I've stayed at this motel several times and it's the cleanest in the area. The manager, Mac, does a great job. While the furniture is a bit worn, the rooms have been nicely updated. They also have a laundry facility and a vending machine. The Wi-Fi is free and fast, and they provide daily room service, which is a nice touch. I haven't encountered any of the "sketchy people" mentioned in other reviews. Parking is one vehicle per room, which works for me, but could be an issue if you have a trailer. Overall, this is the best motel I've found in the area.

Perfect stay! Always had a parking spot. There is a washer and dryer there. Free coffee in the office in the morning. For the price this place is unbeatable!! My first stay but when we go back to Magic Mountain, this will be our go to stay. The ice machine needs a REAL GOOD cleaning.

This is an old-style roadside motel that has been nicely renovated and is tended by an extremely helpful, professional and friendly staff who appear fullly dedicated to providing the very best service possible. The rooms are clean and have microwaves and refrigerators. Our only wish was that they also be fitted with coffeemakers. However good coffee was available early in the morning in the office. A good ice machine, coin laundry and both Pepsi and Coke machines in a support room were greatly appreciated.

The motel too and staff was fine. The parking lot is tiny, and the streets nearby have little to no parking available, especially for a larger vehicle like a rental truck

Our room was clean and comfortable. We arrived after a six hour drive at 10 pm and was told there was no parking, despite that being a major reason I picked the motel. While waiting to check in, we were hit by a large SUV that could not fit into her parking spot. Not a great start to our trip. The owner said that other guests had taken more than one spot. It seems like the owners should have rules

Very good quality for the price, one of the first things I noticed about the room was how clean it was. I laid down on the bed and could smell how fresh the bedding was even though I checked in late at night, and when I came back the next night the bed was made and smelled very good again. The room and bathroom have a lot of space to move around, and the tv is big and has a lot of shows on demand. I'm absolutely coming back to this place next time I'm in the area.

A very basic motel with few amenities -- room had a refrigerator and microwave but no coffee maker! Room was very clean but in desperate need of a renovation -- peeling paint in the bathroom, poor lighting, and precious few electrical plugs, NONE near the bed! Plenty of noise from nearby highway and Metrolink rail line -- any redo should put in double-pane windows! Parking is free but pretty limited.

My biggest complaint with my stay was the service. I purchased two rooms ahead of time, only to arrive and be told I had only reserved 1 room. I showed them my receipt for 2 rooms and they said they would try to get me a second room. Well there was only one room left that night, so they gave me that too. They charged me for 2 rooms at the end of it and I thought that was it. However the next day after leaving, they charged me again for a third room. I’ve contacted them multiple times and they just keep telling me “we’re looking into it”. So basically if you stay here, pay with cash

We visited Six Flags and it is located in a great location for that. The room itself was clean and the price was right. This is the second time we have stayed there. There is always a concern that there will not be a parking spot for us as they have signage that warns there isn't enough parking but we have not had this issue with either of our visits.

Great location for Magic Mountain. Really close to a small downtown that has some rather upscalish type restaurants. Be prepared for expensive meals, however. Nice walk walking down the main street. Some of the most comfortable beds we've slept in for a motel/hotel. One time while we were leaving for the park we told the maid working on the room next to ours that we were leaving (so she could have access). It was a bit later that morning but she was still doing rooms. Thought she would go into our room and clean it since we had announced to her we were leaving. She didn't go in after we had left. Not a big deal, however, but thought it was odd that she didn't at least quickly tidy up after we were gone. There is no pool. I didn't look at the description of the hotel well enough to realize that. Would have been nice on Sunday to have had that opportunity. Not the hotel's fault that I didn't know. Had I been aware I'm not sure I would have booked it. Overall, I for the price, bed comfort and proximity to the park, I most likely would stay there again. No pool is a bit of a downer, however, so there are trade offs.

The room was really clean and simple, serving its purpose well. I noticed many complaints about traffic and train noise, but I didn't experience much of it because I was located near the back. My only issue was that, since my room was near the stairs, I could hear people coming up and down. Other than that, the stay was pleasant. There aren’t many dining options directly nearby, but a five-minute drive to downtown Newhall offered plenty of amazing choices!
