I booked a room with a king bed and a bay view a month before my trip. When I arrived I was told that the only room with a king that was available was across from the elevator and didn’t have a bay view. The man at check in offered me a different room with a smaller bed which upset me but I had no choice. I’m a big guy. I needed to sleep. He said he would deduct $50 off the cost. He said he would move me to a nicer room in the morning. When I got to the room it was warm so I tried to turn the temperature down on the thermostat. It didn’t work. So I called the front desk and told them. They said they would send a repair person up. I was getting really upset as it was 3:30am NY time and I was exhausted. After fiddling with the thermostat for 10 minutes I finally got it to work and cancelled the service call. The next day I decided that I would stay in this room as I had already unpacked and didn’t want to deal with moving everything. I went to the front desk and told the gentleman there that I was staying in my room and asked if he could extend the $50 credit for the other 2 nights. He said absolutely. The rest of my stay was uneventful. I liked the restaurant in the hotel. Today when I checked out I asked the woman to see if the $150 credit was applied. She said she didn’t think it was. I told her the employee from the first night offered it to me. She said I had to speak with the manager. I called her and left a massage but no response. I would avoid this place.

Location was great. Many restaurants and coffee shops near by, walking distance. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly.

Nice and clean hotel. Unfortunately I dident pay too much attention when I booked it…. I’m from Europe and we take a lot for granted… if you want to use internet… prices starts from 15$ a day…. If you need to park your car…. It’s an additional 55$ if you need something send to the hotel it’s an additional 5$ per item. If you want to have breakfast it’s 40-50$ a day… sooo about a 100$ extra a day. On top of that is there homeless people everywhere around the hotel… not super safe at night to walk around… it’s a shame it could be so much better. I was here for a 1.5month work trip. Decided to move somewhere else. Bonus info. Been traveling around the world for the past 14 years as a part of my job.
