Great location at the foot of Buttermilk Mountain. Efficient, free, friendly shuttle service around Aspen, and close to Aspen free bus service. Nice hot tub and heated pool, good gym. Useful ski locker for each room. Comfortable lobby with gas fires. Rooms and corridors are a bit basic, service sometimes hit and miss.

Very friendly staff, right at the base of buttermilk (but they got a shuttle service that takes guests around Aspen, highlands, airport. ). Easy and free parking, restaurant is ok… they also have a very functional gym, heated pool and hot tub

We liked that the Buttermilk ski lifts were right behind the Inn. The room was recently updated and very comfortable. Having a restaurant/bar in the Inn was very convenient. We also appreciated having a free shuttle to take us to the other ski resorts.

Shuttle service to/from Aspen was excellent, makes it easy to stay out of downtown. Significant renovation underway, which was not disclosed when I reserved. That’s why price was more reasonable. No restaurant for breakfast, but there is a good expression machine.

The hotel offered a free shuttle to take me into Aspen, no charge but the driver will accept a tip. Also, there was a 24 hour free beverage station that had coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider, tea and hot/cold water. The room was very comfortable and the views were amazing. I walked right out of my patio door to hike the mountain behind the hotel. I would definitely recommend! Also, the food at the restaurant was very good. They even had non-alcoholic beer* There was no restaurant smell in our room.

You will be spending the night in a construction zone. The building is undergoing significant work including buckets set up within interior hallways to capture water flowing from the ceiling. More than half of the building is enveloped in scaffolding and the parking lot is the staging area for the materials which start at 6am through 7-8pm. Once construction starts at 8am, you will need to put up with hammering and drilling until 5pm. No amenities were available. hotel should not be open during this time and was appalled that it was and still charging such high fees. I would not have booked this many months ago had I known it was an ongoing construction project.

The hotel is very nice. It is clean and the rooms are good size. The down side is there are current renovations going on and the pool and hot tub are closed. It does not say that anywhere and we did not receive an email. The website says theres renovations, but nothing about the pool area. Also, the balcony on the rooms is closed off. We werent told until check in. It was why we chose this hotel

Clean & comfortable hotel, especially the bed & pillows. A good sized room with a kitchen area with a mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave & plates, silverware, etc. The on-site BBQ restaurant was delicious and quick service. For skiers, ski in/ski out with lockers would be great. Although not walkable to downtown, the hotel shuttle runs till 10:30 pm. The pool/hot tub area is going under a complete renovation this winter & will surely be fantastic when finished. Construction did not annoy me as it has to be done & I was out discovering the town during the day when work was going on. The room could use a little bit updating, but overall a great stay.

Upon checking the bed we found sheets with blood on them. We did have a kind sales associate offer to move rooms. We chose to just change linens. Very beautiful place. Needs to work on cleanliness of bedding.

The hotel was nice but the heater did not work, it was 11 degrees outside and we could not sleep because the heater was not working and the room was at 60 degrees. The windows also were old so cold air would come in.

Wish we would have known ahead of time that it would be under construction. Was loud in the morning and we weren’t able to enjoy a view on the balcony as the construction had taken it away. The lighting in the room is poor as well. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly.

Hotel is at Buttermilk/Tiehack area outside Aspen but has a convenient shuttle to and from town with helpful drivers. It is being renovated (needs to be) with scaffolding covering entire hotel and construction all day long. It is supposed to be ready by winter.

Overall this hotel has great potential but it’s under construction and it ruined our sleep and our stay. The lobby and rooms are very nice but the entire facade is being renovated and we were awaken each morning to banging and drilling at 8am right outside our window. Why would you put people in room when you know they are going to be disturbed. When checking out the front desk couldn’t care less. Arrival was great. Staff was vey nice. Rooms clean and shower hot. Some other nice amenities and great views…all ruined by hammers and drills at 7:55 am this morning and each day until 5pm. Forget getting any rest on your vacation. If you book try to stay away from all the noise. Didn't know when i booked this in February that July would have issues. Good luck.

All rooms are individually owned. The room we had the first night was not good (mesh curtains without blackout capability, “rock” pillows, “kitchenette” advertised was only a fridge and single cup coffee maker-no dishes or flatware). We asked for another room and our following nights were much better: clean room, better pillow, dark room capability, a “real” kitchenette.

We were really looking forward to our stay here for our first trip to Aspen. We booked the Deluxe Upgraded highest tier room you could book based on the photos online. The photos both on Hotels.com & on the hotel website show only upgraded rooms as the Deluxe options & non-upgraded rooms as the standard options so we assumed we would get what we saw advertised & we did not. Our room had which again was the highest price tier had not been upgraded since the 80's or 90's. The rooms pictured are not what we received & we were told by the property that the rooms all have different owners & some have been upgraded & some have not & even the staff said they don't know which rooms have been renovated vs not. Needless to say we were very upset that we did not get what we paid for & was told the hotel was completely sold out & this was the only room avail. I have traveled all over the world & stayed at hundreds of hotels for both work & leisure & have never experienced this. The property itself is great, but the need to do a better job of accurately advertising what they are selling. The proximity to Buttermilk can't be beat & other resorts are closeby but this issue really put a damper on our trip.

This was the worst night of sleep ever! There is a half-inch gap between the door and floor, zero sound proof. We could hear every person walking down the hall, door slamming, and even the room above using the bathroom and having sex. Only stay here if you want to party!

We received the worst customer service, EVER. And it happened to be by a shift manager. My husband and I arrived 2/14/25 checked in, everything was great. We get to our room that happened to be a connecting room, I checked to make sure the door was locked. It wasn’t. The room could be accessed by complete strangers, both ways. We immediately called downstairs. We were assured maintenance was coming to fix it. We had dinner reservations and maintenance never showed. We spoke to management who was extremely rude. She offered to store our luggage downstairs. When we arrived downstairs she basically threw the keys at us and told us to put our luggage away ourselves. My husband demanded customer service and this lady started screaming, threatening to leave us out on the street for the night, I have video. I managed to remove my husband from this horrible lady. We left the next day. Please stay away from this place!

I was not greeted when I came to check in, I was only met with “ID.” My response was, really, no hello, no welcome. He claims he said hello, he did not. Then when I handed him my ID he returned it by setting it on the counter as opposed to handing it back to me. He appeared to try to redeem himself by explaining the shuttle and services at the hotel but the feeling of disappointment lingered. After a long drive and looking forward to my stay this really left me disappointed. On the plus side, the room was very clean and modern, the free shuttle service to town and tour venues can’t be beat. Parking is convenient and there is a restaurant on sight.

This may have been my best stay at a hotel in years. The staff did not know that I had just traveled from my Father’s funeral and because the hotel was very quiet during my stay they had upgraded me to a beautiful room. I started crying because they didn’t know how stressful my last 2 weeks had been along with delays in traveling. The room was spectacular and so quiet. I had more than I needed. Anytime I walked by the front desk, staff were always asking if I needed water or fresh amenities in the room. The most attentive staff I’ve been around in a long time. Thank you so much for this stay, I will certainly always make this my first choice in Aspen!

The staff was very friendly and tried to be accommodating. However, our FIRST room was under construction when we arrived. They relocated us to an “upgraded” room which was not much better. 1. The shower did not drain…you could hear the drain fill as soon as you turned on the water. It took 8 minutes (yes, I timed it!) after I was done. Nothing is worse than showering in standing water. 2. The bed mattress and pillows were so hard I had to use the decorative pillows to sleep on as they were much more comfortable. 3. The bed stands 30 inches off the ground. I am 5’3” and could not climb into bed without assistance. My husband, who is 6’5” could not put his feet on the floor when sitting on the bed. 4. Noisy…we were on the first floor and people yelling and talking up and down the hallway all not was abhorrent. Considering we were right near the front desk, you would have thought they would have asked them to keep the noise down. But, I had to take it upon myself to ask them to keep the noise to a dull roar. And this was not at 9:00 pm, but rather 1:00 am when most people are trying to sleep. Considering the price and the previous reviews, I feel it is not worth the money.

Great hotel with friendly staff. There was no breakfast and the hotel was out of Aspen. There's not much parking in Aspen. The area around the hotel was nice as you are right by the ski lift. The corridors were cold and there was fan heaters around the hotel. Would be a perfect hotel for the ski season.

From the moment we arrived at this hotel in Aspen for the day/night, we were immediately disappointed. They gave no inclination that the hotel is currently under renovations, so several amenities were not in use. The TV in our room was broken and the internet was spotty. These are just minor things though. Our room was located right next to the coffee area and it was SO loud. No one was respectful with their volumes well into the night- I’m talking 2am wake up calls to loud guests. Plus, don’t bother going to the BBQ restaurant on location because the bartenders were extremely rude. I’m talking practically refused to serve us despite us sitting at the bar for 20 minutes. The girl bartender had the worst attitude with customers and the male completely ignored us. We finally sat at a table and were served quickly. It was just extremely disappointing of a stay and we do not recommend.

The property is less then 5 minutes from the airport in the direction of town. It takes maybe 10 minutes to drive into the heart of everything. It's a strong 3 star hotel with everything you need and a big restaurant. The only thing i found odd is their breakfast doesn't start till 8AM and the coffee options they have are very sub par. Besides that, for the price, this place is the perfect option.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at The Inn at Aspen. Rooms were comfortable and clean; the staff was amazing! Everyone helped us with where to eat ... where to go ... and the Inn has a shuttle service that tooks us everywhere. The BBQ restaurant in the hotel was very nice and reasonably priced with a great Amber beer. I would highly recommend The Inn at Aspen.
