a lovely neighborhood. Plenty of dining & shopping options within a short walk. Free parking was a nice bonus.

I think this is now my favorite hotel ever. We stumbled on this hotel by accident and it was the best accident ever! The hotel rooms are so clean and big, high quality soap, the highest quality pillows and bedding I have ever experienced. There were comfortable chairs in the room too, an espresso machine, high quality everything. Michele, who ran the front desk, was beyond helpful. She was kind and just so wonderful that it makes me want to come back - which I believe we will soon! The area of Chestnut Hill is new to me and just so adorable and walkable and hospitable and friendly. If I could give this hotel and Michele 10 stars I would. Oh - there was also a popcorn machine in the lobby and a free fabulsou breakfast with table service!
