Hotel sign on pool says it all. ‘Closed for Maintenance’ with pool covered in green slime. Restaurant and Bar closed (for a long time). Only one small bar of soap in room. One shampoo and conditioner, looked like no one cares

Management needs to send help asap. Understaffed. Needs improvement in everything except my room was actually nice. Bed and bathroom were clean and working. Adequate soap. Room was quiet. However the lobby, parking lots, entrance, pool, stairwell all distgustingly gross. AC did not work in lobby. All vending machines were broken and not stocked. Bar/restaurant was chained closed. Flies filled the lobby. Carpet nasty and peeling up. Flaming hot Cheetos sat in the lobby the entire time I was there. No idea if security cameras even worked. Need major repairs and cleaning immediately

Overall, it wasn’t bad. The biggest disappointment was the lack of a shuttle to the airport that they advertised having. The shuttle was part of the reason we picked that hotel. We were disappointed. However, It was very easy to get an Uber. They should just quit advertising that they have a shuttle. The price was very good. The hotel was a little run down, but she was a beauty once. The room was as very clean and comfortable.

Hotel general areas were not maintained. Pool area was overgrown with weeds and trash in the pool. The room was now well maintained with holes through the room dry wall and the drop down ceiling has water leak marks all over. No AC in the room.

The pictures on Expedia are not updated. Dirty, scary, fly strips hanging from lights fixtures in lobby, dilapidated, dingy smells, restaurant on property has permanent closed gates. Looks like it hasn’t served food in years. No shuttle. Police, fire truck presence and employees rinsing the front windows and driveway as if a murder just happened.

Clearly has seen better days. Airport shuttle is NOT available and has not been for some time. Desk clerk says owner has been repeatedly asked to take that amenity off the website. Room was clean but rug very stained. Whole property in disrepair.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER Friendly staff, yes — but they’re working in a building that should be condemned, not booked. Website photos? Total fiction. The real property is falling apart: Fitness center: closed & unusable. Pool door: locked — had to get a handyman to let me in. One elevator broken. Parking: unmarked & confusing. Airport shuttle: not running at all. My room was a nightmare: broken lights, no AC or fan, sticky surfaces, dirty floors/walls/bedding, fridge that either froze food solid or didn’t cool at all, half a roll of toilet paper, and no hair dryer — just a hole in the wall where it should’ve been. This place is unsafe, unsanitary, and misleading. Other than the kind staff, there is nothing here worth your money or your health. Travelers beware — stay anywhere else.

This was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Arrived at the airport - no shuttle. Many phone calls later I was told there wasn't one, I had an email telling me there was one. I had to take a taxi. The advertised on site restaurant no longer exists. The lobby - old, worn and dirty, very uninviting. Two elevators - one out of service, the other had old dirty carpet that had a bad odor. Hallway and room carpets - old dirty and stained. Vending machine had issues and not fully stocked. I walked into my room and it reeked of cigarette smoke - odor so strong I asked to be placed in another room. Missing room amenities - the shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. containers were empty, was told they didn't use those anymore but individual ones were available at the front desk. They do not supply Kleenex, coffee maker, paper cups or plastic glasses. There was only 1 set of towels, an ironing board but no iron, an ice machine but no ice bucket, one hanger in the closet, and the lights flickered off and on. There was a swimming pool but the water was an odd algae green color. The woman at the front desk was wonderful. She was very kind and tried her best to deal with all the issues. The hotel location is in an industrial area, no restaurants close by.

The hotel lobby and room smelled like a homeless shelter. The room was filthy. The furniture was disgusting and deteriorated. Both chairs in my room were covered in stains, and one of them had graffiti on the back of it. All four pillows had long strands of hair in them. My sheets were stained. There was mold on the ceiling, torn carpet, and someone left a loaded diaper in the stairwell. Horrid scenes. Truly horrid.

Do not stay here. Cleanliness is not a concept here. Dog poop in the elevator the entire 3 night stay. We told the front desk the first day and they could care less. The lobby is filthy. Rubbish all over the floor. Drug bags thrown on the floor in the hallway to our room and they were there the entire stay. Did I mention house keeping walked by them every day. Our room smelt like something had rotted in it for some time and it had obviously been smoked in. The walls were covered in filth, CHUNKY filth. There were blood stains on the carpet in multiple areas and a hole in the wall as well as the bathroom door. Grungy pimple patches were stuck all over the bathroom door frame. The air conditioning stayed on continuously and could not be shut off nor could you turn on heat. We were provided one half used roll of toilet paper and one towel. We asked for more and were told they were entirely out of toilet paper and had no more towels. We had to purchase our own items plus gloves and cleaning supplies. We would have went to a different hotel but everything was sold out for the J-Hope concert. On top of all of this they had the nerve to over charge our room stay $101 and charged a $100 deposit for a room that couldn't get worse. Did I mention half of the lights didn't work. I have pictures and video, but the app won't let me add any. Never again trap house, never again.

As soon as you walked into the hotel, the elevator and the hallways honestly, the whole building just smelled like marijuana. There were stains on the sheets, cracks in the walls and paint missing. Elevator was making a noise like it was hitting something in the shaft. Would never recommend this to anybody.

The carpet was disgusting, 5 spots where I'm believe someone's dog went. When you walk into the room, it was like getting punched in the face by carpet fresh. They only put one set of towels in the room. So.eone stuck gum on the headboard and the cleaning staff missed it. Air conditioning didn't cool the room. The phone in the room didn't work. I requested room service and to have the phone repaired, neither happened. Also there's no shuttle service.

My first suggestion is to NOT STAY at this place. Pictures of the property are not accurate to what the property looks like. For starters, the area is dirty. The hotel grounds are unkept and dirty with overflowing garbage and trash on the floor. The lobby is unkept and dirty; the upholstery of the lobby’s chair are ripped, dirty and stained. The carpet is ripped, dirty and stained including in the elevator. The property smells of marihuana from the moment to enter and in the room. Room is in worse conditions; furniture is scratched, corner of wall looks like is has mold, vents are dirty, walls are stained (I have pictures for all of this) This is an unsafe property to stay at specially with children; please do not!

Real sleeze bag. The lobby was dirty with stained carpets as was the actual room. Only one elevator worked and it smelled like urine. People in the hallways of the room floors hanging out. Looked like the Carters from New Jack City. Was nosy music playing all night. The bathtub shower was cracked where you stand. There was no soap in the dispensers. All the furniture was all stained and chipped.

The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are horrible. Our 1st room was literally infested with roaches. Roaches were in the bed. We didn't come in til 11pm or so and were so tired and had to deal with this. We tried calling around for another hotel but it was too late. The staff moved us to another room, no roaches but the sink was clogged. The carpet is soooooo filthy and the A/C was not working. Ive never been to Oakland before so I totally drop the ball on reading reviews before choosing a hotel.

You get what you pay for at the Oakland Airport Executive Hotel. My room had a distinctive smell of an unshowered individual which seems to have permeated into some of the furniture. The electrical system of the hotel was in a precarious state, and I could not turn more than one light on at a time or experience unusable flickering. The power in fact cut out entirely while I was asleep, and I woke up to a complete outage with the exit lights on in the hallway. The bathroom walls were covered in wallpaper that was not water-resistant and thus was peeling and bubbling in many places. Even the hotel shuttle, the main amenity for a hotel near the airport, was out of service, leading me to take the nearby 73 bus. The main positive aspect of the stay was the staff, who were prompt, cordial, and gave good advice about the local area.

The rooms are ok, the thermostats don't seem adjustable, there are no drinking cups in the room. Why ? At one point both elevators were down.. Carpet needs replaced in elevators, it is stained and dirty. Public areas are littered and dirty. Because of your low prices you get a lot of riffraff. Upgrade the property and raise your prices.

When I got to the room, the thermostat was showing that the room was 86 degrees. The AC was set to the minimum of 50 degrees, but the vents were blowing hot air. I eventually just opened a window to cool the room down. When I went to shower, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers were all empty. I only later found the three small bottles with these by the sink. The outlets on the wall were also very loose and I had trouble keeping my charging bricks plugged in. That said, the bedsheets were clean and comfortable and the pillows were soft. This was the cheapest solo room near the airport I could find, so I guess I can’t complain too much given the price.

The front desk staff was great. My room key failed twice, both times they replaced it for me without checking my ID. Bed, towels, soap all clean and fresh. No bugs, no rodents. Functional mini fridge and microwave. Their website advertises a free shuttle, but this is a lie. It's perfectly fair to call the place run down. I did not see any executives staying there. You will smell Marijuana. The vending machine on the third floor will steal your money. If you're streetside, expect train and truck noise all night.

On two different occasions, one in the evening and one early morning, I went to the front desk seeking assistance. I was greeted by a sign that said "ON A BREAK," BUT NO LIVE HUMAN BEING ANYWHERE IN THE LOBBY! In the second instance, I was expecting assistance in getting to the airport, which the desk clerk promised me when I checked in. Needless to say, I had a plane to catch, so I was left to improvise other arrangements, which was nerve-wracking and most unpleasant.

Pulling up to the front the hotel was very crowded outside with cars and could hardly get through. Front desk representative was over an hour late for shift and nobody was at the front desk for check in. After leaving and coming back 10 minutes later, she was finally there assisting all the people in line who had been waiting to check in. Imagine your flight being delayed 3 times, getting to your destination finally, having to wait for a long line in order to check in, only to be told that my room was given away. Then having to call around at 12/1 am to find a place to stay for the night. Her only explanation was that she was checking on it. How do you give a room away that was paid for in advance when it was booked.

Upon check-in, I, along with other guests in line, was informed that the hotel's system was down and that we would need to wait 15 minutes—though that wait quickly stretched much longer. Despite the hotel’s claim of being non-smoking, the hallways were filled with the strong smell of cigarette smoke. Additionally, the walls were so thin that I could hear everything from the room next door, including their TV playing all night and multiple phone calls they made between 4 and 5 AM making it incredibly hard to sleep. Finding someone at the front desk when assistance was needed was incredibly difficult.

The staff is either helpful and friendly or rude and will not help at all, it was frustrating to deal with. I know they deal with a lot of nonsense and it's not an easy job, I respect what they do and I feel for what they deal with, but the attitude some of them have is inexcusable. I feel like housekeeping gets a bonus for every deposit they keep from customers, they are terrible at checkout. They don't seem to care much but then they find any reason possible to keep your money, it's messed up. Yes it's a cheap place to stay, but not if you factor in the $100 deposit that they will keep for the slightest reason. Then it is rather expensive for what you get. Could have stayed at a very nice hotel for what this cost. If you don't mind losing an extra $100, then this is a decent place to stay, but I will think twice about staying here again myself.

I’m not sure how they have the word “executive” in their name when there’s nothing elite about it. Parking was $10 in a shady back alley way that did have a gate, but the car next to mine had smashed in windows and a flat tire by morning. Facility was outdated, smelly and dirty. I waited 10 minutes for someone to show up to the front desk to check me in. It was close to the hotel and good for a quick turnaround, but you get what you pay for.

The entire hotel looks dirty, starting with the sign that is mostly covered by trees. Like, the building needs a serious powerwash. The businesses on either side of the hotel are closed, and all the trash and tall grass is not helping the aesthetics. I arrived at night - I did not see all of this until morning. The website mentions amenities that have not been in place since the pandemic. I chose this location because it says it has a 24-hour shuttle to and from the hotel and airport; It mentions a Bistro which looks as if it's been closed since 2020; The vending machines buttons were not working; The signs mention an ATM that doesn't exist. I booked a Double Queen and received a single King without notice. Every time I left and came back, I had to have my key card re-keyed all over again. This was happening to just about every single guest. The cover and pillows looked clean but I slept on top. It just looks run down.

The rooms were clean and comfortable however the phone in the room did not work, the iron was missing, and the heat did not work. When I asked about the heat I was told that the heat was broken in the whole hotel.

Nothing like the description. No dining or bar. Was told permanently closed. Little lighting outside front and in the "secured parking". No Shuttle to the airport as listed. No signage (at least lighted) on the building. Staff was nice. Carpets dirty. Graffiti in elevator. Stray cats in parking lot.

This property was nothing like the pictures online, an since l went through a 3rd party l was not able to get a refund. When I arrived it was run down , locks on gates of the inside restaurant and the exercise room, by looking through the windows was dirty with pigeon feathers ont the floor. There' was no shuttle and yet l was changed. Truly dissatisfied with it all, and if l could have received a refund, l would not have stayed . Very Dissatisfied $365 00 later

The area including Hotel never recovered from COVID Shutdown. The picture on Expedia does not reflect current condition of the property. No dining or bar service available. No restaurant service nearby. I liked the price $75 per night, parking $10. The bed was comfortable.
