This was close by to where we needed to be. It was also a middle point for some things we had planned on doing in Orlando. However, we were not impressed with the parking. There is not enough parking in their parking lot for all the guests to park when busy. You have to park across the street in a different lot and there is not easy access to get from one parking lot to the next. Breakfast options were also very limited and elevator was extremely slow. Most the time we ended up taking the stairs to the floor we needed.

The hotel is quite nice for the price. The major drawback was that the rear elevator was the only one that worked. Pulling luggage to the back of the building at checkin was a serious inconvenience. As a mobility-impaired person, the availability of only one, slow elevator made me anxious. Also since we parked near the rear elevator, we were forced to enter and leave via steps because there was no ramp to the parking lot.

The pool was filthy and hot tub at night and also in the morning. Which was extemely disappointed the pictures of the pool being clean never seen a pool that filthy before. The elevator was broken near room so had to walk 4 flights of stairs still had to walk the whole hall way when a different elevator was discovered the other elevator that was broken was right near room. The pool also didnt open till 9 am not that i would of swam in it. Not like that. I love swimming and i read the reviews and most were good but my experience was just sad and disappointing especially that the room that was purchased was for the pool room and it wasn't nice to look at all. A nice clean pool and hot tub would of been relaxing hut i didnt get that experinece. The room itself was fine and bed comfortable but very upset

It was pretty average. I've stayed at better and I've stayed at worse. The pros include proximity to UCF, the hot tub, friendly and helpful staff, and a decent sized room. The cons include a musty smell, a bed that sinks in, sticky surfaces, and a scorching shower.

I have learned my lesson when it comes to staying in pet-friendly hotels. The room we were assigned had a flea infestation. As soon as we entered the room and walked across the carpet, dozens of fleas were on our shoes and legs. Before we realized what was happening, we had tossed down our backpacks, luggage and the fuzzy blanket my wife had been carrying. All of our stuff had fleas on it. We gathered our belongings and exited the room as quickly as possible. The front desk clerk was apologetic and gave us a different room. I asked for a room on a floor that doesn't allow pets. Instead, he upgraded us to a suite on a pet-friendly floor and told me they don't normally assign the suite to those traveling with pets. For the rest of the night, we were still dealing with fleas in the new room. It was impossible to say whether the new room also had fleas or whether we took them into the suite with us. Regardless, with certainty, that room did have fleas by the time we checked out a day early the next morning.

There were issues with the TV being cracked, disgusting coffee maker, Hallway vents dirty and moldy, water stains on ceilings. Property not well maintained. Took the disgusting coffee maker to the front desk, they said we will get you a new one and all they did was rince out the one I brought and hand it back to me. They did not even try to hide the fact as it was wet inside the maker. Afterwards the coffee maker still had hair in it. Also, toilet bowl was cracked inside. This was not on housekeeping. It was on management.

The hotel was nice, clean and the staff were inviting and friendly. I was just there for a 1 night stay as we were visiting for our son’s graduation. Only complaints was that the bathroom had zero water pressure making it very difficult to shower and the a/c in the room didn’t cool well enough.

Overall had a good stay. Water pressure was great and had warm water. Property was clean and staff was nice. Room was clean. Some negative were the room a/c would never regulate itself and was cold one minute hot the next. Shower head needed replacing but functioned as should. Water had a funny smell to it. Tv was super basic and didn't have Netflix, apps, or Chromecast. Lastly need was stiff, but pillows were great.

We chose LaQuinta because my son had stayed at the same hotel in March and had a great experience. However, since he was with us this time as well and could offer a fair comparison, I decided to post this review and will start with the negatives. First, I will begin with the bathroom. Notably, the shower/tub combo was old and looked disgusting. There were reddish stains in a three-inch diameter area around the drain. There was also loose/ missing caulking where the tub ended and the shower walls began. Moreover, we received an almost-empty bottle of conditioner and no body lotion. Secondly, in terms of the room amenities, the tv was faulty; the volume was low even though we put it up to the maximum possible volume, and even that low volume glitched in and out, every few seconds. Now for the positives: The staff was helpful and provided us with additional conditioner and body lotion immediately. Plus, the hotel was quiet. Finally, the breakfast was good. Overall this was a “meh” experience, especially since my son noted that his previous stay in a different room was excellent in comparison.

There are several rooms you are not informed of that the sole window is fogged up with moisture trapped inside that does not allow for you to see out! No pool view. Why are the windows not replaced or the cases addressed? Why are you not informed “before” you book? Not told during check in. Not offered a different room or even a discount. Just given a canned apology No signs near the elevator or on your floor where the ice is. You have to seek or call to be told it’s not on every floor

Sorry this is long, Walked into and the room had a clean fresh smell, the room had a older but pleasant decor and was clean(spotless), house cleaning visited everyday and cleaned and replaced towels. (Except when I put out the do not disturb sign one day) 2. A/c. In room - 5 stars , hard to believe but I had to turn the A/C up . the room was a icy 68 degree's 3. amenities- 5 stars in room microwave,fridge and coffee maker w/ complimentary coffee packets. Ironing board and iron. TV has about 30 channels with showtime movies and was able to log on to netflix through TV. Oh yes and plenty of outlets. Outlet on the lamps, even the microwave Clock had outlets. And the walls of course. Bed was comfortable. Parking was great with secured access with your keycard that led straight to the elevator( no having to walk all the way around to the front desk entrance to get in) Most important was there are was absolutley no bugs. Quiet- though the 5th floor had all the rooms full there was no banging, loud tvs and such. The only complaint i have was there was no one there when I checked out.( may have had a bathroom break) I dropped my cards in an unsecured container. I travel to this area at least twice a year and as long as it stays this way. Last time here 4yrs ago had an issue with broken a/c in the halls(breakdowns happen)all in all a very pleasant experience.

OMG! 2 Night Stay for My Daughter's UCF Orientation. King Size Bed with Spacious Room. Worked Remotely and Absolutely No Issues with Wi-Fi Connection or Speed. Loved the Complimentary Toiletries Because They Were Dove Products! Last But Definitely Not Least.....Huge Shot Out to the Front Desk Both During Check-In and Check-Out! Scheduled Our Check-In for Approximately 10:30 PM But Construction Traffic on I75 Had Other Plans. Called the Front Desk to Update Our Arrival Time and They Were Totally Understanding! During Check-Out Which was Supposed Scheduled for 11 AM Did Not Exactly Go According to Plan. During Morning Drop Off Time 8 AM for Orientation Day, I Decided to Try a Nice Breakfast Spot Across from the Campus. Well Breakfast Spot was Great! But Exiting the Plaza, Not So Great! I was at Stop Sign Waiting for My Chance to Merge Onto Traffic When I was Hit from Behind By A Car. Needless to Say I Wasn't Able to Get Back for the 11 AM Check-Out. After Completing All the Traffic Accident Legalities....I Called the Front Desk in Panic Mood and Explained U was Rushing Back as Fast as I Could Because of What had Happened. Front Desk was Again So Amazing and Sympathetic! Extended My Check-Out Time to 1 PM with No Issues. Will Most Definitely Make This My Go-To Hotel When Visiting My Daughter! Thank So, So Much!

The property was great, room clean and staff at time of arrival was great. Only disappointment I had was the staff the day before checking in. My wife and I called the night before asking a couple questions about the check in process. One of the questions he could not answer and stated the customer who was standing in front of him was more important than us and our questions. We made that call the night of the 20th, and he stated he worked until 7am that next morning. Again, not sure of the name, but based on that shift it should be pretty easy to figure out. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.

Checking in to the Hotel was not the most pleasant experience. I was not immediately helped upon arrival and stood in front of the check in desk while the employee’s conversed. Finally, when the chat was complete I was greeted and when I presented a card that was my family members paying for the incidentals I was promptly told that was a no go and I would have to place my card on file since I booked the room. Needless to say; I was upset but I did it anyway. I have never experienced that before; however we were in Orlando near a college campus so I am sure they have had some issues with students using parents cards without the parents knowledge. Once in the room, the bathroom sliding door was broke so we had to put towels up so no one would see you use the bathroom. The tv in the common area was burned in and be watched and anytime you attempted to interact with the front desk staff it was like pulling teeth. They had no personality, I mean the most pleasant people; the housekeepers and maintenance men were the best. They were personable and readily available to have a conversation. They always had a smile and were very polite. The front desk staff was horrible and need to take direction from the above. Honestly, as a business owner one can tell the leadership at this location is lacking whomever is the leader is telling the front desk staff to be firm and unapologetic; while at the same time telling the housekeepers and maintenance staff to be accommodating and deferential

The exterior grounds were well-kept and the main lobby was also very well done along with the staff that we met initially. However, the elevator was extremely slow and there was no indicator light telling you what floor the elevator was on at any given time. Also, light bulbs missing in the elevator. We stayed on the second floor and it was apparent that this was an older hotel needing painting. Nevertheless the room was comfortable, but the TV in the suite did not work and maintenance did not respond to resolve this problem immediately. I was without a TV during my stay.

The night staff is absolutely horrible! Jeff is very rude and disrespectful. We had an a/c that didn't work properly. Also our room was not what we booked, we were given a handicapped shower, instead of a tub, which was needed. He was very nasty when asked for a pillow for my child. He gave a couch pillow, then made the comment that oh you were the one to take our last pillow and now you need a blanket, you can't look in the drawer for one?! I asked for his name, he hung up on me. My husband went down to get the blanket and he asked for his name. He told him if he wanted his name to get it from his manager in the morning (very rudely). We were not told when breakfast was, had to call Wyndham reservations to get the time. This was the worst stay EVER!

They need to change up the breakfast as it’s the same every day. We were there for a week and after the first day, we just didn’t eat breakfast there anymore. Turkey sausage links and waffles every day just don’t work.. Walked into the room and the air conditioner was apart. There was no maintenance person so with a staff member watching over me I put it back together. Had an issue with the TV finally got fixed. But it really wasn’t working as it would keep going on and off at night, so I had to unplug it. My best experience.
