Older property with pool & hot tub. People were always partying at the pool. Staff were really nice, especially John, went above and beyond. Super clean room! No AC but nights were cool. Parking was free and location is great.

We stayed 1 night and our room was very clean. Of course it’s an older property but very quiet, nice heated pool and hot tub, friendly staff and easy parking. There was free breakfast as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

The parking is not convenient, but the property is good.

It was difficult to take my luggage down the stairs. No elevator I think they should let people know that you have to take stairs.

Convenient, not fancy but everything we needed. So close to the free bus to Aspen and the airport. Simple breakfast included. Adjacent to restaurants, shops, chairlift. Pool and hot tub were clean.

Found out upon arrival that there isn’t direct parking for this motel, but small parking areas along the steep hill leading up to it. We checked in on a Thursday and apparently there are free concerts in the proximity of the motel on Thursday nights during the summer. Due to this we had to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up after 8 hours of being in the car. This could not be avoided, but a heads up email would have been nice so we were prepared for that. It’s very upsetting when you’re dead tired and just want to lay down! Also, this motel does not have air conditioning which we also didn’t find out until arrival. There was a box fan in the room that was very very loud. We were told to put it in the window facing out to cool the room. This would work unless you had the room we did on ground level and directly in front of a pool shared by three motels. We couldn’t leave because we would lose our parking space at the bottom of the hill and couldn’t hear the tv over the fan and 20ish people in the pool. When leaving the room or sleeping we didn’t want to leave the window open and so suffered a hot and loud night of misery! We walked out to the parking area to look at stars and there was a man screaming obscenities and provoking a fight for about 20 minutes before we went back in to drown it out with the fan. I was going to politely mention these things when we were leaving but wasn’t asked how my stay was.

Older building, carefully maintained. Snowmass Mall is across the street. Five minute walk to skiing. Village and Aspen bus stops closer. Outside entry to most rooms; snow can cover walkways. No elevator. Parking off site.

A comfortable room, not real new. Lots of steps to get around in and around the facility. No elevator. Good location.

The property was conveniently located to public transportation. The staff were both friendly and polite. Our room was very clean, and so were the surroundings .

We did not realize there would be no air conditioning. The room was stuffy and hot. We were able to get an extra fan to have some air flowing. The ice bucket had trash and hair in it when we opened to get some ice. The desk clerk asked if we had put it in there. A new bucket was eventually brought to us. Our reservation was for a king bed, but we were given 2 queen beds. The desk clerk stated they did not have a king available, but there was someone who was checking in when I waiting in line for the ice bucket and he was given a king bed when he asked for one.

The carpet is old and smelly. The breakfast equipments are out of order, etc

Nice clean property, amazing views and near many trails. Access to transportation to Aspen and other areas of Snowmass. Staff helpful and friendly. Free breakfast always a plus!

There was no air conditioning in July and this was not mentioned in the description. The window would not open and the narrow door to the balcony was the only ventilation. The cleaning was poor, with the carpet, the floor, the toilet and the counters not being cleaned daily or at all. Disgusting. I would not stay at again nor would I recommend. We left two days early even though the room was paid for, because we were just that miserable.

This property is old , no elevator with dirty bed. when we asked to change the sheets they immediately came and changed the sheets. Service is good.

Amenities and the room over all was well equipped and clean.

The hotel is across the street from the mall and bus depot going to Aspen. No air conditioning unit in the room which was stated on the website. If you’re coming in the summer it might be a problem, although there is an electric fan provided. We could hear people talking outside as we have to leave the window open.

WiFi was extremely weak and mostly dead.

Too noisy during night from upstairs. Had issues with check in due to some mistake by staff , got upgraded room but lot of noise from outside n top floor

Very affordable for the Aspen area. Fine for a night or two. Just old and small rooms.

The staff were great. The gentleman that checked us in was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The patio outside the room could use a spray and sweep. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

The place did not have proper air conditioning. We were suffocated and unable to get sleep all night.

It was ok. Not so great for July because no air conditioning. It’s old and small. Bed and pillows need to be replaced. All furnishings need to be replaced. Bathroom is tiny. For the price it was fine but there are better options close by.

The staff were all so kind, helpful and great resources regarding what to do in the area. The gal who helped us when we checked in even carried a bunch of our luggage to our room for us! The rooms are very spacious.

The staff at the Pokolodi Lodge was very friendly and informative. Parking was a breeze and the added convenience of free mass transit service to Aspen was an added plus to avoid the congestion and hassle of parking downtown. The pool was well maintained and the retail village located conveniently next door had plenty of dining and drinking options, even during the summer slow season when we were there. The Continental breakfast was pretty much the standard waffles, coffee, toast, bagels, cereal and orange juice. Overall it was a great stay.

Bad customer service.

Dave at the front desk was great! Super hospitable and down to earth. Enjoyed our stay, it’s a great location for exploring in the summer. Rooms were super clean and beds were comfortable. Having the mall across the street and the ski lift to the village was convenient for sure.

The staff at the front desk, Seth and Marshall, were very helpful. They gave me clear directions to transit to and from the Denver Airport. This saved time and money. The complimentary breakfast was in a very well lit spacious setting with large windows to view the surrounding snow capped mountains. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We were thrilled to be able to get the last room during a snow storm in Snowmass that cancelled our flight out. David and John went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help out. I highly recommend this hotel for the location, the staff, and the view.

The staff treated me so well, always willing to help, and really looked out for me as a solo female traveller! I won’t hesitate to come back!

Boring. Outdated. Get an elevator already! But our biggest problem was the front desk speaking so RUDELY to me when he called about us bring 45 min “late” checking out. You’d think the Royal family was coming in next for our room! Which they WOULD NEVER! Requested late checkout at checkin. That’s not good enough for this poorly managed place. THEY insist you call EARLY in the morning to request a late checkout. The whole point of a late check off is to SLEEP later — which we needed very much due to the altitude affecting our ability to sleep at all for 2 nights in a row. Lousy attitude at front desk and “hotel policy” as their excuse, will guarantee WE WILL NOT BE BACK!

We loved the pool and outdoor space. Also, the property is literally next door to the Snowmass mall so that was super convenient!

Pokolodi lodge is a nice motel with a great location next to snowmass mall. We were steps away from the slopes and to the bus stop to pick up a ride to Aspen. I would recommend to anyone who wants a clean, well run place to stay with a great location.

Economical (relatively for Aspen). Clean, friendly staff, good location.

Given a great room on second-level with the Pool and Spa easily accessible! Room was very clean and had everything we needed. With the mall that has several restaurants right across the street, this is a great location! Would definitely stay here again! Easy 5 Stars!

It was a great place to stay to hike in the area and close to walking to restaurants.

So this lodge has history..one of the first built in Snowmass. That being said..it is an old lodge but renovated and maintained extremely well. Best location...by the Village Mall and all the shuttles. I would stay there again.

Location great

Right across from Snowmass Mall and local shuttle service. Location is the best, parking across street. Clean, comfortable and quiet.

The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The laundry is very reasonable. No A/C, and no protein for breakfast. The waffle is good.

First summer visit to a ski resort, so we didn't know what to expect. Happy to have the pool and hot tub open reasonable hours. The breakfast and lobby hours started at 7am - too late for us. The doors are actually locked. For this location, there are so many activities that prescribe an earlier start. People flooded the breakfast area at 7 sharp, so I don't think we were alone.

Nice pool and hot tub. Good front desk. Good coffee and breakfast was good too. Nice location to mall, and local music festival near ski lift in summer season. I enjoyed my 2 days there.

This is a wonderful location right next to dining and transportation options. The owners were wonderful. The breakfast was okay but need to go elsewhere for decent coffee. Parking was sometimes inconvenient

Hotel room is reasonably sized, small bathroom, uncomfortable pillows. What really left me disappointed was the breakfast. very few options, it's not worth paying for it. It's better to have coffee at the options near the hotel. Good room cleaning service

The breakfast was very disappointing. First, it doesn't come with the typical scramble eggs, sausage, potato etc. We were not picky as this could have been be easily compensated if other food are fully available. Unfortunately, the breakfast kept chatting in Spanish behind the counter with another lady during the breakfast hours during our two-day stay. They ran out yogurt at 7:40 and, when asked, the lady loudly and angrily replied "No More" and then kept chatting. She doesn't even come out to re-fill other empty items or replace the overflow trash bins. I wish we could just go pick up from the storage/kitchen ourselves. We were so helpless for the two breakfasts we had in late September 2025. I should had stayed somewhere else.

Stay was ok but complimentary breakfast is not that good

No A/C. Had to use the loud fan all night. Not comforting sleep in the night. Internet Wi-fi speed was very slow. Breakfast was terrible. Hard to get someone's attention at the frontdesk.
