Hotel elevator was too slow; Needs to be replace . Door to the parking lot was unlock all the time!

Confusing parking lot to get into. Entrances that GPS takes you are blocked off. Elevator kept getting stuck.

The staff were amazing and the gym was enjoyable. The issue was that the pool on site has been closed since the pandemic. No functional pool during the summer is horrible.

Elevator not working

Elevator out of order. Ice machine out of order. Put us on the highest floor. Only one member checking in while the other member sat in front of a computer and belched the entire time. Construction next door. No notice of anything I mentioned.

Construction site next door and fenced off only one way in and out. Parking lot had lots of pots holes. ELEVATOR OUT OF SERVICE ENTIRE TIME!!! How could it not be repaired in the three days we were there. He gave no expectation as to when it was going to be repaired. Like we should just deal with it. There was nothing in the write up saying that elevator was inoperable. Staff was surly.

The pool wasn’t open yet

Staff was very polite and helpful, very clean, but elevator broken, juice machine broken, outside unkept.

An old bank was torn down and some debris still remains within the construction fencing in front of hotel. It’s an eyesore and nothing has been done since our last stay in Dec. 2023. Elevator still not working properly. Sometimes elevator doors open, sometimes they don’t. Landscaping a mess. Won’t stay there again.

The property is convenient to where I needed to be. Easy to access. The elevator was out of service, Ice Machine was also out of service. The plug for the shower/tub was pulled out.

Was not happy with the fact that we saw 3 roaches in our room, 2 of which were in the bathroom. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were already on our 2nd night there, we would’ve left and gone to another hotel. We will not be returning to your hotel.

I stayed here 5 years ago and had no complaints. I picked this hotel based off prior experience, and it has drastically declined. Immediately upon walking in, the lobby reeks of cigarette smoke. We were not informed prior, after calling, that the elevator was out of service, leaving us to climb 3 floors. I contacted the hotel prior to arriving, asking if a hair dryer was in the room. I was informed every room has a hair dryer, yet we did not have one. Upon looking for said hair dryer, we found prior occupants personal belongings. Which I found rather disgusting. The floor area upon walk in and within the bathroom area was sticky, which was disturbing. The hallway of our floor smelled strongly of cigarettes and weed, as well as “spices.” Luckily, the air conditioning worked which cleared out the room while we were gone. Check in was very unpleasant; it did not feel welcoming or homely. I made a comment about the elevator issue, which was ignored. Upon finding prior guests belongings, all I was provided was a “sorry for the inconvenience.” We went to fill our ice bucket, and found the only ice machine is on the lobby floor, and no elevator made it difficult to get ice. The hotel room carpets were torn in multiple areas, the walls had spots and tears all over, and it just felt neglected. This hotel did not feel like we were welcomed, cared for, or safe. I will never stay here again. If I wasn’t hours away from home, and had more time to search, I would have moved.

The bathroom floor was filthy and obviously hadn’t been cleaned. The staff was unfriendly and didn’t even say hello when walking by. Breakfast wasn’t that good, we went across the street to IHOP to get decent coffee and food. I probably would never stay there again. The only plus was it was close to the hospital where I needed to go.

The room was clean but they really need to exterminate for roaches

Room was dirty with drool stains on sheets and pillowcases along with what appeared to be pubic hair in the washcloth. Torn curtains and rust stained floors

On February 26, 2025, I booked a stay at the La Quinta Inn through Expedia, following a family member's recommendation for a funeral in the area. Since I was arriving late, I reached out to the front desk twice to confirm my late check-in and ensure my room would be held while traveling from Virginia to Rosedale, Maryland. After arriving at 1:40 AM on Saturday, my son and I checked in, only to discover that the elevator was out of service, which meant we had to take the stairs—a concern during hotel stays. Once in our room, I followed my usual cleaning routine, sanitizing the bathroom, phone, TV, and remote control with Clorox wipes and spraying Lysol. I checked the beds for bed bugs, pulling back the sheets and pillows, and treated the bedding with "Good Night," an aerosol for bed bugs, mites, and lice, thankfully finding no issues that night. However, on the morning of our departure, I felt an itch, which I initially dismissed until something fell from my clothes in the bathroom. Upon inspection, I found a bed bug that crawled down the drain before I could take a photo. At check-out, I showed the front desk clerk the bites on my neck and chin, explaining the situation and indicating the need for action. During my return to Virginia, I experienced swelling and increased itching on my hands, neck, and upper back, prompting me to re-contact the hotel about my report. They assured me my account was noted and a manager would return my call. To date -NOTHING!

Do not come to this hotel. They have bed bugs

The room smelled like cigarettes. The floors were sticky. The breakfast was ice cold and the coffee pots were empty. It looks like this hotel is privately owned and very short staffed, the same young lady that checked us in is the same person that cooks breakfast and cleans. There was a roach crawling around in the breakfast area so my family and I drove to get breakfast. When I brought all the issues to the lady at the front desk and told here we were leaving to find a better hotel because we couldn't stay there in those conditions. She said I would still be charged for 3 days although we're only there for 8 hours. I told her I would call my credit card to dispute the charges and they wouldn't get paid,, then magically a refund appeared on my card the next day. This hotel needs upgrading and staff that can properly accommodate their guest.

It appeared to be a shelter for the homeless. Also there was a roach in my room. Making me pack up all my belongings and putting them in the car the whole stay

This property was horribly maintained and extremely dirty. We were moved to a second room at midnight that was not any cleaner but had no choice but to stay the night at that point . There was extreme smoking of pot throughout the property. The shower was backed up and filthy. The floors were sticky and covered with pet hair. The door handles were falling off and the locks didn’t work, and there were bugs in our room and stained pillows. The hotel would not refund our money after multiple complaints during our brief stay. Would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances

Clean, very nice room with very clean bathroom and shower. Friendly check in, cold drinks and snacks. Only stayed a night ever was great. Comfortable bed, cable tv, WiFi, microwave and coffee maker. Also little refrigerator. I would 100% stay again. All for around $90 a night.

There was poor WiFi and I could only get on channel on TV. The breakfast was awful and table dirty in dinning area. Environment was very and other individuals staying there were very sketchy there were a lot of young teenagers running through the hotel. I checked out and forgot my medication call back and my medication was thrown away the policy is they do not keep any medication, but they keep your dirty underwear for 30 days; nevertheless, my medication was in a clear Ziploc bag with bottles and my name on it and they knew that I was just someone that had checked out and they did not notify me prior to throwing out my medication. I was traveling and I had a hard time trying to get my medication back because I had to have it transferred from another State. It was just not to my satisfaction.

Pros: easy check in, clean rooms, comfy king beds, super powerful showers Cons; room didn’t have bathtub, breakfast exactly the same for 3 day stay, one slow elevator.

TV didn’t work toilet was broken.

The rooms were very nice. Comfortable bed, large shower, clean fresh linens. My only complaint is how thin the walls are. It's possible to hear whispers in the corridor.

The hotel was decent. Elevator was slow..a constant wait. TV was small and the picture on it was not great.

Can hear I guess it was the pipes don’t know make a loud noise in bathroom the carpet on second floor just look dirty outdated and the bathroom tub high instep not practical for older adult or someone with back or leg issues. Did not like the sink outside the bathroom very awkward. Construction going on nearby so the appearance was not appealing to eye. I did like that there was a shopping center right across the street which had Walmart and Giant supermarket.

The room looked fine and clean, it smelled of cleaning fluids. The bathroom fan did not work, the AC fan rattled, the elevator door did not open fully. They are trying but clearly the place needs some repairs.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was not as pictured on their website. There was dust on the furniture, dirty floors and a lingering odor of musty, weed and fabuloso. Walls are super thin and constantly hearing dogs barking was annoying.

The woman who checked me in (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name even though I’ve seen her almost every time I stay there. She wears a black head dressing) is always absolutely a pleasure. I can tell she enjoys her job and makes sure I have a good experience and clean room. However, around 12am a group of about 4 maybe 5 men were standing in front of the hotel outside the lobby and were SO LOUD!! I was in room 211 right out front. This went on for over an hour. I repeatedly called the front desk and staff only answered once. For about 30 mins the men went away then a little after 1am I could hear them laughing and yelling “gang gang” and other things. I was visiting for a work trip and did not get much sleep.

Monique the manager was amazing great customer service.

Front desk mngr has nasty attitude. Her name is Monica or Monique. I found out she was acting mngr. Maybe on some kind of power trip. Disrespect for no reason. We will never stay there again. However, I did have encounters with the front desk personnel and they were very pleasant and respectful. So if you go to front desk after 3, when “mngr” is gone, you will have a very pleasant encounter.

The staff was caring and friendly. Went out of their way to make sure things got down.

I didn't get the room. There were hidden fees I was not aware of. The staff told me that they overbooked so the room I paid for was no longer available and then they would not give me a refund when I declined the double queen room. I'm still waiting for this to be resolved. I reached out to the person listed on the cancellation confirmation but I have yet to hear back. I will never book with La Quinta Wyndham again and I don't think I'm going to use Expedia again either.

The front desk staff is amazing

We had 2 rooms with 3 people in each. Only had towels for 2 and they never brought up. Lobby bathroom was locked and since our toilet did not flush that was a problem. They would not give us the code. I filled out info ahead of time including picture of my ID and he made me do it all over. Terrible checkin

Staff was very accommodating

My stay at the LaQuinta was not good this time. Front desk staff rude and non-existent. I did not check in until 3:15 due to the ignorance of the lady staff that told me when I arrived to give her approximately 5 minutes. Okay fine! But 20 minutes later you still aren’t acknowledging me. She proceeded to tell me about all her job responsibilities. I did not ask any or needed any of her personal details. I am tired and only needed to get assistance with my room

Close to shopping areas that are walkable. Good price for the room type. Breakfast was typical fare in nice dining room.

The room is nice for the price. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The area is near the interstate so traffic noise is pretty bad. The tv is confusing to use.

The room was decent but it smelled like cigar as you enter. The odor is pretty strong. The location is convenient as it’s right off the highway.

The room I stayed in had a hole in some of the baseboards but other than that the place was fine. Right across the street from Walmart which was convenient!

Parking area needs more light at night. Strong smell of weed as soon as you go in the lift. Lift actually need replacing, door close very very slow. Hot breakfast is good. Staff was very helpful. Price should be lower than the condition of the hotel. Close to stores and shops.

Safe, clean, quiet, well maintained hotel. Easily accessible from 695.

The breakfast area was filthy. Nobody would clean the spillage of other guests. The counter tops were dirty. They didn't have extra towels. I had a double queen with three guests and only had two towels for the shower. I requested a third towel and they told me they didn't have any.

I usually travel to Baltimore on business and never stayed at La Quinta before so decided to give it a shot. I’ve never been so disappointed at the quality of breakfast a hotel offered for its guests. It’s sad and shocking that a third world country like Ecuador offers a better quality type of continental breakfast versus a big chain hotel like La Quinta. There were no bacon, sausage, fresh fruit even most of the items a continental breakfast has. There was only muffins, hard boiled eggs (not even scrambled) yogurt and bread.

The lady that check me in was AWESOME. Breakfast needs to be worked on. The lady running breakfast DID NOT want to refill any of the items. Mind you it was only a little after 8 breakfast is over at 10. Guest had to complain to the lady at the from desk and she came and assisted the lady running breakfast or for better terms did her job.

Breakfast was awful. Ran out of eggs for last hour. No artificial sweetener on premises, no knife to cut bagels.

We we’re there for a local colleges Family weekend. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but breakfast area was over crowded and tables were very scarce.

Came down for a family funeral. Hotel was clean (did smell like weed in some areas) and the breakfast was amazing!!! Our room had a broken air conditioner and the door knob to the bathroom was very loose, but we were able to open up our window which was awesome!!!
