Hotel is average. Its clean. Staff were nice but not enough of them so we had to wait to get help. At checkout, they were busy so we had to drop off keys and write our info down so they can check us out later. The pool area is horrible. Cracked copping all around, mold and algae in the pool. Breakfast was typical.

South entry door was broken, propped open with a rock for the stay. Key card didn’t work and front desk said they had a new system. Weird room layout, no bathroom fan, the place just felt outdated and poorly maintained. Pile of broken room refrigerators by the ice machine on our floor. Breakfast seemed okay, similar to other continental breakfasts. Gym was decent. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

The pool was disgusting and covered in mold, they should be ashamed for having it open, the elevator was broken, the bathrooms don't have locks, their pillows are terrible, the Netflix on the TV didn't work, their "market" was completely empty, and theyre toiletries consisted of two bottles of conditioner but no shampoo or lotion.

To get this out of the way, the guys at the front desk were terrific. Only spoke to them at check in but they were very friendly and nice to our pups. I’ve stayed at La Quintas quite a bit because of how dog friendly they are and are usually so clean. This is probably the worst I’ve stayed at as far as the room goes. The room smelled like a humane society. I get its dog friendly, but so are many other hotels that don’t smell like that. Everywhere we go is dog friendly, this should be no different. They hadn’t swept or wiped anything down from the previous stay. The floor was disgusting, there were coffee splatters on the walls around the machine, and the fridge had splatters all over the front and was greasy. I was so nervous the bedding hadn’t been changed so I slept horribly. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train so we had to turn it off to get to sleep. We were woken up multiple times by our neighbor coming and going from midnight to 3am. On top of this, the back door we came in through was propped open with a rock with a sign on the door saying “temporarily out of service”. Our room was right by that open door so it was pretty unnerving. Also, people would come and go in the middle of the night and let the door slam against the rock and it was LOUD. There was an okay amount of grass around the property for dogs, especially being in a desert. I can’t speak to the rest of the facilities.

Overall it was an okay stay. My expectations weren’t all that high since it is more of a budget hotel. The staff were nice and responsive. The breakfast left me wanting. The room was spacious. The pullout bed was thin. The one thing that I couldn’t get over was the food leftover in the fridge as well as smears left in the toilet from previous guests. It made me question the true cleanliness of the room. We only needed somewhere to sleep for one night so it did the job but wasn’t anything elaborate.

The room was nice, check-in was fast, breakfast was ok, but the air conditioner sounded like a locomotive was running in the room. It didn't shut off once all night for some reason. We were very tired when we went to bed & didn't realize it was doing this until we settled down & tried to sleep. Due to the noice & constant blaring, it was difficult to sleep to say the least. If we hadn't been so tired & it having been so late when we got back to the room, I'd have asked for another room.

We had an OK stay, but we always make the comment that we don’t understand why hotels won’t purchase high-quality mattresses. Double beds with thin squishy old mattresses is very uncomfortable. There’s only one hotel in Grand Junction that offers a really good night sleep and it’s really expensive. You guys would do well to upgrade your mattress, mattresses and pillows.

The service here was amazing! Decent breakfast spread as well. The room was clean. Just a warning to those who stay here is the walls are paper thin. The person next door to me woke up at 4:30AM to use the bathroom and shower and it sounded like the person was literally in the room with me. It kept me awake and I couldn’t go back to sleep. Other than that, it was a nice stay!

The staff was very friendly, the daily breakfast was good, and the lobby, hallways, and rooms were clean. However, the pool was dirty, and the hot tub did not run properly—other guests mentioned this has been an ongoing issue for over a year. The room door was also difficult to close. The biggest disappointment was the beds. We paid for queen-size beds, but the hotel only had full-size beds. With our family, we booked two rooms—meaning all four beds were full-size, not queens as advertised. When we return to Grand Junction, we would probably look elsewhere before giving this location another chance for our business.

The AC was very loud, it sounded like a lawnmower. The next door neighbor was loud and obnoxious all hours of the night. You could hear him fighting with his wife on the phone in the middle of the night. He was so loud that you could hear everything he was saying. The phone in his room rang and rang for hours because he fell asleep early because worked construction all day. We didn't get to sleep all night. We called the front desk a couple of times.

Rooms were clean and beds were fine but the service was not great. I booked the rooms online then called to ask for adjoining rooms, as stated were available on the website. After much back and forth with a rather rude employee who would not actually listen to what I was saying I was told the rooms were booked as connecting rooms. We arrive at the property and try to check in and the rooms were not connected and our original booking was completely messed up. Very very frustrating.

Was given a room that was already occupied. Glad the guests weren’t in the room when we walked in! Can you imagine? Entry door to our hallway was broken and had to have a brick propping it a jar so you could get back in. The hall was freezing cold all night because of it. Horrible mattress. I want to acknowledge the young man who was at the front desk 5/23/25. I'm a woman traveling alone and he was very considerate of making me feel safe by asking what level floor I would prefer and by not mentioning that I had a reservation for one in front of the line of other guests checking in. He reassured me the conjoining door for my room was secure. I really appreciated his reassurance. I would recommend this stay to any other woman traveling solo, or just anyone who could benefit from having that extra consideration by the staff in a unique situation.

Comparatively new hotel near the regional airport, right off I-70. The place is in great shape, the room was large and the beds comfortable. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was standard for mid-price-range hotels. I found the nightly charge to be unexpectedly modest given the quality of the place. I'd go there again for sure. I liked being on the top floor. No noise from above. The beds were average at best. The pillows were below average. Bring your own if you can. The front desk personnel were great. The bathroom was a bit outdated. There was no fan in the bathroom. There were insufficient hooks or places to hang your towels or clothes in the bathroom. The room was nice overall. The breakfast had no fruit or orange juice. It was geared towards the unhealthy eating that we are trying to avoid - sugary cereal, muffins, plain bagels, yoplait sugar filled yogurt, and waffles. I was actually pretty shocked by the positive reviews of this hotel. When I booked, I knew the pool was seasonal only. But it was my understanding that the hot tub would be available. But upon check-in, I was told no hot tub either. Super disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable. Positive note it was clean. But that’s about all of us going for it.
