The lobby and the room was very neat and clean and the staff was quite friendly. However I was quite unhappy to walk all the way down to the lobby from my room which was on the 3rd floor to get access to a microwave. I needed the microwave to heat up milk for my daughter. I wish there was a microwave inside the room or at least one per floor. Also, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty.

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and courteous. Only 2 odd things was the parking lot was partly taken up by new vehicles (some sort of fleet work trucks and vans) so it limited space and it was a busy weekend of soccer tournaments. Plus, you had to pay for breakfast ahead as part of the stay, but you were not told you had to sit in the dining room and be served if you purchased.

Check in was great. This is my first time at a DoubleTree and the cookie was a nice touch. The first room we were assigned was dusty and the outlets didn’t work. We requested a new room and the front desk person was extremely apologetic. He gave us two days worth of breakfast for free at the restaurant ($18x 5 people x 2 days). The second room was also dusty but not as bad. The shower was clean. The beds were fine. Lots of pillows. The mini fridge is not cold. It was fine for drinks but I wouldn’t use it for food. They must have been adding decor because by the elevator were about 6 boxes and all the trash that goes with it, laying on the floor. The hallway carpets to the rooms were not vacuumed. We passed the same peanuts in the floor all three days. The pool didn’t have towels on their shelves the two days we went to it. When I asked the front desk they quickly gave us bath towels to use and asked housekeeping to come down to restock the towels. The pool is heated but the room it is in does not appear to have heat so it was freezing. The bar was great with a variety of options. The restaurant breakfast was great, too. The food was hot and the server was efficient. She was managing the entire space. When we went that was 6 tables of people. It is buffet style. The parking lot had plenty of space and the hotel has easy access to shops and food and major highways. I’m assuming it’s off season and they are operating with skeleton crew?

The hotel itself looked fantastic until we got into our room. One of the door hinges was completely bent, a handle to the closet door was dangling, the shampoo/conditioner bottles weren't even on the wall they just sat on the tub floor), we had half a roll of toilet paper and no extras, an empty tissue box, crumbs on the floor when we arrived. We booked this hotel specifically because we were traveling with kids and wanted to enjoy the pool but when we got there found out the pool was closed - we were told it was posted on the hotel website but upon checking we did not see it posted anywhere that the pool was closed. Not the stay we wanted after traveling...

Our stay was good, the hotel could use some improvements. The shower head did not have good water flow. You had to stand about a foot away from the shower head or else the water wouldn't reach you. So no full use of the shower area. There were random hairs in the bathroom. Both my wife and I have short hair. The random hairs were about 12 inches long. The staff were nice and helpful, especially with a busy weekend with the Montgomery County Ag Fair across the street, and other events held at the hotel.

The bathroom was not clean nor sanitary, there was debris and hair on the bathtub I called the front desk in the morning to have it cleaned before taking a shower. No one was sent. Loud noise late into the night 2 or 3 am from guests partying in the outdoor lounge area…the noise woke me up multiple times. Three stars because it was easy to book, but there’s a $50 extra fee you’ll be charged upon arrival without a receipt. Won’t stay here again. Easy check in and check out.

The room we had had filthy windows and shredded curtains hanging behind the blinds. I did take pictures. Handicap parking was inconvenient. They also locked the side door, where i had to park my car, which was a handicap spot, which made me walk around to the front to walk into the main part of the building; too many inconveniences. It was not worth the money. I will not be staying there anymore.

I’m not one to leave negative reviews lightly, but I feel compelled to share my experience for the benefit of future travelers. While the lobby appeared recently renovated and the staff were pleasant with generally good service, the condition of the guest rooms was unacceptable. Our room was extremely dirty — it looked as if it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in years. The windows were so grimy that someone had drawn a sad face into the dirt, a clear sign of long-term neglect. The furniture was dated and dusty, and both the bed and floor had remnants of what looked like pet hair. It was deeply unpleasant. The room was also extremely dark with only two dim lights. To make matters worse, only one of the three elevators was working during our stay. The wait times were excessive, so we resorted to taking the stairs most of the time. On the one occasion we used the elevator, it reeked of a terrible odor. Given the condition of the room and the lack of basic maintenance, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are surely better alternatives in the area that offer a cleaner and more comfortable stay.

The receptionist was very kind. However, the biggest issues we dealt were cleaningless and loud environment. The bathroom was full of hairs and the tub was nasty, plus neighbors next to our room had loud music all night and we couldn’t sleep.

I have stayed in the property many years for a show at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds and this was the first year it was miserable. I do not know what was wrong with the heating/AC system but it came on and off constantly and sounded like a loud coffee percolator, then running water all night. I even turned the thermostat to OFF and it still came on every 5 minutes. Room 619. Worst night's sleep I ever had in a hotel room.

We stayed here on August 8th. The property is beautiful and very close to the Montgomery County fairgrounds, which is where our event was. The king bedroom that we had was beautiful and spacious. Little touches like the bedside stand for our carry on to sit on and outlets with charging ports on BOTH sides of the bed made things so nice. The bed and king pillows were super comfy. There were some loud cars nearby, but once I turned on the noise machine, it didn't bother us. There are 3 elevators. And everything was clean. The only negative thing was that the shower had very little water pressure. It had a changeable head, but none of the settings allowed much pressure. It took a long time to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. I will definitely stay here again.

Booked this hotel via hotels.com where a pet fee of $50 was advertised. The hotel accepted the terms of the booking when they accepted my reservation, however when I showed up the property I was told that I would be charged $75 for my pet. After explaining the terms of my booking to Stephan and the manager on duty Timothy, they reported that it was not their issue and that I would have to pay the $75 because they advertise it as such on Hilton.com. Given it was midnight and they also wouldn’t refund my stay, I was basically held hostage. I called Hiltons corporate office and they stated that they could not change the hotel policy and suggested that I discuss with a manager on duty (already did). In any case, I am filing a formal complaint with the FTC over these deceptive business practices because while it is only $25, if they are doing it to me they are likely doing it to thousands of others. Shame on you Hilton. Furthermore I requested a pack and play and they said they would bring it to my room, 20 minutes later one did not show up so I had to run out to my car to grab ours. Mind you this is after midnight with our toddler, and I offered to carry it up myself but the front desk said they were going to bring it. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was helpful and courteous, except for the girl, Khadijah, who had checked me in. She flat out refused to give me a bottle of water, when I had asked. She stated that it’s only for Hilton members, and that I shouldn’t of booked through a third-party. She went on to say to me: “become a member, and don’t book through Expedia the next time” so the two bottles of water can be for free. Huh? All that for a bottle of water? I felt like I was being scolded for asking for water. Aside from this, the 2 gentlemen, sorry I never got their names, at the desk from the night shift were very kind, one of them even went in the kitchen to lend me a cake cutter as I was celebrating my birthday that night. I would definitely book another stay!

I had a truly great experience during my recent stay at the DoubleTree. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Stephen at the front desk, and I can’t say enough good things about him. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine pride in his work immediately set the tone for the rest of my visit. Stephen went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and comfortable from the start. It's rare to come across someone who brings that level of courtesy and care to their role—what a gentleman! Definitely a five-star front desk experience. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but it was the people—especially Stephen—who made the stay memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay.

The issue that I had was I was in bed at 9:15 AM and knocked on the door and came in the room using a key card waking me up out of my sleep. Check out is not till noon, so why are you disturbing your guests at 9:15 AM? And how safe did I feel in your hotel room after someone walked into my room while I was in bed?

Odd layout. Front desk didn’t even tell me the room number, just threw the cards on the counter and said elevator is to the right. Had to ask what floor and room number because I had all my bags. Main elevator doesn’t bring you to the floor to access the room though. You have to go all the way down the hall to an old single elevator. Police cookout in the hotel parking lot Sunday night until after 11 pm right outside our window wasn’t helpful either

I did not like the fact that breakfast was not included. I have never stayed anywhere and not able to have breakfast on the house. Also, the breakfast we only ate one day and thats because the breakfast was not appetizing. Not good at all.
