Motel 6-Ukiah, CA

Enjoyed the pool, floors were dirty, I would was my feet and next day they would be dirty again from floor. No coffee pot, microwave or fridge.

Reception person was rude and abrupt when I arrived. Apparent homeless people where in their cars in the parking area. I was in Ukiah for a cycling event, and needed a fridge and microwave for my early morning meals - there was none (apparently I should have noted this when I booked - I must have missed the small print). The room was basically clean, but pain was peeling off the wallas and door panels and there were holes in the walls. I guess you get what you pay for! I will not return there.

Tweeker housing. Doors slaming all hours of the night yelling arguing . Only half of the 20 inch tv worked but couldnt hear it over the yelling above us

Check in was terrible, the rooms are beyond disgusting & very dirty especially the beds, bathroom & floors! The lights, TV's, outlets & multiple other things are broken, management refused to give us a new room with a working tv, pool is dirty, there many different kinds of very creepy bugs including a massive black widow on the pool chairs with it's web covering everything in that area & wasp nests full of wasps, pincher bugs in the blankets, no drinks in the vending machine chunks of plastic & other disturbing objects Frozen In the Ice Cubes! Also a bunch of weird drunk & drugged out people making noise all night!

Property ok, was reasonably clean and well maintained. Cigarette butts on the staircase. Ice machines (neither one) working. Door to room had a large vertical gap its whole length, and the lock set was very suspect. Light in shower not working, sink faucet was loose. Bed was decent, very thin blanket/ cover.

Not impressed. Stained sheets, no hair dryer, no coffee pot. The smell of marajuana was everywhere. Did not feel secure.

The staff and service is the only thing really good I guess it was better than no motel room at all. It did give a false description when advertised room aminities stated it had satellite tv and premium channels it barely had 10 local channels and it's also stated tub shower combo nope just a single small stand up shower stall no tub at all rooms roughly small as well nice pillows and the room was freshly painted so that was decent and the heat and air conditioner worked well did have a microwave and a refrigerator in there so that was Best Plus

Absolutely disgusting. -Room smelled like old musty cigarettes and you can’t air it out because the only window is by the front door that’s constantly being patrolled by tweakers. -I feared there were bed bugs so we didn’t even sleep in the bed, we used our own blankets. -The shower was dirty and had old hair at the base. We couldn’t even bring ourselves to shower in it. -Marked up mirrors and the refrigerator had a drink inside. Not cleaned. -The light shades are super filthy. -The bathroom fan is loud and annoying -The paint all over the room is chipping. -There are mysterious brown stain drops all over the walls. -Motel 6 should definitely take their name off this building. The “motel guests” are more like long term residents. -From 10-5 am, you’ll hear tweakers out in the parking lot. I asked the front staff if I could change rooms and he responded annoyed and said No then went on to say that they were sold out which is total b.s because every room that in open has its windows open. I hate this place and they should be out of business.

The cleanliness was really poor – the sheets were stained and yellowed, the floor was very dirty, and there were only two towels provided for a room of four people. On the positive side, there is a restaurant next door that is very good and worth trying. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.

Motel 6 is at the bare bones end of the motel chains, but since their design upgrade and rebranding, the few I've stayed in have been cheerful and clean. Not this one. It was filthy. It kept the same color scheme as the other facelifts, but that was all. It was like lipstick on a pig. Not one thing was not chipped, soiled, patched or outright dirty.

There was cockroaches everywhere

Well i needed help with bring my laundru up stairs asked a employee for help and he told ne no and room 228 had bed bugs

This place was a dump. Non smoking room smelled like cigarretes. Bathroom and towels were dirty, the bed sheets were stained and scratchy. Service was bad all around.

Non smoking room was obviously smoked in. Neighbors were too loud. Floor was unclean

The bed smelled of urine. Sand or cat litter on floor.

The room claimed to be non smoking but clearly it was. The room itself had weird holes in the walls that were filled with dust, like open vents that needed covers. The sink had hairs in it. The towels were thread bare. The non smoking alone was really not cool.

Had to switch rooms twice the first one smelled like cigarettes so bad even though it was supposed to be a smoke free room, the second room wasn’t even clean and then the third room we gave up and took it but it still smelled and we had to go to Walmart to get air freshener and a candle to get rid of the smell so we could actually sleep cause it was horrible. To top it off we had no hot water to take a shower and the heater smelled horrible the filters haven’t been cleaned in awhile over all it was a very horrible experience I’ll never stay here again

I was looking for an inexpensive overnight for a work trip. This was the cheapest but I got what I paid for…this hotel is at the bottom tier of acceptible options. Room was dirty (see photos), really worn out, threadbare sheets with stains, floor had stains? And I didn’t want to walk barefoot. Walls are very thin and the person above me was banging around at 230a and I heard everything. Neighborhood is sketchy as f$&k with homeless? Wandering around and sitting in parking lot. They recommend using deadbolt on the door and I did, but was worried about someone wanting to break into my car all night. Do yourself a favor and book any other option. On the one positive note, the front desk staff was pleasant.

It’s old and rundown but if all you need a place to lay your head for the night then is satisfactory.

Bed was comfortable.

The price was fair. However it soon became obvious why( room #123): The shower head was literally dangling. The flooring at the foot of the shower as soon as you walked out had rotted & was covering a hole only by the vinyl laminate. Also for a "non smoking room" I could swearJoe Camel had been there😉 It wasnt anything devastating or traumatizing but definitely details tge property iwner should address.

I accidentally left my key in my room once, and when i went to request a new one, manager/owner was annoyed and asked me if i had $5. The keys always deactivated so easily and once again, owner would get annoyed when i would ask to have it reactivated. Even told me "youre the only one who complains about the keys, no one else has this problem". Very much attitude all around. Stayed there for 2 weeks and not ONCE did my room ever get cleaned. Had to swipe a roll of toilet paper off one of the carts. Thankfully i had my own towels.....

It was nice to be treated nicely at check in even though I was dropped off early the manager Albert was very understanding and accomadating. I have not been back here in years and was pleasantly surprised.

Walking distance donut shop that was very good.

The pets stay free policy got me to reconsider Motel 6 as an option when traveling because paying an extra 50 per night gets old and expensive really quick. I almost instantly regretted my decision when the room we were checked into had the worst cigarette smell l have ever smelled in.my life. The management quickly made up for it by switching rooms, no questions asked. The motel had the usual types hanging around, people who l assume live there but they were friendly and unobtrusive. It was a quiet and comfortable place to sleep after a long day traveling. The beds were more comfortable than l remember them being at Motel 6 and the AC worked perfect. If you're not super hard to please you can't beat the rates, especially if you're traveling with fido.

Worst property I've ever stayed at! Homeless people asking for $ and knocked on my door over 10 times during stay! Had several people try to crawl through my window! It might be cheap but ill pay for a more upscale property to feel safe! It was literally awful!!

This location was not the best BUT room was comfortable, clean and suprisingly quiet!

Various times during the day, there were sketchy dudes, who weren\'t guests, walking through the partking lot. (I\'ve stayed in Motel 6 motels all over the US, and this was the first time that I had seen such sketchy people wandering through the parking lot.) And around the motel there were "street" people. As well, while the room I had was specified as a "No Smoking" room, it clearly had been smoked in as there was residual cigaretter smoke smell.

Motel is used for homeless people! Horrible Horrible conditions! Had over 10 individuals come to my room asking for $ Dogs barking constantly at all hours! Drug use was rampant! I never ever would stay or recommend this property! Their corporate offices should be made aware of what goes on here!!
