The property was well situated for convenience getting around Boston. There is on-site parking in a public garage, but the signs are misleading when you arrive offering no direction for unloading or checking in. There was no mini fridge in the room but one was brought immediately on request. The free coffee and tea in the lobby each morning was good.

Location was great. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only note is that if you park in self-parking to be sure to get the parking pass when you check in to receive the daily in-out rate and not be charged for every trip (hotel resolved this easily though!).

This hotel is in a good location for sight seeing; the start of the Freedom Trail is just a few blocks away. The “Rooftop Bar” was never open for the 3 nights we were there. That was highly disappointing to us.

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The location, room cleanliness, and views were exceptional. However, the fitness room fell short of the standard set by the rest of the areas. Despite this minor setback, I’ll still give it a 5-star rating. Just be aware that if you plan to work out there, the fitness room may not be up to your expectations.

The hotel is clean but starting to show signs of age. There is parking available but this is not affiliated to the hotel and therefore not included or discounted. There is a hidden service charge that we were presented at check in to cover WiFi, coffee and a few other items. It was disappointing this wasn’t just added to the price when placing the booking. Not a show stopper but something to factor in when looking for hotels in a similar budget.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Boston. Walking distance to shopping, park, Freedom Trail points, etc. It was a perfect walking hotel for a family with teenagers. Also, easy to get an Uber or Lyft. Restaurant, bar, gym, rooftop restaurant, etc.

Run down and the rooftop bar is not nearly as nice as the pictures tell. What this hotel has going for it is its location. There is no valet. Self serve parking is thru another company. I hate writing bad reviews, but next trip to Boston I'm going to try a new place.

Very disappointing hotel that has a great location. Our room had an awful smell the whole time and one of the A/C units didn't work. The sofa bed mattress was covered in stains and there was paint missing all over the room. The shower tiles were stained yellow and the soap holder was hanging loose. Just appears there is very little pride taken in it. The other A/C unit was by the bed and blows in your face all night..Just set the right expectations before staying here. House cleaning did a good job so that was a bright spot but overall , not great.

The Revere is conveniently located in the old theater district near Chinatown and the Common in downtown Boston. The building shows its age, with fairly dark rooms dated, shabby and worn furnishings and carpets and (at least in the suites) tiny bathrooms. The bathroom in the suite is connected to the hallway to the suite, so you have to walk through the living area to get to it from the sleeping area, which is not convenient. On the plus side, the soundproofing is effective. On the minus side, amenities are minimal, the free wifi is extremely slow and the hotel restaurant is not satisfactory. Definitely not luxurious. It's not a bad place to stay, but there are newer and nicer options in the area.

Overall we were happy with the hotel and the location was ideal & the free use of the bicycles was very helpful. A couple of features of the room were disappointing given the price point. - Inside AC control panel was attached with tape - Outdoor AC unit took up a big portion of the balcony & had water leaking - Some features of the room were very dated & need upgrading, particularly the balcony. - One of the mattresses was sunk in the middle & needs replaced - TV & WiFi work intermittently - Stiff towels Overall we were happy with our stay & the staff were generally helpful and friendly. However, the attention to detail was not what you would expect of this type of hotel and does not reflect value for money.

Beautiful view from the balcony, nice size room., Unfortunately, because the elevator was right next to 2102 we could hear clicking all night from the elevator, and the Wi-Fi signal was very sporadic to virtually nonexistent in the bedroom part of the suite. Perhaps a Wi-Fi extender in that room would be helpful. Service is excellent and we love the hotel overall

So many good things to say about this property. The lobby/lounge area for guests is clean and crisp with an amazing drink station (water, sparkling water, teas, flavored waters available), ample seating for lounging or dining, a TV, fireplace, outlets, bathroom, etc. The staff responded to every request we had promptly and with kindness (we had probably half a dozen different requests). The location is great, we easily accessed everything we needed, and there were a lot of stores nearby in case we forgot anything (for example, CVS was a two minute walk away). Thank you, Revere Hotel, for making our stay in Boston memorable!

The hotel is wonderful. Plenty of parking, great rooms, lots of on property amenities including an amazing bar (Thanks Mary for the best amaretto sour). But by far the best is Leo at the front desk. He was attentive, helpful, kind, and made the stay amazing. Leo’s dedication is the reason for a five star review. Without him the Revere is good. With him: great.

Perfect location for our plans at a reasonable price. Area seemed to be a little run down just one block to the east. Extremely poor service at the rooftop bar which is on a rooftop of a connected building, but not the tall rooftop of the hotel building.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent location near restaurants and attractions. All staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I even received a birthday gift! The Rebels guild restaurant in the hotel had excellent breakfast menu and good service. This was my second stay and I will stay here again.

Overall happy with the hotel. Great location. Everything good except restaurant which was overpriced for the quality of food. Especially dinner menu. Worst steak I couldn’t eat. Supposed to be sirloin which is rump but this steak was a misshapen tough round ball of meat. Can’t believe chef let it go to our table. Front staff and housekeeping very good.

The suite was very spacious including two full-size balconies, which was a tree, especially being right downtown near everything. The location of the hotel is fabulous. You are minutes from the Public Gardens & the Commons about 15 minutes from Beacon Hill and about the same to Park Street/Downtown Crossing. The rooftop is wonderful - the view of the John Hancock building is spectacular and the food and drinks were delicious. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Highly recommend this location. Veronica made this trip memorable and my niece & nephew will love the lobsters for years to come!

We arrived extremely late, and the staff were very accommodating and ensured we got into our room quickly. The room itself was very clean, a lot cleaner than a much more expensive hotel we had stayed in the city prior, so that was appreciated. Room was spacious, and the balcony was a bonus, as I know most hotels don't have those. Found all the Rever decor quirky and fun, and appreciated the water-filling station (the flavors and the ability to have sparkling was a bonus). Location is perfect; walkable to Boston Common and the Arlington T stop (with Boyleston T stop also nearby), and a slightly longer trek to Newbury St. All in all, would recommend and stay here again.
