Honestly, I would not stay here again. The hotel itself is fine and the location is great for events at the Superdome. However, these are my complaints. 1) I asked a Valet which street my Husband should come down as we were confused upon arrival and he said "you have to ask the front desk" and walked away from me. That felt odd and rude. 2) We arrived around 10:00 AM so I asked if we could keep our bag in a check-in closet and then check-in after the Saints Game. The woman checked me in without even telling me and then handed me a room key and said "bring it to me after." I had no idea she meant upon checking out and had to clarify if the key was to put my bags somewhere and then she rudely said "that's your room." 3) My husband had to get up on a chair and use part of a hanger to fix the vent so that the AC wasn't blowing up at the ceiling but blowing out so that we could properly feel air. 4) I had the same woman upon check-out and she didn't offer me a bill just took the keys and said "goodbye." As someone whose lived in Louisiana for 13 years this is not southern hospitality and New Orleans is a big hospitality industry. Very unimpressed with the service of this small hotel vs. the service I've received from big chain hotels in New Orleans. Overall, book at your own risk.

The room was very hot when we arrived. I understand the windows and sun cause that problem, but it was 78 degrees in our room with the AC down to 60. It got down to 75 degrees by 5PM. The hot water in the shower took at least 20 minutes to get hot. We didn't think the hot water even worked. It was a great location.

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Worst hotel experience of my life. Review: If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the single worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was straight-up filthy and damaged: it genuinely looked like the door had been kicked in, there was suspicious mold lining the shower drain, and rust crusted around the toilet. It is completely unsanitary and unsafe. Things only got worse at 10:52 PM when I stepped out for a brief second to grab my hairbrush, and the door locked itself from the inside with the top latch engaged, trapping me out. I went straight to the front desk and spoke with the manager, Jay (the one with the ponytail). He lied to my face, promising maintenance would arrive in 10 to 15 minutes. It took nearly 40 minutes for anyone to show up. When Jay finally dragged himself over, he offered nothing more than a pathetic, dismissive apology. Zero compensation, zero accountability, and zero effort to make up for the massive inconvenience and stolen time. The only positive thing I can say is that the cafe food was delicious and the servers actually knew how to treat guests with respect. Management and room quality, however, are an absolute joke. Save your money and stay far, far away from this disaster of a hotel.
