We love the hard rock hotel! The vibe is so much fun and lively. It is extremely clean and convenient to the city walk! I know the hard rock has been there a while, and this is to be expected, however, it is starting to need some updating in the guest rooms. The Body Roc room is wonderful along with the sauna. I was pleasantly surprised to find razors and mouthwash In the shower room near the pool. We will definitely be back!

Great location and so close to Universal. Very walkable. The pool staying open till 10 o’clock at night was awesome. The poolside DJs are great. Loved the games especially the 45 min frozen towel thaw game that help solidify friends the rest of the stay.

Great hotel with helpful staff. Location is excellent for the Universal Parks (short walk/boat ride). Pool area is fun with activities during the day - not really for swimming but chilling and cooling down with a fun slide too.

Absolutely excellent place to go with or without kids! Staff is more than friendly and courteous . Everything is clean. And service is prompt. The only thing that is so small to me but may affect someone else differently is our phone in the room didn’t work a few times I thought to order room service but couldn’t because the line was not functioning. Like I said a very small thing to me didn’t matter we just went out to eat instead. Other a phenomenal experience!!

Overpriced and overated and outdated.We were thinking it would be the highlight of our 4 hotel stays but apart from location, express passes and water taxis i do not rate this hotel.The bathroom door kept sticking the hinges squealed the skirtings were all marked and the desk chair was a disgrace.

My daughter’s clothes, room pass card, and money were stolen from her sun lounger. Bearing in mind there were no sign posted lockers or any visible. You need to take your room key with you as it gives you access into the pool area. 3 members of staff I spoke to about helping me locate it and none were helpful at all. In fact the manger was down right rude. The guy on reception when I went back the following morning to see if the items had been handed in said. “ you know times are hard nowadays. People will take opportunity’s to take stuff, you win some you lose some “. Absolutely disgusting!! Bearing in mind she had just spent $27 on the lanyard and holder to hold her pass as you need the room key card to access all your park extras so not only did she lose her belongings and her money she lost them I eh she also spent on the items. I will not stay here again. The hotel is beautiful but if you look closer the carpets are stained and dirty.

Great hotel and easy access to the Universal parks. Rooms are quite small, especially with two teenagers. Corridors at nighttime are a playground for kids and drunken adults. We heard lots of screaming and shouting at 2am most nights. Pool gets busy so don’t expect to find a decent sun lounger after 1pm.

For the price this hotel is on the average side. Focusing on the room, the amenities provided had been used, there were water stains on the wallpaper next to the sink area, chipped skirting boards, the room over all looked outdated and needed a refresh. The restaurants and shops and bars are overpriced but that is to be expected with the type of hotel. The check in and text service was very efficient.

Standard small size room. Dusting in places but otherwise ok. Had a flat roof with very little other view out the window and workers on the roof first thing in the morning....not a very pleasant way to wake when you open the curtains to some strangers outside looking in. Convient for the parks and the express passes were a bonus.....otherwise not worth the price tag at all.

Hard Rock Hotel recently went through a Renovation. Doesn’t change the fact that it is a 24 year old structure. All of the common areas were very nice. Updated rooms still had some issues. A/C unit in room did not keep the room cool at all. In my Queen / Queen room I had a Queen / Double bed. For $1,300 per night…. I don’t think so…. 7th floor Club Floor Lounge, the service was excellent, the food options were not so good. I’m not likely to stay here again, if I do, it will not be on the club level. Hotel Management was very nice and helpful. The Rooms are just old, been tho the renovation make things better.

Very much a mixed bag. Since we were only there one night we must have been a low priority for their room choice. The workers were good. Place was clean. for $800+ you would think the room would have a view, but no we stared right at a roof 30 ft away and even better spotlights shining into our room all night from the roof. Refrig cabinet also did not close all the way and hit my shin on it at 3am since it stayed 4 inches open.

We usually love our stay at Hard Rock but this was a little disappointing. We requested a quiet room, however we were put in a room directly above the big air conditioning units which ran all night. We could sleep with ear plugs in, so didnt request to move but having requested a quiet room we were a little surprised! The room itself was also a bit tired looking and shabby which again is unusual for Hard Rock.

Whilst on a recent Disney holiday we decided to book the Hard Rock for one night to take advantage of the express pass offer. Arrived at 10am and Paige in reception was very accommodating and managed to find us a room early which was hugely appreciated. We could then leave our belongings safely in the room whilst accessing Universal, which was a five minute walk away. Our 9 year old loved everything about the hotel, especially all of the memorabilia located around. All facilities looked clean and menus on offer looked amazing. Great stay as expected from the Hard Rock Hotel brand, would definitely recommend and also return in the future!

Excellent location and can’t beat the perks of the included Express Unlimited pass. Front desk was very helpful and got us distilled water for our CPAP machines so we didn’t have to leave the hotel to find a store. The club was very nice to grab a quick snack, although it wasn’t worth the added cost of $200/night. Plenty of food for breakfast and dinner, but very slim pickings for lunch (just chips and cookies).

This was our fourth time staying here and it has gone DOWN HILL. Booked rock royalty level and it was not worth it. Got to the hotel early and was told our room would be ready in “a few hours” so we swam for the afternoon. When we checked to see if our room was ready 3hrs later, we were met with the most rude staff who couldn’t answer a simple question. Finally got our room and card didn’t work. They made us wait HOURS. Our room was never cleaned during our entire visit which we felt was intentional because we expressed our frustration. TDLR save your money and stay anywhere else but hard rock.

Arrived at 20:30 with my wife and baby, only then they let us know that They where having renovations on the floor below, and that everyday there was gona be a lot of really laud noises, and also no running water from 9 am to 17:00pm , they only let us know that when checking in, absurd when paying a 700 dollar daily, the least they should offer is a good discount, or let us know in advance about this trouble ,also i asked for a baby crib that wasnt there when i arrived, and it took then more than a hour to bring one, it was 22:00 pm, and my baby was sleeping, overall woulf never stay there again, people on the front desk difnt seem to care about any of this, just keept their smug faces and smiles, thats why Disney thrives every year, there is no competition!! Not even close

The hotel theme is cool. Service experience is left wanting. Feels like they just look for things to upsell. Start to take it personally when they misspeak your name 3 times in a 5 minute conversation. I have a very simple and common name. Check in took at least 20mins when we finally reached the desk. Don’t think they liked the fact that we are only staying one night. The hotel is clean but seems like it took longer to reach city walk than Saphire Falls (lower priced hotel in the universal chain - loved that experience this week btw). Will not be staying at Hard Rock in the future even with the discount for express passes.

Very close to the parks which was great. The pool temperature was surprisingly cool for the end of April which was disappointing. The food and drink prices were higher than other universal resorts.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgable. Room was was comfortable and clean. The text message service was great. Quickly responded too and always with friendliness - nothing to big or small. Asked for some English breakfast tea for the room and it was delivered swiftly. The bar and pool were great..a bit pricey but expected. Getting express passes for Universal (2 days per day booked) was amazing and worth worth the cost to stay.

Good stay but it could have been better considering the price, the rooms are big but basic not much decoration or personalization that you could expect for a theme park -1 star for the value for money. At arrival after a 10 hours drive you could expect a nice restaurant, it’s 9:30pm the restaurant “the palm” close at 10pm…. Good timing…. Not, personnel unhappy to see us arriving a bit late, telling us “only reservation after 9:30pm…. You could smell BS and Low customer care for a mile on their faces: - 1 star. Ordered room service the other night, carrots are here just for decoration…. They are old, left on a shelf for days and even black, don’t give you much confidence for the oily saggy food, seriously at this price…. : - 1 star. Last day, check out super easy, the pool is super family friendly and Kristen at our service was just perfect : + 1 star. Total 3 star, we will go back in Universal studio but not sure we choose Hard Rick Hotel next time

Hotel was amazing! Club level benefits unfortunately were a miss for us. Food selection for breakfast were the same everyday-with scrambled eggs and cold lunch meat ham slices being the only "protein" offered. Evening options were just as unappealing. Dessert was very boring as well. More protein packed options would have been awesome ex: Nuts, granola bars, etc. Definitely did not feel we got our money's worth with per day with Club Level. Other than that, everything was good.

We received a friendly welcome on arrival and were able to check into our room early. We stayed on Club Lounge level 7 which was definitely worth it for us. We were able to have breakfast, snacks, desserts, drinks and even small meal for dinner on occasions. Coffee was good. We mostly took this back to our room as it was often to busy to sit in there. Happy hour offered a variety of beer and wine options. Our room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The club rooms dont offer a pool view however we had a lovely view of the Butterfly Garden and Lake! No balcony. We didn't use our coffee machine as we had coffee and tea options all day in the club lounge. The foyer is huge and has a good vibe with music playing, a gift shop and they offer pink lemonade and lemon water during the day which is refreshing after a day out! Water taxi is convenient when it happens to be there as you are leaving for parks otherwise it seems like a 15 minute wait.The walk is very close to Universal Studios! You will be required to put your belongings through security either boat side or park side to enter the City Walk. Pool is great and we sat on the sandy beach side. You can scan for the bar or food menu and it is brought to you. The pool isnt very deep in any part so beware if you are an adult trying the slide you do hit the bottom. They showed a movie at night which is fun! Plenty of towels available pool side. We loved the location and convenience of the parks!
