The hotel was great; very clean, nice amenities, easy check in, and friendly staff. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything I needed for my work trip. The proximity to the conference center, shopping, dining, and sightseeing was great. I had one negative issue, and unfortunately, it was a significant enough to prevent my return. The hotel has posted quiet hours beginning at 10pm. However, the bar serves until midnight. The first night wasn't terrible, just the occasional loud bursts of laughter or raised voices. For the remainder of my stay, the bar played football games until last call. The noise of the game and the loud patrons echoed throughout the atrium, (which all balconies overlook) and could be clearly heard in my room. When I called the desk to inquire about why the noise was permitted to continue beyond the quiet hour, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done, as long as the bar was open. The man was very kind and polite, but it was clear that the concern was out of his hands. Needless to say, I did not sleep well and was exhausted by the end of my trip. Traveler beware - quiet hour may begin much later than advertised.

The hotel is nice and situated in walking distance to the downtown/historic area (15 min). The staff were professional and helpful. The room was large and clean. There are areas that show wear, but overall it’s well kept. I gave 4 stars because I was in a room with a balcony into the atrium, which seems really nice until it’s midnight and the noise is carrying all the way up thanks to the acoustics. (The manager offered to move me, but I was leaving the next day.) I would recommend an outside room for that reason. I would stay here again in an outside room. I had dinner the first night in the restaurant. The service was slow and the portions are very small considering what you pay. For example, I ordered a house dinner salad and did a chicken upcharge. I got 6 small slices of egg (maybe half an egg) and half a chicken breast. There was lots of romaine, but the other parts of the salad were scant.

Love watching the boats from this hotel. The ferry stops by the hotel. It is fun to stroll or jog by the river on the walkway that goes right by the hotel.
