Everything was awesome! Check in was a breeze especially because I got to do early check in. The room was so cute and clean. Checkout was awesome! I checked out the pool and got some sun. The weather was a little breezy so I would’ve liked to go into the hot tub but there was no water in it so maybe it was under construction. Overall, I would stay here again!

Property is clean but very outdated. However, our room since we arrived smelled like food. We opened the windows and used our room spray to no success. The smell until we check out was the same despite of continuously spraying with BBW. It needs some renovation especially with ventilation. Goodness points for this place are the friendly staff, free parking, 24 hour laundry area, and free airport shuttle.

The room was very clean and spacious. However the elevator was not working….and there was no one to assist with our luggages. Very inconvenient. We got a room on the second floor which made it very tedious upon checking in and checking out. Other than that, not a bad place to stay.

This is a three-story hotel which during my stay had NO WORKING ELEVATOR!! Staff offer to help with luggage, however, on move-out, I was told to put my luggage in the staircase so someone would carry it down. What happened in reality was that this person took three token things, then left again, making me run up and down the stairs three times by myself. Guess that wasn't his problem. There is no adequate supply of ice in the hotel. There are no ice makers in the hallways, and the little ice maker in the freezer is too slow for even one person's normal rate of ice consumption. If you are on a road trip and want to service your cooler, forget it! The hotel is clean, modern, and the rooms are in good shape.

We wouldn’t recommend this poroperty until we go back again. Our room had roaches and ants in our room. Outside by pool area had a different kind of ants. Couldn’t sit on the covered bench area without ants crawling on you and all on the table. Couldn’t put food on table. The staff responded well, they didn’t act shocked, but willing to change our room.

Horrible front desk service. Key did not work, full of shopping bags and not even an apology that I had to return to take care of it. Hotels.com messed up and actually overbooked. I was on my way over in an uber when I got a call letting me know that they didn’t have a room for me. I decided to continue to the hotel and go to the lobby to check. Julie and Luce were nice and tried extra hard to work their magic to get me a room. They found a room for me that was an upgrade for all the trouble even though it wasn’t the hotels fault. They went above and beyond. Definitely will come back when I’m in the Miami area. The free washer and dryers at the hotel were also a nice amenity that I would have used if I wasn’t just staying one night

My stay at Sonesta Simply Suites Miami Airport Doral was fantastic! If you are reading this review to make a decision for your hotel stay, you can definitely book this hotel without hesitation! The check-in and check-out is very smooth. Cards only no cash. You would need to deposit $100 security money while check-in which is refundable. The room is very big, nice and has all necessary arrangements for longer stays with a beautiful bathroom. They also got complimentary swimming pool, on site parking, laundry and gym. The environment of the hotel and surrounding is very beautiful, clean and calm. Thanks for making my vacation memorable.

We had a layover in Miami so we were only here one night….wouldn’t stay otherwise Reviews were very good which is why I choice it…staff at front desk were excellent! Room was fine and served its purpose. It was about 20 mins from airport so keep that in mind for traffic. We didn’t have a car and nothing was walkable so we ordered food Shuttle service….we got on the Sonesta shuttle at the airport which is NOT the correct shuttle. You need to make sure that it says Sonesta Simply Suites! Again, the hotel was fine, served it’s purpose for a one night layover but would pick differently if there was a next time

Just slightly off the freeway where it's quieter, this hotel offers better facilities than its famous neighbors for a lower price. Rooms are spacious with full facilities for longer stays. There's a park out the back which would be a wonderful wildlife walk. Unfortunately it was under construction when I was there. Regular shuttles to the airport, a laundry and a gym were additional good features of this hotel.

The hotel was clean, and most of the staff was friendly. However, there are no restaurants within walking distance, so renting a car is recommended as Uber can be expensive.
