Although we didn’t need it this trip, I love that there was an easily accessible washer and dryer on our floor! So thoughtful. Everything was clean and fresh! Would stay here again for sure!

The hotel is fabulous. Just don’t expect great restaurants right where the hotel is. But they are downtown which is not far to drive. Hotel has shuttle to airport. If I have the opportunity I would definitely stay again.

Property was close to highway access and in a quiet area. Was loud during the mornings due to young children running through the halls - could hear almost every sound and the fan didn’t work all the time, but it was clean and comfortable. The gym needs some updating weight wise as it goes from 10 lbs directly to 25, no in between.

Quick overnight for me. Beds were not really comfortable. Walls are very thin and you can hear people talking in other rooms as well as walking in hallway. Not enough parking and if lot is full you have to part across the road.

I checked in at 1045pm i woke up around 1 am to roaches crawling on me and my bed i took pictures and went to front desk to ask see what they could do i was told a manager would call me in the morning . So i checked out. Morning came no call so i called the hotel and was told they didn't believe the pictures were taken at their hotel even with me showing a time stamp and they weren't going to give me a refund.

Found a cockroach in bathroom. Paper and wrapper under the sheet. Stayed last year and was very pleased. This stay was altogether very disappointing. Cleanliness was seriously lacking.

Property is getting run down. Beds were clean and comfy but the bathroom had a lot of mold and floor of the shower very dirty looking. Several of the towels were threadbare. Hard to dry off with. There was also garbage in the room from previous guest.

The breakfast was fresh. Although syrup made the counter a bit sticky. Individual packets may be a better option. The room was spotless. Very comfortable My one criticism.. we had a handicap room . Mom is a small 92 year old. The beds were too tall for her to climb in...which meant she always had to wake us up in the night to get in and out of bed safely. We didn't mind but she did. I would recommend lower beds for the handicap rooms.

Checked in about midnight… I was put in a noisy room near the kitchen on the first floor. The kitchen staff has been clanging dishes. It’s now 2:30 in the morning and music is blaring from somewhere. It’s too late and I’m too tired to deal with trying to move to a different room. The Wi-Fi does not work at all. This place is a nightmare. I don’t know how It has such a good. Pretty much a dump.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The free breakfast was good and included many hot and cold options. The heater was noisy and disturbed my sleep. I could hear people walking on the floor above me all night. I was woken up by a knock on the door while sleeping, only to answer it to find nobody there.

I booked because pet friendly hotel. Once arriving I was told I could not get the room I booked because I brought a dog. They put me in a different room. This room had a TV with broken screen (half blue) and a loudly rattling AC unit. We were moved to another room but they made sure to ask us if we used the linens, since they weren’t gonna look into our issues and would instead give to another person. The next room was better but the staff in the hallway were very loud and often yelling. The WiFi was a huge issue and was not working for hours at a time also. Our new room also had a broken vanity mirror in the bathroom that my girlfriend cut herself on. With all the choices in Portland, I will never stay here again.

Everything about our stay was really nice except for one thing...the air conditioning unit in our room was very loud. At least it seemed much louder than those of other hotels. Otherwise, the property was really nice, the room was clean and orderly, and it was a nice stay for 3 nights.

Front desk concierge is very dismissive and rude. The walls are very thin, you can hear almost anyone next to you as well as above you unless you’re staying on the top floor. Overall, the hotel in itself is clean. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re trying to get a good nights rest. Definitely overpriced for Portland, Maine.

The Casco Bay Hotel was nice but it is hidden behind the mall. We arrived to the hotel around 6:30pm on Saturday and the mall was empty. The room was fine, however when attempting to check out the next morning we learned that the young man that was supposed to be tending the front desk had to go run an errand and the only other employee was a lady that was trying to take care of the breakfast buffet and running back and forth to the front desk telling people he would be right back. He eventually came back and by that time there were several people waiting to check out. I requested a receipt and he was unable to print one for me. He then told me that I would send one via email but I never received it. Hotel gets a 4 for accommodations, but a 2 for service.

The front desk staff and manager were very rude and hard to deal with. I had to call multiple times to get any help. And when I finally did get someone they were very short and rude with me. The property is nice but I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking to get any level of customer service

Very nice, clean and friendly. I appreciate the decor and no carpeting. My only complaint is the breakfast buffet. The toaster was broken, the food choices were subpar and no decaf coffee or tea. Would have enjoyed healthier choices. Eggs were cold and the sausages were unappetizing.

Fromm the outside looked fine. Inside, lights ihn the hallway were broken or missing bulbs. In our room, paint was peeling in big chunks in the shower area, and in other parts on the wall, paint was sliding down the wall...like it had water behind it at some point. A breakfast was served from 6:30-9:30. The eggs were very cold!

This hotel was conveniently located next to a shopping mall and a couple of nice restaurants and even a bowling alley! While the bathroom was renovated and clean, it was done in a sloppy manner. The mattress and bedding was super comfortable, but the pillows were too poofy and not great for necks. The breakfast was delightful, and after a reminder to staff, the shuttle left about 10 minutes late. This hotel was just okay for the price.
