Easy access from highway. Absolutely no friendliness from staff. No greeting checking in or out. Check out lady never got out of chair. No microwave, fridge or coffee maker. Room was somewhat clean but needs more attention.Smoke smell was masked with air freshener. Water was shut off on my last morning. Parking is an issue on weekends. Might look for somewhere else to stay next time.

Expedia advertised for their Partner Red Roof Inn BWI South. The only filter I checked was Airport Shuttle. When my plane landed a little after 3:00 I called the Red roof inn for shuttle the shuttle. The extremely rude person who answered the phone said we ain't got no shuttle. Then I said your advertisement of Expedia said you had a shuttle at which point they hung up on me. I called Expedia and they said too bad for you you did not cancel before 2:00 pm. After arguing with Expedia for over an hour at the airport I was exhausted and booked another hotel room. With the live chat with Expedia they offered to give me back 65 Expedia dollars. I've said I want a full refund because you are a partner to fraud with Red roof inn BWI South. They said we'll get back with you just got my email today July 4th and they offered me $25 in Expedia cash. I'm reporting Expedia and this hotel for fraud to every consumer protection commission I can think of I am extremely disappointed with Expedia. Prior to incident I have never had a problem with Expedia they have always been excellent to work with I am extremely sad. I suggest everyone call the hotel before you bopk to confirm anything you check in your filter section.

Receptionist was unwelcoming and rude. Provided not proper instruction / direction. We had to figure things ourselves, the coffee station was dirty, receptionist area was barred like some jail. Spoke rudely etc

It was a decent Motel as far as cleanliness. My TV didn't work and i couldn't figure out the internet. When i called the front desk, the gentleman was less than helpful. The ice machine was also broken and the rooms did not have refrigerators. I didn't see any critters, so thats a plus. If you just need somewhere to lay your head without big expectations, i would recommend.

Wanted a room to sleep in before flying out the next day. Convenient to airport and room no more than expected for the rate - barely comfortable bed, noisy air conditioning, and desk lamp that did not provide any light. However, shower flow was poor and service could be improved. No coffee maker in the room, so went to office for a cup of coffee in the morning. There was a pump decanter, but the coffee was cold. Asked if could get any hot coffee and received a one-word answer: No! Why put the stuff out (coffee, cups, etc.) if not going to supply hot coffee at 7:30 in the morning? If not for that, I wouldn't have bothered to leave a review, since otherwise not remarkable for the price of the accomodation.

Cheap stay. No amenities like microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer, or small fridge. The extra lock that consists of a lever on the door which engages a pin on the frame did not work. Too much light leaked in from doorknob side of the door. Drawers had food remnants, so we didn't trust them, kept our stuff in suitcases. Toilet used WAY too much water, flush lasted 10 seconds. white outer cloth shower curtain had black spots on it. There was no plug for the sink, and there were two toothpaste caps stuck inside, totally visible. The plastic brown trim between the toilet and next to the tub was pulled away. The AC unit failed to respond no matter how much we lowered the temp display after the first night. Had to use only the fan, fortunately the nights were cooler than the day, and we stayed out all day. Lamp over one of the beds had a burned out bulb. If this is a Red Roof , I wonder how bad is the next step down?

Worst hotel ever stayed at in my 74 years on this earth. NO REFRIGERATOR TO STORE MY MEDICATION FOR DIABETES. NO MICROWAVE TO HEAT MY PREPARED MEALS FROM HOME. THE FRONT DESK COULD HAVE TOLD ME WHEN I CHECKED IN. MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER.

This is so far the worst hotel experience I have had, and to be fair I have stayed in several cheap hotels/motels so it’s definitely not high expectations on my end. As we walked in, there was a huge spider web on the frame of the door that got on our face. Then the room smelled like people have been smoking and we were supposed to have a no smoke room. The smoke alarm was detached and put in the nightstand drawer so it’s clear that people smoke and that the rooms are not being checked after visitors leave. The bedding was dirty, it had grease stains and was also extremely thin. Bathroom walls had brown stains. There was a lingering smell in the room, probably from the carpet or bedding but it smelled like bad cheese / poop combined with the smoke smell. The beds were very wobbly, they just rocked from side to side with any minimal movement. This hotel claims to be smoke free and there were signs for no smoking everywhere but it’s definitely not regulated; there are people smoking on the sidewalks,cigarette butts on the floor, and the room smells like smoke. The hotel and rooms are not bad and align with the budget and location but there is not excuse for cleanliness and for enforcing rules and giving some maintenance to the rooms and furniture, and providing thicker blankets. This hotel is pet friendly and had plenty of parking so 1 star for that.

There were bed bugs in the bed. I told the front desk who told me it would be refunded. When I contacted the hotel later they said I never reported it and they won't refund it. Whoever gets the room next know that you will have bugs on you and they won't record it so that they continue to spread. They think it's ok to charge for a bed with bugs as if it's not a health violation.

This property is dirty nasty bottom of the dumpster trifling. The staff is rude and nasty. The sheet has stains all over them. You don’t know if you sleeping on clean sheets or dirty sheets, the room, stink, and reek of cigarette smoke. The tub was brown. I couldn’t even give my baby a bath. The sink was nasty like someone dirty washed up in the sink before and didn’t rinse it out. the room was just disgusting smelled is someone may have urinated in the room and I had two rooms one smelled like urine and the other smelled like cat or pet or whatever it was just nasty. I would not recommend this to my Enemy. Just disgusting then the icemaker has spiderwebs and dirt all in it is nasty. Then every time I leave when I come back I have to go to the front desk just for them to unlock my car because I couldn’t get into my room so just imagine getting off work at 4 AM and you can’t even get in your room you gotta come back down the steps just to go to the front desk just to get your room key unlocked for you to be able to get into your room and every time I have to do that the Lightskin girl with long hair and light eyes. She has such a very nasty attitude with me every time as if it’s my fault that the keys just stopped working the other young lady I believe her name was Kim. She was nice other than that. The other lady at the front desk was so rude. I’m professional and had a bad attitude

Title: CONFIRMED BED BUGS & HORRIBLE SERVICE Rating: -10 stars I confirmed a bed bug infestation here. After bites and finding a bug, I made the mistake of staying another night (using the seemingly-clean second bed) and was bitten exponentially more. The front desk was unhelpful and accusatory when I asked for a new room, blaming me for not reporting it sooner. When she mentioned a refund, I asked if the new room would also have bedbugs; her knowing look confirmed my fears. Getting the refund was a nightmare due to her attitude and the tedious process involving Hotels.com, wasting an hour of my time. Avoid this location at all costs. The bed bugs are bad, but the dismissive and unprofessional service made a terrible situation infinitely worse.

Beware if you have lung problems! The cat and dog dander so bad as to cause breathing problems even while sleeping with a mask. Unbearably strong cat pee smell. Room key stopped working and the front desk person was nowhere to be found for 20 min. NOT a 24 hour front desk like Expedia says. Locals living here congregated loudly in the parking lot at midnight with behavior that made me scared.

The room was dirty, noisy. hotel was full of homeless people. when I entered in the room, I found it is dirty. fll of flies and mosquitos in it. Restroom had smells. Lights were not working. bedsheets had Cigarette burning holes. chair was having dirt and holes as well. one of the worst stay in the USA. in the next morning I went to front desk as there was one coffee can and cups. one lady from inside counter yelled at me saying there is no coffee. I paid 110 USD for 1 night and literally stayed in a junk yard.

I have a few concerns. I was supposed to get a non-smoking room. The room reeked of stale cigarettes smoke. I didn’t sleep very well because the mattress was very uncomfortable and the springs were wore out poking in my back. It definitely needs a new mattress other than that, I had no other issues

You get what you pay for. The room was okay, but pretty dingy. The smoke detector had been removed from the wall and some wires were all that remained. The toilet worried me. I thought it was going to overflow every time I flushed. There were holes in the comforter. But hey! We had a place to sleep.

Room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The bedspreads had burn holes scattered throughout. The heat blew only cool air when the weather outside was 27 degrees. It was late and we were exhausted from driving in the snow and took it for what it’s worth.

What I liked: it had checkin service after midnight. The vending and ice mechines were stocked. What I didnt like: the attendent made entire experience a 3. I had to return to the front desk 4 times because the key given was to a room already occuiped. The rudness of the attendent was out of this world for a mistake I had nothing to do with. Instead of being apologetic she threw the key at me thru the window. Beside that the room was okay, clean and it had towels.

Terrible on all counts. Front desk daytime staff - totally rude - doesn't come to the window. speaks from the corner in the dark. Asked a question and told me to check out if I didn't like it. I coudn't get early checkin so I came back later at night. she acted annoyed, never asked my name - just put cards on the tray. There are 2 buidings never told me which building. Then started yelling at her child

Checking is was a breeze. All the issues didn’t start til late night early morning. After working a 16 hour shift, I come back to the key not working , no big deal. I walk over to the office it’s a sign that saids be back in 20 mins but call her personal number for assistance. The agent comes from wherever and gives me the key. This morning around 9:30 am house keeping barges in my room without knocking or anything. Then dis the same at 11. I’m familiar with red roofs policy and check out is at 12. So to keep barging in on me is unacceptable.

Room was no frills, not even a blow dryer. The room itself was standard, the AC worked, noise level was good. I did not hear any other rooms. The water leaked from the shower. The male check-in/reception was very helpful. The area of the hotel is decent and located near to food and major highways. Definitely recommend a car if you do stay at the hotel. I would stay again. But keep expectations low.

Check-in couldn't have been faster. Room was clean and comfortable. Price was excellent. No...it's not a 5-star luxury hotel, but why pay 3x what you have to if you're only staying the night? The only downside was a noisy crowd outside at different times through the night...not much management can do about that. The area is not particularly well known for it's safety, but I personally didn't have any problems.

I liked the convenient location around the BW Parkway and next to my kids' residence. The price was good for the standards of the hotel. I did not like people smoking on the outdoor balcony's and the smell of marijwana.
