Stayed 2 nights

I simply spent 3 days and 2 nights to go to the Universal parks. For the price you get exactly what you'd expect. I will say the room was actually very clean as well as the toilet and tub. Funnily enough, it was a cleaner room than the Hilton that I stayed in across from the Universal parks. I would not suggest their breakfast but they're near enough places and only a few minutes away from the Florida Mall. If you're in a bind or need low cost hotel, there are definitely much worse choices. There are NO Elevators so keep that in mind. I'd recommend this location after I've had 2 seaparate trips months apart and have enjoyed my stay.

The exterior pictures on hotels.com are nothing like the actual inn. There was some magic lighting used in those pictures. The building is old and neglected. The AC in the check in lobby did not work and the staff had to swelter through it. The brick is crumbling around certain corners of the building. The better of the carts had a wheel that literally wobbles and almost broke off. We were placed in a third floor room-but the elevator was out of service. The ice machine was out of service. Surprisingly the room itself was clean and serviceable even if for the one night. We were not advised of when breakfast was until we called downstairs and were told it was over. Look elsewhere for similar coat and find a better stay!

This is an old hotel, I will say low class (cheap). The room was nicely restored and very clean. The general feel of the hotel is that of a low class hotel but not scary or dirty. We stayed there just for the night before our cruise, and thank God we did, because our flight was delayed almost seven hours. The port shuttle will pick you up at this hotel if you request so. For a one night kind of stay or if you are in a budget, it is a good place to stay. Breakfast was included, nothing fancy but you get something before hitting the road. I really appreciated the fact that the room was very clean and fairly comfortable. The air conditioner was old but in working order, and the staff was friendly and accomodating.

The staff was very nice. The hotel is very run down. I was on the 2nd floor. Elevator not working. Ice machine broke. My wifi didn’t work and I had no phone in my room to call the front desk which was very unsettling. AC very loud.
