Chose this hotel for the great location!! Front desk agents were friendly, BUT…..after a great day in Boston, we came back very late and had to change rooms due to stained sheets on our bed.

The hotel is just OK. Definitely dated and doesn’t seem to be well-maintained by the current owner. Everything in the bathroom was falling apart. The toilet paper holder wouldn’t stay on the wall showerhead was leaking and stuck in a weird corner that made it difficult to shower. The rooms were nice enough, but extremely generic didn’t smell bad, but didn’t smell clean. There are two elevators and neither one of them seem safe, but at least they’re slow I’m not sure what amenities they’re referring to. There’s a bar pub bistro connected in the lobby that was OK not great service drinks were really good though. Overall, it was just OK and I would not spend my money there again

Very nice staff and room was quiet and great. Very close to subway station. One opportunity for improvement would be to upgrade the bed mattress. It was well used.

The location is unbeatable. Valet Parking is expensive & not necessary, cheaper across the St on Spot Hero. We parked the car & forgot about it. Hotel is very old & room shapes could be odd. Our sink had a huge crack in it & the toilet was weirdly close to the wall. But clean and comfortable bedding.

It was just one night stay and we had a very good time so overall a positive experience. Check in was easy and staff helpful, rooms are clean and somehow updated with taste, bed was very comfortable. We had a Studio King which is a corner room and it has a bunch of windows overlooking the neighborhood and a ton of light which was a plus for us, location is a 10 out of 10 in the middle of everything, in Copley Square so thumbs up! Reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that the general impression is that the place got a face lift but without too much effort, counters in bathrooms are new-ish but cabinets chipped and run down, original carpet, elevator sounded like it could go any time, some small details in my opinion but that don’t look well in a central property like the Copley Sq Hotel! I would probably stay again if price is right!
