This is the second time I’ve stayed in room 308 and both times the fridge hasn’t worked. Then I went to get ice and the machine was not working/or was out of ice. I was not told this when I checked in. I then had to go down to the second floor and get ice. I can’t call the front desk because the phones here do not work. This is the only hotel I have EVER stayed in that does not have working phones. What if there is an emergency? There is supposed to be a text sent from the front desk after you check in as a way to communicate but I did not receive that so could not even use that method this stay.

Love the enclosed pool and that the hotel is so family friendly. Great breakfast in the morning. Bummed that the hot tub was not working. Obvious that reduced staff since the pandemic. Will be returning next time we visit Ukiah.

Property is nicely maintained. Lovely outside pool with hot tub. Pool is seasonal but hot tub was sheltered and functional. Koi ponds and garden area. Pet friendly. Lobby is spacious with fireplace. Breakfast was nice with omelet, potatoes, bacon, waffles. Instant oatmeal and cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit and juices. Muffins and choices of bread. Dining area had several areas with tables and chairs so we we felt we could eat in the public area safely. Desk fellow was pleasant and every employee greeted us and smiled like they were happy working there. Really makes a difference!

I will say Mario was an excellent welcomed breath of fresh air as I arrived. The bed was hard. The pillows were not the best, but worst of all I wanted to go swimming in the hot tub in the morning and at 9 AM. I went in to go into the pool and it was filthy and I went to the front desk and told the management That there were Band-Aids floating in the pool and so they sent somebody with towels and they cleaned outside filters, but never cleaned the pool very disappointing

Very pleased with the property particularly the pool area and the grounds for our dog.The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a little disappointing but not terrible. They made cheese omelets and I'm not a fan of cheese on my eggs. The oatmeal was very watery. The area by the front desk where they sell items you may need was empty. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Clean. Very comfortable bed. Staff willingly let us change rooms when I told them our previous room smelled like smoke. Main complaint....toilet was VERY noisy. High pitched whine. Just an annoyance.

The hotel room smelled like a locker room, dirty feet smell, it was horrible. I accidentally spilled a little water on the carpet, laid a white towel down to soak the water up and when I turned the towel over, it was brown from being dirty, gross and disgusting. These two issues will effect my decision making in choosing hotels in the future.

The hotel wasn’t ready for us to check in, an hour past the check in time. They were quite unapologetic about this and told us that they overbooked the hotel. The room wasn’t clean, and they didn’t come back to provide fresh towels despite our request. Also upon our return one night, the front desk guy pulled out a knife on other patrons and was verbally aggressive. Could be a perfectly fine hotel if they figured out their staffing issues, stopped overbooking, and hired more cleaners. And perhaps trained their staff to not pull knives on people.

We didnt get the room that we booked. The front desk guy said he couldn't let us have it at the price we booked. He was very unhelpful. No towels in the pool/hot tub area. In our room, the toilet was so close to the bathroom cabinet you couldnt sit down without leaning over to the side. Our room was very noisy and traffic sounds kept my wife up all night.

I appreciated the cleanliness of this property inside the rooms and in the shared areas like the pool. The breakfast was surprisingly varied for a motel breakfast. (Note: The toilet was surprisingly low.). The area has some street travelers and is within walking distance (a mile and a half) from downtown. There aren’t always sidewalks and its a car-centric area of strip malls and local businesses. A car-free bike path is near and looks newer. Ukiah’s old town district was surprisingly quaint and from a time past, in California. I would stay at this motel again if I could secure a balcony room again for fresh air and extended living space. I got a couple of good night’s sleep and felt safe on the third floor of three floors. The motel was manageable and managed well. The walls were insulated well; I only heard one air conditioner (not mine) of a shared wall or from the floor below running all night, but it was a consistent sound, so I got used to it. Didn’t hear other voices or flushing toilets, so that was proof of good soundproofing. Thanks Hampton Inn-Hilton in Ukiah.

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Hampton Inn's anywhere. The room is always clean, roomy and I loved the double vanities. Lighting could of been a bit brighter but this was not a deal breaker.

Annette at the front desk was excellent. The young guy in the evenings was terrible. Couldn’t help me find a previously quoted rate and refused to honor a reduced Sunday night room rate. I was upset and thought he should not work there. He was lazy. We waited for pool towels for over an hour. I had to go in and inform him while he was sitting around doing nothing. Lazy. Rooms had a terrible odor!! Was it the carpet? Who knows. Can’t they smell the horrible smell as you enter the room? Come on housekeeping staff. We still tipped that person. Pool was clean. Jacuzzi was cold not hot. Breakfast food was well stocked. Good size parking lot.

Tried to check in a 8pm, but they informed us they overbooked and gave our room away. They booked us the hotel next door by Marriott. It was less expensive than our booking, so not only did they give our room away, they still made a profit off of our stay. Never have experienced this before. They said they give away bookings at this location if you book through Hotels.com or other third parties. If you plan to stay, you have to book directly through them and show up early. The other hotel worked, just annoyed we couldn't stay where we booked and the hassle of taking the whole family to a place we didn't book, all while knowing they still made a profit over our incovenience. Will book elsewhere in the future.

Well, any stay at a hotel starts at the front desk and Robert was excellent and not only had great decor, but was funny too. Not to mention he made sure I got my Hilton Honors point. The rooms are clean, breakfast was good and plenty do since your in the middle of Ukiah.

I was double booked a room, when I checked in to the hotel I was reassured that I would only be charged for one room. They charged me for both rooms and refused to refund the second room that was not stayed in. I would NEVER stay here again. Hampton Inn stole $178 from me and would not refund. I spent hours talking to different people.

Well, any stay at a hotel starts at the front desk and Robert was excellent and not only had great decor, but was funny too. Not to mention he made sure I got my Hilton Honors point. The rooms are clean, breakfast was good and plenty do since your in the middle of Ukiah.

Overall a good, clean place to stay halfway back from Eureka. Convenient to town into the freeway. If I had anything to say it would be at the breakfast was not very edible. Perhaps upgrade choices with some fresh fruit?

The grounds were very cute and nice. The pool was warm. They had buttered popcorn when you walk in, major plus! And the breakfast buffet was really good! I was Very impressed by that. And the staff were all super nice and accommodating! Really great experience overall and would definitely stay here again when coming back to the area!
