You have to make sure you request to clean your room or they will not. You may have to request 3 to 4 times before they even come and clean your room. We had an incident that the elevators went out, so be prepared just in case. The pool was closed for maintenance one day so we had to use the Holiday Inn pool, which is very inconvenient. there was no pool towels at the pool when it was open so you had to ask once again.. A breakfast was OK might need more waffle makers there was always a big line. Matthew was air conditioner units and construction STEFAN bartender was one of the best

We loved this location because we could walk to River Street for shopping, dining, and site seeing. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. One of the two elevators was out of service and that was a bit frustrating on check-out day, but otherwise not bad. The open air pool on the top floor was amazing!

We stayed at this location in December and truly enjoyed our stay so decided to come back in July and it was the worst experience! Our room was dirty and smelled of dog…smoke alarm went off in the early morning!!! Manager on duty was not helpful at all, came up to our room and sprayed air freshener to help with the smell! We will try a different hotel next time we come to Savannah!

The lobby was cute. Our room had a lot of hair on several surfaces including all in the bathroom, nightstand table, balls of it all over the floor. The floor was filthy. The hotel did send someone up to quickly clean the concerns we had, which was appreciated. The area around the hotel was nice and very convenient.

The property was in a good location for sight seeing and restaurants. For a Hampton Inn, it was not as clean or well kept as others. Our room had a bad smell coming from the area around the fridge which made it unusable for our stay, our room floor was dirty and there was no soap/conditioner left in the shower.

The room was very dirty. The floor had crumbs and dirt everywhere. The shower floor needed to be scrubbed and the pull out sofa had tons of dirt, dust, food wrappers, phone charger and mattress was covered in mold. We took pictures and spoke to front desk who agreed with us and apologized sincerely and we were able to leave and will receive a full refund.

I booked the hotel last minute. I noticed some hairs on the bathroom floor, in the shower and on the door frame. The front desk said they would address it that morning. When we went back to the room, that afternoon, the beds were made but there were still the same hairs in the bathroom plus a hair pin that wasn’t there when we left. I won’t be staying there again.

We only stayed for one night. My kid woke up with ants on his bed, and there were cockroaches in the bathroom (four killed in the morning of check out). Still waiting for manager to contact us (5 days later). Have images of situation of room.

The property was a great location and central to all that Savannah has to offer. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable but the shower had many hairs in it, the bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing and the shower curtain was too short and barely touched the tub.

The staff was lovely. The air conditioning was a problem. Due to the sensor that cut the air back when no one was in the room the room was very warm when we came back for the afternoon/evening.

Great location, but, breakfast very cheap, paper plates, plastic forks and knives etc etc. We were upgraded to a bigger room, it turned out facing the main street... With non sound proofed Windows, so imagine the noise from the cars and trucks all day and night. In room safe.... Nope, safe is only at the front desk. . The mattress was old, squeaking and V shaped(not even in the middle), so very uncomfortable.Front desk staff was very nice and courteous even the breakfast staff was great. Honestly not worth the 250 45 valet paid.

Room was new, huge TV, great bathroom. Awesome bed. Manager was training a new employee and we felt welcomed and part of the process. Valet was convenient ($45) and worth it. Location is excellent. Only complaint is traffic noise on the street side (maybe ask to be on the other side) but it wasn’t really that bad. Great value, great people, great room.

The staff here by is so kind and courteous. They have someone in the lobby selling trolley tickets and the stop is right outside the door. It’s across from the River street shops and a few blocks from the Market area. The location just can’t be beat. There is a parking garage just right across the street if you don’t need valet service. We have a pickup truck and there was room on the top floor for it without a problem. The beds and bedding and pillows were so very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with the location, service and comfort, especially at this price point. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to it.

Great location, convenient, friendly and helpful staff, complementary breakfast/coffee. The kids enjoyed the pool which had a great view. Our room faced E Bay Street, so some might say it was a bit noisy on a weekend night, but this really wasn’t a major issue for us.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby and breakfast area were clean. The only comfortable seating was in the breakfast area. The seating in the lobby was very uncomfortable. The room had a sofa bed and it was impossible to get comfortable on it. The chair at the desk was terrible. The room was nice size, but one half of it was terribly dark. There was no lamp or light that would make things a lot much better access. The bed was very comfortable. Not the most comfortable hotel to stay at. I wouldn’t come back.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge was fabulous and helped us navigate the tours. The valet parking guys were the BEST I have ever worked with. They actually spoke and cared about our needs and went out of their way to accommodate our late leaving time. They get 5 Stars.

Requested their every other day housekeeping but they didn’t respond. The staff was not responsive, nor affable and did not want to rectify issues. I arrived at 2:30pm, Check-In was 3pm, my room was not ready. They took my phone number and said they would call me when it was ready. I toured around for 3 hours, never getting a phone call. I finally called them and they stated they overlooked calling. The morning breakfast was substantial.

The staff was so friendly and made sure everything was so good. Even went above and beyond to make sure our 90 year old uncle was taken care of and even made us drinks in the lobby without having a bartender. I def recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff at the valet parking were so helpful and outgoing and once again made sure to help us get our uncle around town bc he can’t walk to much. Def will go back!!!!

It was extremely disappointing. We tried to check in at 3:05 PM when check in is clearly at 3:00 PM. I did not receive a call until 3:41 that my room was available. Secondly, the fire alarm went off at 2:45 AM for about 5 minutes. Obviously, not the fault of the hotel, but checking in late was a bit ridiculous when I am paying full price, but not getting my room for the full time promised.

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly!! You do have to pay to valet, but that’s with most hotels in Savannah due to no parking! Breakfast was good and lady at concierge was helpful! Great location and within walking distance to a lot of the restaurants and shops!

We arrived the staff was friendly, helpful. We had a group of five. They gave us connecting rooms. Both rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great the attendants were super friendly and helpful. The pool on the roof was nice place to cool off and perfect place to overlook the river. The hotel is conveniently located right across from River walk and shopping. Definitely will be back.

The staff at the hotel is great! I even asked the general manager for some recommendations which he was happy to oblige. Anytime I had a question I would ask someone working at the desk or in the lobby and they would be super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and we had no issues at this property. We enjoyed the rooftop pool even though it was a little too chilly to swim, we could lay in the sun and take in the view from above. Hotel is in a great location for getting to all the places, although I’m told by locals the square behind the hotel is the worst because of homeless community there. They don’t bother anyone as you pass through but it’s not a square you want to sit down in and hang out. But there are plenty of other places to go. You can walk everywhere if you don’t mind some places take 20 min or more but you don’t notice because there is so much to see. We discovered our hotel is a 3 min walk to Sekkas bike shop and on our last full day, we rented bikes and saw so many things in a short amount of time, including getting to every square during our 5 day visit. Enjoyed Savannah greatly with my daughters!

Hampton Inn was in a great walkable location convenient to many local attractions. Surrounding area is busy with many tourists. Plenty of dining options but it was nice to have breakfast available on site. They also had a rooftop pool. Our bath was spacious but shower curtain didn’t do much to prevent water from escaping to toilet area, Beds could have been more supportive, Pillows too flat. Rooms did have a microwave and refrigerator which was useful. Front desk was helpful and concierge helped us book activities during our stay.

Hotel was very clean, in a great location, pool view was awesome, the staff was great and a covered smoking area with a bench. My 4 star is because they tried to serve us white sausage patties and hard, uncooked potatoes. Had to go buy breakfast, was not good at all.
