What guests think

Regal Inn & Suites New York LaGuardia Hotel draws praise for friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a convenient Flushing location near transit, Citi Field, and dining, but reviews also cite noise, limited amenities, and paid, hard-to-find parking.

Rooms are basic with mini fridges and microwaves, frequently small, and many mention thin walls or street and aircraft noise. Cleanliness feedback is mixed: plenty found spaces tidy, while others reported stained linens, pests, or missed housekeeping. Wi-Fi quality is often poor, and early check-in or miscellaneous service fees frustrate some guests. Overall, expect a budget stay prioritizing location over full amenities.

Although the place says there is parking, it is a massive hassle AND costs $30/night. Street access is challenging. Rooms are charmless. It will do for a place to crash. But don't expect much. "Regal"? not so much. The photo was the view from my dirty window in the room.

This hotel is clean and new. Staff always takes care of me whenever I’m there. The second elevator has been out for a while, but that wasn’t a big issue. Parking not the greatest over there, but I was lucky to find some on the same block as the building so that was definitely a plus. If you’re traveling from out of town it’s a great area lots restaurants and stores (especially if you like Asian food)15-20 from LGA airport depending on traffic.

The room was very small - with two double beds (which we requested). Staff was very good at helping us change the reservation from two to 4 people (my mistake when booking). The room was clean-ish. One of the matresses was ripped on the side. As we were packing up to leave, we saw a roach in the room. The garage where we parked our car was secure. Food options were limited - we could only find chinese restaurants. We did enjoy Dumpling Xi - food was excellent.

Perfect hotel for a long or short NYC trip. Room was very clean upon arrival, and room service cleaned every day of our stay making sure we always had a comfortable room to stay in. TV has Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ so we were able to watch stuff while getting ready. Hotel is very close to the subway and streets are safe and easy to navigate. Perfect location! AC unit worked great and we weren’t struggling with heat at all. Staff was incredibly kind and even offered to let me borrow a charger when mine broke. They also held our luggages after checking out so we can enjoy our last few hours without having to drag it around. Only complaint was the noise of the planes at night, but not much to be done about that. 10/10 stay, and will absolutely keep in mind for my next trip.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was far below expectations. The pillow was visibly dirty, which made it hard to feel comfortable. Even worse, there were urine stains under the toilet, which clearly had not been properly cleaned. I hope the hotel takes hygiene more seriously in the future

Stayed here once before, it was fine. But last night the first room was ant infested. So I moved to another room with a roach that greeted me at the door. He moved me to a 3rd room which had a pool of water on the floor. By that time, I was too tired to ask for another room and I believe he said that was the last one. I couldn't sleep well as I was thinking something was going to bite me. Then in the morning I saw that my phone never charges and was dead because the outlets in that room didnt work. Upon leaving I asked for at least a partial refund and he said he escalated it to his manager.

Hotel was advertised as having sound proof rooms which was not the case. I could hear yelling & screaming by various guests as well as the guest's TV next door around 4:45AM. I booked the room in the hope that I would have quiet for at least one night so it was a somewhat disappointing experience.

If you're not fussy about room thrills and frills this is a great option for you. What you get is a clean room, queen bed, mini fridge, microwave; a few options to store items. average sized bathroom with towels etc. You don't get the extra toiletries such as face soaps, creams etc but that is a fair trade-off for the price once booked in advance. Stayed on the 2nd floor and you can hear street noise into the early hours of the morning. Subway is a 7 minute walk and no issues with any Ride Share for the location. Ideal place to stay if you're going to CitiField. Decent shopping at the Shops at Skyview.

The location and price were convenient to LGA and to Billie Jean King Center and was quiet and safe. However, this is a 2-star hotel at best, wifi was bad, no amenities (like a hostel), maid service was inadequate (didn't do my room even when I asked), towels were small and stiff, no cofee just instant coffee and a boiler, blankets were thin, and there a ton of flies in the room. Will mostly like not stay here again.

the only thing i did not like is the hotel trying to run my card a day before when expedia acts like you pay at hotel when you arrive like the majority of hotels do. i complied and called them and they ran my card a day early, but then when i arrived they run the card again and tell me the other full charge would drop off in a day. Really made no sense and with all my travels I have never experienced that. I would stay here again if they can figure out a better procedure for charging for the room. The staff was great and the room was clean

It’s in a very good location. Smacked right in the middle of flushing downtown. Lots of options just a couple minutes around. It’s very close to Citi field for concerts. I’d go back here. My only cons is that there’s really little amenities. Also ubering around this area is not the greatest either so definitely plan where you’d want to get your Ubers, traffic gets insanely congested here. The cleanliness of the towels and pillow cases could be improved , I’m sure it’s clean but they def need replacements. Lots of gross stains here and there on the pillow cases and towels which is a turn off.
